Let's say I wanted to buy a DA11 William Regal in order to turn into a Ric Flair.....what type of product would you guys recommend I use to take off the tattoos on Regals lower legs? Thanks in advance for the help!

I use Goof off. It takes off paint, oil, almost anything.

Try 100% Acetone. It supposedly removes the tattoos fully and doesn't discolor the skintone.

Acetone/nail polish remover is your best bet, as the gentlemen above already mentioned. You can also use paint thinner if you have that at home.

i too would recomend acetone but if you cant/dont want to then you could just sand them off, which may slightly alter the skin colour though

take some fine sand paper and sand it off it should be fine unless you use heavy sand paper and then itll screw it up

seriously, acetone is better because it wont discolor the skintone.

Sandpaper: NO. Painting over them: NO, unless you want to paint the entire figure's skintone.
Pure acetone (available in any hardware store) is best, but use it diluted with water. It won't take much acetone (or much water, for that matter). Just dab an old washcloth in the solution, then dip it slightly into some water. The tat will wipe right off, without any worry of ruining the skintone.
I did the exact same thing you're wanting to do to turn the Regal into Flair . . . . it works flawlessly.

id just paint over it i guess im not that good at these things you could screw it up that way. using nail plish remover discolors the skintone. it also eats away at the plastic. 100% acetone is the only thing i would recomend. you only need a little. i too is a nail polish remover, but it isnt as harsh.

100% acetone will discolor figures if you use too much of it and leave it on for too long
