The show opens with still images from the match between "The Imposter" Ultimo Dragon and Mr. Asai originally taped for this episode of Fight Club, including Dragon purposely getting disqualified and revealing himself as Jimmy Jacobs! Jacobs continued to beat down Mr. Asai post-match, which finally concluded with a back-body drop into the Fight Club dumpster, which Jacobs had previously set on fire. The motage concludes with Asai in mid-air during the body drop, then quickly fading to black as audio returns to hear Joey Styles scream "OHMYGOD!!!" and then the crowd gasp in fear. The video returns to show Jacobs doing the Raven cross taunt on the stage as paramedics and officials rush to the dumpster, which is being sprayed with a fire extinguisher.
Jimmy Jacobs is shown backstage. He speaks into the camera. "Raven, have I done enough now? Have I done enough NOW? I nearly took a man's life tonight. Have I done enough to earn your respect? I'm not asking Raven--" Jacobs pauses and whips a water bottle across the room."--I am DEMANDING that you respect me." Jacobs storms off.
The Fight Club opening video and theme, "Lights Out" by Sugarcult, plays and then we return to the arena where (small) pyros blast off from the stage. The camera fades out to show the entire Fight Club Complex and then zooms in on Joey Styles and Tazz, who welcome everyone to the show. "Folks, what you just saw was the results of a match previously taped for this show," Styles begins. "We can confirm that Mr. Asai, better known as the real Ultimo Dragon, faced some severe burn injuries as a result of the attack from Jimmy Jacobs. As a result, our show was missing a main event. After the show concluded its taping and fans left the ringside area, Fight Club officials booked one last match to air on this show: C.M. Punk vs. Tommy Dreamer of Project5 in an Empy-Arena-Come-As-You-Are street fight. This is the first time ANYONE has seen this match, and we hope you enjoy it, but first, when we return, we will see the matches originally taped for this show, starting with Shane Helms against Kofi Kingston in a U.S. Championship qualifying match."

Elimination Night Qualifying Match
"The Show" Shane Helms vs. Kofi Kingston
This match was somewhat one-sided, but Kingston got in his share of offense. It was likely obvious throughout the match who would win this one, but it was still a competitive bout. Kingston had Helms down and appeared to be looking to hit him with his signature spinning heel kick, but "The Show" had other plans. As Kingston bounced off the ropes, Helms telegraphed his kick. He then lifted him up on his shoulders and planted him to the mat with an inverted TKO/neckbreaker move. He then nailed Kingston with the shining wizard and fell down for the pinfall and the victory. (7:46)
Backstage, C.M. Punk speaks with Cactus Jack. "Hey Jack, welcome back to Fight Club." Cactus shakes his hand. "Thanks, buddy, it's good to be back, but it's going to be even better when I have that Hardcore gold wrapped around this gorgeous waist. BANG BANG!" Jack marches off as Punk just laughs to himself.

Elimination Night Qualifying Match
Shelton Benjamin vs. Matt Sydal w/Lizzy Valentine
Another impressive outing from "The Golden One" Shelton Benjamin as he made some rather quick work out of Matt Sydal. Sydal started out with some quick offense, but his speed really would not prove to be much of an advantage against Benjamin, who himself was no slowpoke. Benjamin eventually took the advantage and did not relinquish it. He finally nailed Sydal with a Yakuza Kick, following it with the T-Bone Suplex for the pinfall victory. (6:42)
After the match, we cut to the back where a split-screen of Terry Funk, Cactus Jack, and Sabu walking toward the ring is shown. Their contract signing will be up next!
~ Commercial Break ~
Jonathon Coachman stands in the ring as we return. "Hello everyone and welcome back to Fight Club. We are here tonight to make this match official, as the Hardcore Heavyweight Championship returns at Elimination Night. We will be bringing out the three men that will face off in that Club Hardcore Rules Triple Threat match for the championship to sign this contract." Sabu makes his way to the ring first. He grabs the contract and signs it quickly, throwing the pen and clipboard back on the table. Coach asks Sabu if he has anything to say, but Sabu pushes the mic back into his chest and sits back in the corner. Terry Funk makes his way to the ring. Coach looks to hand him the pen, but Funk takes the mic. He says he isn't signing anything until he knows Cactus Jack is in the match. Cactus makes his way to the ring, picking up the contract and signing on the line. He then hands it to Funk, nodding that the match is on. Funk signs, and they begin their staredown. Just then, the Gladiators make their way out on the stage. Batista and Haas, along with their new manager, Fierce [Note: Fierce is an FM Lita figure.] Batista has the microphone. "Wolf, can you believe our Gladiator Challenge was cancelled due to this bullcrap? This isn't important, this is a bunch of old guys writing on paper. Nobody wants to see them in the Fight Club ring. They want to see us, the Gladiators of Fight Club." Funk, still holding the microphone, turns to Cactus Jack. "Hey Mick, I don't know about you, but I'm feeling slightly disrespected. What do you say that tonight, we show these young whippersnappers what a couple of OLD GUYS can do in the ring?" The crowd pops as Cactus sticks his "hand guns" in the air. Haas grabs a microphone. "You want a match, Funk? You want a wrestilng match? You're on!" Batista looks angered that Haas would suggest a wrestling match, even questioning it aloud. Haas looks confused, but Batista shakes his head and turns to the back. Haas stares down the two Hardcore Legends. As they turn back to the ring, it is revealed that both Sabu and the Hardcore Heavyweight Championship are gone from the ring! He ran off with the belt!

Elimination Night Qualifying Match
Roderick Strong vs. "Gun for Hire" Brent Albright
Earning a spot in the U.S. Championship match would be a huge step forward in the career of either one of these men, and that showed through throughout the match as we saw one of the most competitive bouts of the evening. Strong had obviously not gotten enough revenge for last week's RCW Tag Trios match, as he took it to Albright and hard, nailing him with several chops in the corner as well as his ever-present arsenal of backbreakers. Gun for Hire showed his moveset off as well, getting in some strong offense against Roderick as well (no pun intended). Nonetheless, Roderick would be the one to pick up the victory, as he planted Albright with the Roderick's Edge powerbackbreaker for the pinfall victory. (9:51)
After the match, Strong celebrated his victory passionately. Austin Aries came to the ring to celerbrate with him, shaking his hand as this would be a huge moment in the future of Roderick's career in Fight Club.

Coach is shown backstage, as he makes yet another big announcement. "Folks, I am getting word that due to the extreme assault on Mr. Asai at the hands of Jimmy Jacobs on the taping for this episode of Fight Club, one of his fellow countrymen, Yoshihiro Tajiri, has challenged Jacobs to a match at Elimination Night, and Jacobs has accepted. This will not be just any match, but rather, a Dumpster Match!"
Tag Team Match
The Gladiators vs. Cacuts Jack & Terry Funk
A certain amount of tension was evident throughout the match, as Funk and Cactus bickered between each other, but it didn't seem like it would affect them. Batista may have shown why he did not want to compete in a wrestling match, due to his less than impressive arsenal of moves. Nonetheless, Haas put on a great showing, as did the two Hardcore Legends. The tension finally boiled over as Jack and Funk broke out into a fistfight following a tag. This would eventually lead to Funk clotheslining Jack out of the ring, which would end up being the beginnning of the end for the Hardcore Legends. Funk turned around to be planted to the mat with a Batista spinebuster and then locked into the Haas of Pain. Batista held off Cactus, who really wasn't making much of an effort to get back into the ring as Funk was forced to tap out to Charlie Haas for the submission victory. (14:32)

Empty Arena Come-As-You-Are Street Fight
C.M. Punk vs. Project5's Tommy Dreamer
Before the match, the camera pans the vacant Fight Club Complex, perhaps to prove its emptiness but also to show off all of the aspects of the venue that may not be seen when the fans are around. Despite the name of the match, Dreamer makes his way to the ring in his ring attire, although that may be how he was still dressed. Punk made his way to the ring in jeans and a t-shirt. The referee called for the bell and it was on. It did not take long to spill to the outside, as the men battled throughout the confines of the Complex. C.M. Punk dominated the earliest part of the offense, as he backdropped Dreamer through a table and nailed him with such weapons as a barbwire 2x4 and a trash can. Dreamer took over the offense, using a steel chair and a singapore cane. He then set up a table at ringside, placing a barbwire board on top of it. Dreamer and Punk battled around the arena some more, but eventually came back to the apron right above Dreamer's set-up. Dreamer looked to put Punk through the table and board, but Punk fought out of it, pulling Dreamer up on his shoulders and nailed him with the Go 2 Sleep! Dreamer bounced from the attack landed directly on the table, crashing through and getting stuck on the barbwire board. Punk dropped to the ground and pinned Dreamer for the pinfall victory. (20:59)
Punk celebrated, signalling to the camera that he planned to take his championship back from Raven at Elimination Night. Styles and Tazz thanked everyone for watching, and urged everyone to watch next week as we have our final show before the Elimination Night pay-per-view!
