The E presents...
Friday Night RAW
Friday Night RAW
A short opening video airs featuring the stars of The E's Friday Night Raw brand. A camera pans across the crowd as fireworks blast off on the well-constructed (custom) stage. The camera finally slows and then stops at the commentators table, occupied by Jim Ross and Jonathon Coachman.
JR: "Bah gawd! Hello everyone and welcome to The Es' Friday Night Raw! I am Jim Ross alongside Jonathon Coachman at ringside, and we are in for one hell of a show tonight."
Coach: "No doubt about it, JR, but Vince McMahon has packed so much into this show that we have to get it kicked off with a championship match right off the bat!"
The E Intercontinental Championship
Muhammad Hassan vs. William Regal vs. Carlito vs.
Kenny Dykstra vs. Chris Masters vs. Mr. Kennedy
This was a really spotty, scattered match with all of the differing styles involved. However, it turned out okay and definitely excited as no clear winner was really ever shown with all of the combatants controlling the offense against someone at some point. In the end, Carlito got Kennedy caught up in the ropes and then attempted a springboard moonsault on Hassan, but he caught him in mid-air and planted him to the mat with a tombstone piledriver. He then pinned him for the hard-fought victory to become the first Intercontinental Champion of The E.
Winner: Muhammad Hassan [8:45]
Backstage, Eric Bischoff enters Vince's dressing room.
Eric:"Vince, I understand you wanting your debut show to be perfect, but you must have made me general manager for a reason. Why can't I book a match tonight?"
Vince: "Eric, I did make you general manager for a reason. Because you know when to listen to your superiors. And believe me, Eric. Tonight is one of those nights. I'm just getting you off on the right foot."
Eric: "Vince, I don't need you to get me off on the right foot."
Vince: "Right, and that's why WCW was so successful. Oh, wait... That was my company. That was the WWE."
Bischoff shakes his head angrily as Vince walks off.

The E World Championship Tournament Quarterfinal Match
Chris Benoit vs. Booker T
Like all of the matches between Chris Benoit and Booker T, this one was another mat classic. They battled it out back-and-forth as they always do, with both men showcasing the key moves in their arsenal. Benoit seemed to be in firm control at the end of the match, but after a ref bump during an attempted German Suplex, things were to change in Booker T's favor. In a surprise turn of events, the World's Greatest Tag Team rushed to the ring and attacked Benoit, leaving him lying in the ring. After a few moments, Booker was able to hit Benoit with the Book End and gain a pinfall victory, moving on in the tournament.
Winner: Booker T [9:56]
Backstage, J.B.L. is standing by in a designated interview area
JBL: "Tonight, I go one-on-one with Shawn Michaels, the Has-Been-Kid. It's my time, Shawn, and so help me god if I lose to Shawn Michaels tonight, JBL will not step foot on Friday Night Raw ever again. But that's just an afterthought, because I will be winning tonight. I will beat Shawn Michaels within an inch of his life if that's what it takes, because I am J... B... L, the wrestling... God."

The E World Championship Tournament Quarterfinal Match
Rey Mysterio vs. John Cena
This was an interesting clash of styles, but the two men pulled it off nicely. It was no mat clinic, but it got the job done. Being the larger man, Cena could not work his underdog routine and we saw some more of his moveset than we usually do. Rey played the underdog, this time, coming back after a prolonged Cena offensive to set him on the ropes and hit him with the 6-1-9. However, when Mysterio attempted the West Coast Pop, Cena caught him on his shoulders and planted him to the mat with the F-U. He rolled over and pinned him for the three count and a rather lucky win.
Winner: John Cena (7:19)
Paul Heyman is shown in a dark room backstage. He flicks on the light above him to show he is in the boiler room.
Paul: "The E... Entertainment Professional Wrestling. Well, there's a part of this company that isn't about entertainment, but about wrestling. We are the underground - The Extreme Underground. People like myself. People like Rob Van Dam. People like Tommy Dreamer. Like the legend Dean Malenko. Like C.M. Punk. We are the people you will not be seeing on Friday Night Raw. We are the people who have formed our own society, and we will be coming to you on our own time. The Extreme Underground's time. And it all begins... when the time is right."
Heyman points to the light bulb hanging bare above his head.
Paul: "Now, that's... a bright idea."
Heyman grabs the chain and flicks off the light bulb again before we fade to a commercial break.
Backstage, our new interviewer Kate Williams catches up Muhammad Hassan.
Kate: "Muhammad, earlier tonight, you captured the Intercontinental Championship. Can you tell us how that feels?"
Muhammad: "How dare you. How dare you come up to me like that. I am a champion. This title means more to me than you will ever realize, Kate. It means that all of me prayers have finally been answered. My God is behind me, Kate. Muhammad Hassan is returning to his former glory. Today, the E Intercontinental Champion. Next, the World Champion!"
Hassan begins to laugh maniacally as we fade back to the ringside area.

The World Tag Team Championship
"La Resistance" Rene Dupree & Rob Conway vs. "World's Greatest Tag Team" Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas vs.
"Legion of Doom" Road Warrior Animal & Damaja vs. "Cryme Tyme" JTG & Shad Gaspard
The E's four top tag teams battled it out in this one. They are also currently the E's only tag teams on the main roster. La Resistance was eliminated very quickly, as the Legion of Doom hit Rob Conway with the Doomsday Device for a quick pinfall victory. It was apparenty after their elimination that Conway was injured. The rest of the teams continued to battle it out though, and it proved to be a rather spotty match, but very exciting. The Legion was the next to be eliminated though, as Cryme Tyme planted Animal to the mat with a Samoan drop/neckbreaker combination. Finally, Booker T ran out to distract the referee as Haas and Benjamin attempted to use the ring bell against JTG and Shad Gaspard, but Chris Benoit ran in and knocked Booker off the rope. This turned Shad aroudn just in time to duck the bell shot from Haas, forcing him to hit Shelton. JTG threw Haas out of the ring and Shad pinned Shelton, with Cryme Tyme stealing one!
Winners: Cryme Tyme (14:33)

Edge makes his way out on the stage before the match begins, and he is in street clothes.
Edge: "Batista, I really, really wanted to fight you tonight, but I haven't been cleared to wrestle by my doctor. So, as much as I would like it to, it just can't happen, but I found a suitable replacement to represent me in this match."
Edge begins to laugh as Batista, who wwas already in the ring when we came back from commercial looks on. In a shocking moment, the monster Abyss makes his way down to the ring!
The E World Championship Tournament Quarterfinal Match
Batista vs. Abyss (substitute for Edge)
This was a pretty slow match between two monsters in the ring. Batista showed his strength by overpowering Abyss on occassions, but the newcomer proved to have his own strength as well. Batista appeared to have the match won, setting Abyss up for the Batista Bomb after throwing him into the ring post. Edge tripped the ref and then "somehow" overcame his injury to run into the ring and hit Batista with the spear. Abyss then picked up Batista and hit him with the Black Hole Slam as Edge revived the referee. Abyss then pinned Batista, picking up a victory for Edge.
Winner: Abyss (6:34)

The E Cruiserweight Championship Battle Royal
Jamie Noble vs. Funaki vs. Gregory Helms vs. Paul London vs. Daivari
This match was less-than surprisingly quick. Not sure what I was thinking having a five man battle royal. lol. I was just trying to spice up the card a bit, but whatever. It was fast-paced and didn't have a lot of substance so I'll go to the eliminations. Jamie Noble threw Gregory Helms over the ropes early on in this one. Shortly after, London was attempting a 450 Splash on Funaki, but Daivari ran over and pushed him off the top rope to the outside. After a bit more battling, Noble and Daivari were trying to double team Funaki out of the ring, but Noble eventually stopped and grabbed Daivari, tossing both of them from the ring to capture the E Cruiserweight Championship.
Winner: Jamie Noble (5:13)

The E World Championship Tournament Quarterfinal Match
Shawn Michaels vs. JBL
Finally, it was main event time. The crowd was into this one big time with much support for HBK and a lot of anti-JBL. However, JBL dominated a lot of the offense in this one, targeting HBK's formerly injured lower back with much of his attack. Michaels finally went on the offensive after ducking the Clothesline from Hell and hitting JBL with a back suplex. He followed it up with his patented flying elbow drop, but JBL was able to kick out. JBL returned to the offensive not long after this, and continued to hit HBK with power move upon power move, looking to finish off the so-called "Has Been Kid." Michaels kept fighting back though, albeit unsuccessful for sustained amounts of time. Finally, JBL had him right where he wanted him and looked to be attempting the Clothesline from Hell again. He went for it, but Michaels ducked again, and this time he nailed JBL with Sweet Chin Music! JBL hit the mat with a comedic delayed fall, and Michaels pinned him for the three count and an advancement in this tournament. It also meant that JBL could not show his face on Friday Night Raw again!
Winner: Shawn Michaels (18:41)
JR: "BY GAWD! THIS HAS BEEN ONE HELLUVA NIGHT, COACH! SHAWN MICHAELS MOVES ON! JBL IS GONE! WE HAVE THREE CHAMPIONS AND ANOTHER ON THE WAY! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!"
Coach: "Yes, JR, this has been one exciting night. Keep an eye out for the debut of the E's Extreme Underground here on WF:TV. For Jim Ross, I'm the Coach, saying... Good night everybody!"
JR: "GOOD GOD IN HEAVEN!"

Backstage, Eric Bischoff stops Chris Benoit as he is about to leave the arena.
Eric: "Benoit, I have been thinking and I have talked with Paul Heyman. If you want, you can have a match against Booker T and the World's Greatest Tag Team. The only problem is that it will have to take place on the Extreme Underground debut show."
Chris: "I don't see any problem with that, but I can't take on them three by myself."
Eric: "Oh, you don't have to. I've set you up with some partners that I am sure you will be fine with."
Chris: "And who would that be?"
Eric: "Dean Malenko and Perry Saturn."
Chris: "Really? Well, you know what, I'll do it. Tell Booker T and his buddies to be prepared for a very 'radical' experience on the Extreme Underground."
Benoit continues out the door, as Eric Bischoff is very proud of his first match that he booked.
