The E presents...
The Extreme Underground
The Paul Heyman video from Friday Night Raw starts the show.
Paul: "The E... Entertainment Professional Wrestling. Well, there's a part of this company that isn't about entertainment, but about wrestling. We are the underground - The Extreme Underground. People like myself. People like Rob Van Dam. People like Tommy Dreamer. Like the legend Dean Malenko. Like C.M. Punk. We are the people you will not be seeing on Friday Night Raw. We are the people who have formed our own society, and we will be coming to you on our own time. The Extreme Underground's time. And it all begins..."
A voice-over says "tonight" and then the Extreme Underground opening video plays. The camera comes out of the steel cage door that is the EU entranceway and the camera pans across the cheering fans, swinging around and stopping at Joey Styles and Mick Foley who sit at the commentator's table.

Joey: "Hello everyone and welcome to the E's Extreme Underground. I'm Joey Styles alongside Mick Foley, and as was stated by Paul Heyman, we're not about entertainment. We're about wrestling."
Mick: "No doubt about that, Joey, but there's one thing I would like to point out. They put the commentator's table for Raw in front of the Underground entrance, which consists of a steel cage and a dumpster, and our announce table gets put in front of their stage, which is this huge thing."
Joey: "That's a very good point, Mick. If you turn on the show and see the commentator's, which show is going to look more professional?"
"Extreme" Triple Threat Match
Jay Roclass with Nikki Pryce vs. Nunzio Maritato w/Trinity vs. Yoshihiro Tajiri
This was one hell of a wild match. It was "extreme" so anything could happen, and it definitely did. They fought back-and-forth with all three men getting in some offense. They ended up battling to the outside and eventually up onto the stage. Tajiri climbed onto the dumpster to the top of the stage, and Jay Roclass, who had knocked Nunzio down on the ground after a flap jack onto the announce table, climbed up onto the table and then the stage. Roclass dodged a kick from Tajiri and then hit him with a huge forearm shiver to the back of the head. Tajiri collapsed onto the dumpster, and then rolled off to the ground below. Roclass then immediately went for a moonsault on Nunzio, but Trinity pulled him out of the way. Roclass crashed and burned, leading Joey Styles to use his patented phrase "OH MY GOD!!!" This lead to a "CAT FIGHT!!!" between Nikki and Trinity. Nunzio pulled Roclass into the ring and hit him with the Arrivederci, and through everything that happened, Nunzio somehow prevailed with a pinfall victory.
Winner: Nunzio Maritato (11:15)

The E Hardcore Championship One-Fall-To-The-Finish War
C.M. Punk vs. Tommy Dreamer vs. Sabu vs. Snitsky vs. Stevie Richards vs. Shannon Moore vs. Jimmy Jacobs
The name of this match suits it quite well, because it was an absolute war. These men beat each other with every weapon under the ring - from chairs to tables to a ladder to garbage cans. Tommy Dreamer eventually broke out a chair covered in barbed wire. The match came down to the finish with some exciting spots. Snitsky received a dropkick from Punk, knocking him off the apron onto a few tables. Sabu then dove off the top rope and hit Snitsky with a flying leg drop, crashing him through one table. Not long after, Shannon Moore received a DVD from Tommy Dreamer through the other one. CM Punk took out Stevie Richards with an STO onto the barbed wire chair, but Jacobs snuck up behind him and hit him with the Contra Code, just missing the chair. Dreamer got in the ring and set up the chair. He then grabbed Jacobs and hit him with a DVD onto the chair! Stevie Richards was back up now and he grabbed Dreamer, hitting him with the Stevie T. Richards put his feet on the ropes and pinned Dreamer for the surprise victory!
Winner: Stevie Richards (14:15)

Six Man Tag Team Match
Chris Benoit, Dean Malenko, & Perry Saturn vs.
Booker T & The World's Greatest Tag Team
Due to time restrictions, we joined this match in progress. It was either this one or the main event, and the ME didn't seem right. Benoit and Booker battled it out, while the WGTT took on the Extreme Underground members, Malenko and Saturn. Their youth turned to an advantage over the veterans, being much faster than them. However, despite any advantages they had throughout this battle, it didn't seem to help them in the end because Chris Benoit ended up dodging a Booker T scissor kick and locking him into the Crippler Crossface for the submission victory.
Winners: Chris Benoit, Dean Malenko, & Perry Saturn (6:14 aired, 10:14 total)

Main Event + Extreme World Title Match
Rob Van Dam vs. Rene Dupree
RVD was surprised by his opponent being the newest member of the Extreme Underground roster, but he was ready. These two battled it out for the remaining time availible in the show, which wasn't a lot but enough time to decide the Extreme World Champion. Van Dam originally took the match to the outside, hitting Dupree with a flipping suicide dive to the floor. Dupree would be the one to take advantage of it, eventually hitting Van Dam with the TKO onto the top of the dumpster. He dragged RVD into the ring and went for the pinfall, but somehow Van Dam kicked out. Dupree started to lift up RVD, but he leveled the newcomer with a vicious Van Daminator to the chin. RVD then climbed up to the top rope and hit Dupree with the Five Star Frog Splash for the pinfall victory.
Winner: Rob Van Dam (9:33)
Paul Heyman came to the ring and handed RVD the title belt as he celebrated after the match.

Backstage, Paul Heyman walks up to Rene Dupree backstage.
Paul: "Rene Dupree... Welcome to the show, man. It's good to have you here."
Rene: "Thanks, Paul. And I am glad that you have accepted me into the Extreme Underground family. When Rob turned his back on me last week after our match, that was one of the most degrading things that ever happened to me."
Paul: "Degrading... Wait, why?"
Rene: "I have a feeling you will find out sooner rather than later, Paul, and I'd rather not talk about it."

Doug Basham is standing by backstage.
Doug: "For years, I have been made out to be a bad tag team wrestler, teaming with a fake brother, but now, that fake brother has joined the Legion of Doom. I know better than to deal with such foolishness. Animal is an old man and won't get Danny anywhere. But where does this leave me? Well, it's a new era for Doug Basham. I am coming to the land of the extreme, not to be hardcore, but to show off wrestling talent in its purest form. My time has come, and on the next Extreme Underground, I will begin my journey to the top of The E."

Joey: "We have a new Extreme World Champion and his name is Rob Van Dam. However, I don't believe business is over between him and Rene Dupree. For now, we are out of time. For Mick Foley, I am Joey Styles, saying good night everybody!"
Mick: "Be sure to tune in to Friday Night Raw and buy my new book!"
