Going to see my Twins tomorrow, so you get this a day early. Lucky you.
The camera pans the Fight Club Complex, which is more like a basement than an arena. A dumpster filled with some hardcore "toys" sits next to the gate that makes the entranceway. Only a few rows of fans surround the arena, giving it that "fight club" feel, and making tickets very hard to come by. Jay Hansen and Eric Kuss welcome everyone to the show as we immediately jump to the ring, where Jericho and Elix Skipper are already about to kick off the show.
Singles Match*
Jericho vs. Elix Skipper
"The Role Model," as Jericho currently wants to be known, makes quick work of Elix Skipper in this one, who looks more like enhancement talent than someone who is receiving a tryout match. Jericho planted Skipper to the mat with the Flashback and then locked in the Lion Tamer for a quick submission victory.
Winner: Jericho (2:23)
After the match, Saturn came to the ring and chased Jericho out as we went to a commercial break.

Zero-G Division Championship Battle Royal
Matt Sydal vs. Jack Evans vs. Yoshihiro Tajiri vs.
Mike Quackenbush vs. Jimmy Jacobs vs. Jimmy Rave
These six superstars were not able to use as much of their aerial offense due to the over-the-top battle royal rules, but they were still flying around the ring in their own right. Tajiri was the first eliminated, as Mike Quackenbush tossed him out. Jack Evans was eliminated next, as Rave rolled him over the top rope and then hit him with a back elbow to eliminate him. Matt Sydal and Jimmy Jacobs were teaming up to eliminate Quack, but Rave quickly came over and threw Jacobs out from behind. Quack then reversed it on Sydal to eliminate him as well. It came down to Quack and Rave. They battled it out for a few minutes. At one point, Rave had Quack locked in the Heel Hook, but obviously, he could not win the match by submission. They continued to fight for a few minutes, and after an attempted cross body block, Rave somehow ended up on Quack's back. Quack ran to the ropes in an attempt to eliminate Rave by tosshing both of them over the ropes. Rave let go, however, and grabbed onto the ropes, forcing Quack to fall to the ground himself. Rave slid into the ring, realizing his victory. The referee handed him the championship as Quack stared on in disappointment.
Winner: Jimmy Rave (8:19)

Fight Club Heavyweight Championship Match
Chris Hero vs. Rob Van Dam
This match was very up and down in terms of excitement. RVD was trying to use his high-flying, speedy arsenal, but Hero kept slowing him down with a lot of submisison holds and other heel tactics. Eventually, Van Dam was starting to gain the advantage, so Hero started signalling to the crowd. Claudio Castagnoli got in the ring and took a swing at Van Dam with his briefcase, but RVD ducked out of the way and kicked the briefcase from his hands. Claudio tried to pick RVD up on his shoulder, but he slid off and then dropkicked him from the ring. Hero then grabbed RVD from behind and hit him with the "Hero's Welcome." He rolled him over for the pin, but RVD was somehow able to kick out. At this point, Sabu came to the ring to prevent any future interference from Castagnoli, but they ended up in a brawl on the outside that eventually ended with Castagnoli winning. Back in the ring, RVD was in firm control, climbing to the top rope for the Five Star Frog Splash. Claudio jumped up and shook the ropes, tripping RVD, who rolled off, landing head or neck first on the mat. Hero then grabbed Van Dam and hit him with a second Hero's Welcome for the three count and the victory.
Winner: Chris Hero (13:14)
The referee awarded Hero with the belt, and he and Claudio celebrated as the show faded to an end. Jay and Eric reminded everyone to watch the Fight Club Video Xtra on Wednesday afternoon.
*The actual match was joined in progress, but for the sake of making Jericho look good for the television audience, only the ending minutes were shown and played off as the entire match.
