FCW Fight Club TV Eps. #3.8
Live from the Fight Club Complex, Minneapolis, Minn. | 3/21/08
Tazz and Coach welcome everyone to the show.
Tazz: "Hello everybody and welcome to Fight Club, I'm Tazz alongside the Coach and my usual partner, Joey Styles, isn't here tonight because he is across the city at First Avenue for the return of Club Hardcore later tonight."
Coach: "We'll be checking in with Joey periodically throughout the night as they prepare for that big night, but we have a lot of action going on here, and it begins right now!"
Singles Match
Elijah Burke vs. Roderick Strong
Strong and Burke battled it out in a stiff, hard-hitting match reminding us why they were two of the six man fighting for the U.S. championship just a few short weeks ago. The crowd was not totally into it, with Strong not over as a face and Burke not enough of a heel for them to care. This caused the two men to switch roles, as Strong began taunting the crowd, yelling for them to cheer them, so the crowd backed Burke. Despite being on the defensive and being hit with several backbreakers throughout the course of the match, Burke would be the one to pick up the victory, planting Strong in the corner with a surprise Elijah Express much to the crowd's delight for the pinfall win. (12:12)
Colt Cabana, Candice, and Tommy Dreamer are shown backstage. Colt thanks Tommy for being his partner, and he can't wait to help him get revenge on Project 5, but as for tonight, they have a warm-up match. Colt tells Tommy to follow his lead. Tommy doesn't look pleased.

Tag Team Match
"Classic" Colt Cabana & Tommy Dreamer w/Candice Michelle vs. The Gladiators w/Fierce
The match, which began with a humorous "Gladiators ready? Challengers ready?" call shades of American Gladiators, barely got underway before Colt Cabana gave Tommy Dreamer the signal and they began beating the hell out of the Gladiators from pillar to post around the arena. Eventually, the referee would count them out, but it apparently didn't matter. Cabana and Dreamer were out to hurt someone, and hurt someone they did. Tommy Dreamer ended up knocking Charlie Haas out cold with a chairshot in the middle of the crowd. Colt Cabana ended up giving Batista the Colt .45 on the steel stage and then tossing him through a table! (0:42)
Joey Styles checks in from First Avenue for Club Hardcore, saying that he has a special announcement: the President of the Board of Directors of Fight Club Wrestling will make an appearance live tonight on Club Hardcore to make a major announcement! Styles then welcomes his planned guest at the time, The Big Show. Big Show cuts a short promo warning C.M. Punk that while he has had a lot of success in FCW, tonight will not be his night.

In a pre-show match, Project 5's Brent Albright, Giant Bernard, and Tyson Tomko defeated a legion of CHIKARA superstars, Delirious, Gran Akuma, and Hallowicked in a six-man tag team match.
Singles Match
"Fighting Irish" Fit Finlay vs."The Show" Shane Helms
Finlay and Helms fought another stiff back-and-forth battle, much like our opener. The Fighting Irishman grounded Helms as much he could, but eventually the speed of the RCW Champion proved to be too much for the former King's Man. Helms hit Finlay with a springboard dropkick in the corner. Finlay stumbled out of the corner and Helms nailed him with the Shining Wizard for the pinfall victory. (9:37)
Helms celebrated his victory, but Shelton Benjamin snuck into the ring behind him and nailed him with a step-up enziguri kick to the back of the head, knocking him out. Benjamin left to the back as Helms lay motionless in the ring.

At First Ave, Joey Styles is standing by with Director of Security Sgt. Slaughter. Slaught can only offer us that the announcement was "deemed important enough for the President himself to deliver it," and that it "will greatly affect the future of FCW."

Contender's Match for the Tag Team Championship
New Age Punishment w/Paul Heyman vs. TEAM CHIKARA
The New Age Punishment showed their dominance once again in this match, although Team CHIKARA's teamwork proved to keep them in the match for the first several minutes. Nonetheless while last week would be Mike Quackenbush's day to shine, it would be Samoa Joe and Jay Lethal that proved to have the edge tonight. Joe planted Jigsaw to the mat with the Muscle Buster, which Lethal capitalized on for the pinfall victory while the Samoan Submission Machine held off Quack. Post-match, N.A.P. celebrated while Quack checked on Jigsaw. (10:56)
Joe returned to the ring, and Joe leveled Quack with a vicious kick to the back of the head. He then grabbed Jigsaw and ripped off his mask! He then pulled the mask on Mike Quackenbush, lifted him up and planted him to the mat with a Muscle Buster of his own. Joe stood over his fallen opponents as referees, Jay Lethal, and Paul Heyman pushed him away.

Joey Styles reminds everyone that Club Hardcore will start immediately after the completion of the match, and he has received word that the president will be in the ring for his appearance at the top of the hour, so everyone should tune in right away. Eric Bischoff shows up next to Styles, who asks what he is doing there. Bischoff says he couldn't miss a minute of the show, so he's getting a front row seat next to Styles. Joey rolls his eyes and sends it back to Tazz and Coach.
Main Event
"The Saviour" Jericho vs. "The Gold Standard" Shelton Benjamin
In easiest the match of the night, Jericho and Benjamin battled back and forth in a match between two of the biggest stars in Fight Club Pro-Wrestling. Both men showed off their signature moves as they traded the advantage between themselves. Jericho appeared to have the advantage, sending Benjamin into the ropes. Jericho lifted Shelton for a back body drop, but Benjamin landed on his feet. He then hit Jericho with a spinning kick to the back of the head, knocking Jericho down and out. Benjamin lifted him up and planted him with a T-Bone brainbuster. He then hooked the leg and pinned him for a very impressive victory. After the match, Benjamin celebrated, but not for long, as Shane Helms snuck in behind him and planted him to the mat with the Vertebreaker! (11:28)
A limosine pulls up outside the First Avenue. The door opens and Shane McMahon steps out! He tells his driver to just pull around, because he won't be long. He closes his coat and walks towards the entrance. Club Hardcore returns next!
