First off, yes, I know no one will agree with each other, but meh to that
I have just been listening to "Jeremy" by Pearl Jam, and just thought how great that whole album actually is, each song is very listenable, and thought that it is probs the best album, or one of the greatest ever
Another that is said to be one of the best, most important is Nirvana's "Nevermind", which I can also agree with
So meh, what do you guys think are the best album(s) out ever, or do you agree (that'll be a first, lol)

I consider the best album ever being an album that I can listen to every song, everyday, and not get sick of it. From Under the Cork Tree by Fall Out Boy and any My Chemical Romance album win it for me.

Well, I meant overall, but if we're doing it personal, then mines would be either;
Rise Against - "Siren Sound Of The Counter Culture" Rise Against - "Appeal To Reason"

Oh, best ever? Would have to be Thriller by Michael Jackson. Second would probably be Back in Black by AC/DC.

Thriller by MJ, Before These Crowded Streets by Dave Matthews band.
Those are just personal opinions.
I don't agree with Nirvana's Nevermind as "most important album ever". I don't even know how or why someone would think that.

album changed the face of music from ****ty cock rock bands to real music again.
as for the poster above me, you think Dave Matthews was more influential on music then Kurt Cobain? I think not.

Musically I'm going with Tiger Army, "Music From Regions Beyond."
For substance, "From the Cradle to the Grave" by the Subhumans is my favorite album ever.

IMO maybe Bad Religion - How can hell be any worse, that album is a HUGE inspiration to me.

I think not. There were two seperate questions in the original post. Best Album Ever Most Important Album Ever. In my opinion that Dave Matthews album was the best album ever. Not necessarily the most "important" album ever. That being said, I think Kurt Cobain is the most overrated artist in music history. Again, it's my opinion.

Stright outta compton By NWA -OSU lol I'm listening to the title song at this very moment.... weird As for the best album ever, I dunno.... I think it's definitely one of the Beatles albums, but I'm not sure which one.... I love Abbey Road, Rubber Soul, Revolver, Magical Mystery Tour, Sgt. Pepper's, The White Album...... Hell I love everything The Beatles ever did.... I guess if I'm forced to choose one, I'd go with this one:

The Beatles Revolver changed the face of music as we know it today. I've got to go with that record as my favorite and the best album of all time.

Gun to my head, I'd probably say Pet Sounds by the Beach Boys. The Velvet Underground & Nico is a definite contender, too.
