Pretty mediocre programming. That main event ruined the impression of everyone in it except batista. How the hell did kane pin jericho with a boot? How does he just get speared and lose? How can that match benefit jericho in the slightest?
That gunatlet thing is pathetic. It makes people look weak and has no logic to it.

May have been the worst overall RAW I have seen in few years.
Santino had me laughing. Sometimes it seems like the crowd is kinda dead for the funny things he says because they are too young to get them (and that wasnt a OMGZ PG statement).

Wow, Raw got a really low rating. Here's what I thought:
Katie & Jillian vs. Candice & Kelly: It couldn't be possible to accomplish any less in the ring. Don't understand this. If they were given more than a minute to work they could've have been able to do something of value. Just ridiculous to book something so short. Rating: dud
Charlie Haas vs. JBL: Funny without a doubt. I love these impersonations that Haas does, but it's just a cute distraction for the audience to not notice that he's still the same jobber he was before doing the impersonations. Since picking up this gimmick, he's only won a single match, and that was by countout, because JBL just walked out on their match. Haas is a great talent, and I don't understand why when he and Shelton Benjamin split, Haas took a dive and Shelton went on the rise. Haas is better on the mic, and I'd say they're about equal as far as in-ring ability goes. Rating: dud
Rey Mysterio vs. Snitsky: Remember when Snitsky beat Kane? Well, WWE hopes you don't. Snitsky was beat like he was a common jobber by somebody he towers and outweights by quite a bit. Snitsky has to be one of the guy's next in line to be released. He barely appears on TV, and when he does, it's just for a quick job. Having somebody so massive in size be such a pushover is just inconceivable stupid. Rating: 1/4*
The Miz & Morrison vs. CM Punk & Kofi: Nice match. Good flow and action. Obviously Punk and Kofi's match will get picked this Sunday. I wouldn't be surprised to see Punk and Kofi win the titles, as a way of keeping Punk looking good, until Orton's all healed up. I just hope that the upcoming Orton-Punk series of matches go longer than Jericho's title run. If anybody should beat Jericho for it, it should be Punk. If WWE doesn't take advantage of a full-blown Punk-Jericho feud over the title then they will fully prove that they are totally out of touch with logic and their fans. Rating: **
Gaunlet Match: This was probably the worst designed match ever. How did this make sense? The whole concept of a gaunlet match is for a single wrestler to try and beat back overwhelming odds. In this match Jericho and Batista had the advantage. After one of their opponents was weakened, the other was able to easily beat him in the next round. Regal didn't have a chance against Jericho after being crushed by Batista. Oh and nice job making Mark Henry look so weak by being defeated in no time flat. Wow, this was a stupid match. Instead of doing this crap they should've just had the two of them tag together against Henry and Kane. Rating: 1/4*
The Final Verdict: D- Bad show, saved from complete failure by a single decent match. The main event was a booking nightmare, much like the rest of the show. WWE did improve in recent years. WWE was in a bad way back in '05. A year I consider to be one of their worst. This Raw reminds me of those days.
