I've noticed this too. One time I was at Game Stop with a friend... theres a group of girls, no older then 10 years old were wearing make-up. I was like, what the ? Really? You're 10 years old! What do you want to impress guys for? Honestly, it was gross. They would have probably been cute if they hadn't had make up on, but with it they just looked atrocious. I was going to say something to them, but my good side decided not to hurt their feelings.. So uhhh... just wondering, but how did you know they were trying to impress guys? Because from what I can tell, you jumped to the assumption soley on them wearing make-up. Here's a little bit of info: I've had a HUGE hand in raising my niece since my brother has been... less than a stellar father, she's five now - and she likes make-up. Why? Because her mother wears it and she thinks her mom looks beautiful in it. Surprisingly, I've learned that a LOT of girls wear it or want to wear because of that reason. It has LESS to do with media bombarding them with ads or trying to impress boys, and more to do with the impact of 'monkey see, monkey do' from everyday life looking up to... say, an older sister, or their mother. Just like little boys seeing their father shave, and mimicking those actions, little girls want to be their mothers and do things just like them.

So what's the excuse for an 11 year old girl wearing make up, open mouth kissing another child, and grinding on him?

It was kind of obvious, though. Why else would girls where make-up? It's one of these three 1) Impress the dudes. 2) Impress other girls. (in a non lesbian way) 3) To be like Hannah Montana. You can tell a lot on what they are wearing. If it is 1) A mini skirt and a tank top you can rest assured, they are trying to get attention. or 2) A Hannah Montana/Jonas Brothers/The other big crazes t-shirts and you know that they want to be like the big pop star.

An excellent point. Which is why parents need to monitor their children. So many parents want to be friends to their children instead of being an actual parent. Amen. My aunt is the same way.

I just explained to you why they would wear make-up, were you NOT paying attention when you read my post? I'm not saying that THAT is why THOSE girls were wearing make-up, but it could have been. And contrary to your belief, Hannah Montana, Jonas Brothers, and the Disney channel do not determine how they dress, nor does dressing in any 'fashion' mean they're out to impress anyone. I live with a little girl - it could just be them *gasp* being ING GIRLS. ...but I guess since my niece owns a couple of tank tops and skirts, it MUST be that she is wanting attention, and just doesn't like the clothes. Give me a break.

Ever thought these kids have cell phones because their parents bought it just incase they need to call their parents in an emergency, but they themselves mis-use it.
in this day and age its alot different, alots going on in the world and its just getting worse. My dad said to me the other week how when he was a kid he would leave the house after having lunch and go play in a park or play football or ride his bike with his friends and the only rule was they had to be home before the street lights came on.
Where as now a days there are people roaming the streets with the intention of "fighting" and all this other stuff just for the sake of it.

Take up the responsibility that the parents obviously don't care about and beat them.
lol, no but seriously, RKO them. ಠ_ಠ
Ok, actually being serious now. I hate kids, I really do. None of them actually know how to be a kid. All they know how to do now is post VBlogs, trash talk on Xbox Live, and s00peRmaN dAt HooOO!

Im a sophmore in High school and let me tell you that the kids are not what they used to be 15 years ago. Im not the preppy aeropostale 24/7 kid but im not the scummy nerd kid. Im in the middle of the pack who gets along with all groups which = Normal Kid. It seems to me and I know for a fact that about 3/4th. of the girls at my school go to parties every weekend. Not that thats wrong but I hear them all talking about how they ALL got wasted and puked and then passed out. Plus it is now that sex is the cool thing. not just making out at the movies but losing your virginity your freshman year. I believe that kids are trying to look cool and trying to fit in with the other kids. Thats why they dress kind of skanky so they get attention. Also girls today just want to go hang out at the mall all day all week. I mean do nothing else with your boyfriend or guys with their girlfriend. Now I guess its cool to spend 80 dollars on shorts from aeropostale. Id rather take my girl to a ball game and get great seats for the price of a pair of jeans at the cool kid stores. Basically your only cool if you do drugs, lose your virginity at a young age, get wasted every weekend, and live at the mall. Plus whatever happened to playing sandlot baseball with your friends or football. Nowadays all kids want to do is play video games. I like video games but not all day thats what pisses me off at friends houses all they want to do is play video games. GO CUBS.

Speaking of fighting it is a shame, this girl on my bus that is all she talks about, This is all she says and I am not lying either. I called dis bitch out I said yo lets fight you gonna talk crap then lets fight bitch! if she is going to talk crap she will have her ass handed to her! we fought in the parking lot and I said lets go go bitch get up get up but none of her friends showed up. It is like that but it goes on forever and ever.

Let me explain something to you also, these girls you might've saw might've been 13/14 but you thought they were 11 the reason i say this is because as you get older and look at the high schoolers your like DAMN they look like they're from elementary ect ect so you might've misjudged the ages.

I'm not surprised. They have to have learned it from somewhere, though. Maybe they pick up the behavior from older siblings, or by seeing it on TV. Good for him. If I was 11 and a girl was grinding up against me like that, I'd bring her to KB Toys and do dirty things to her in the Transformers isle.
I kid.

kids today are banging each other and doing crystal meth by the time they reach middle school We need to come across as classy to trick the parents into letting the kids bop with us.

My little cousin is 11. It scares me thinking people her age are doing that crap. If she ever did anything like that, she would be donezo.

lol, yep. I do know what you was talking about because I am youth work myself, and working with lots of young people.
I working with 13 - 18 years old kids, and they act like as 18, 19, 20 years old, etc. Such as think it's OK to do that and that which wasn't OK. Especially with kids who are chavs, and they act like as harder or think their cool, but they wasn't harder when they get told off by me or other youth works. Especially when they trying making themselves looks "cool" but actual they just making themselves looks stupif/fool.
Kids just basically growth quickly compare in old time. Most of kids doing the stuff that adults did. Such as drinking, sex, and crime stuff like as damage stuff, stealing, etc. All basically about attitude and behaviour, really.
Most of kids think they are better than others, which lead to fighting, argument. At my work, most of them always caused trouble by fightning, damage stuff, etc. They just basically trying to damage their community. Which wasn't good thing.
