We see Ace Bennett alone in a small room looking through a giant stack of Independent Circuit video tapes.
Bennett (to himself): I have to find more! Need to be ready!
Since learning of his first match two days prior, Bennett had used all of his sources to find any information on his opponent. Bennett had never heard of the man who he was to face, and this made him very anxious to find out more.Once felt that he had learned almost every in and out of the arsenal of this mystery man, he decided to go for a jog.
As Bennett was jogging, he was devising a counter to every move that he had seen his opponent perform in the tapes he found. He found himself fantasizing about winning the world title and main eventing pay per views. He had gotten so caught up in his day dreaming, he had almost gotten hit by a car twice. All of a sudden Bennett's phone rings.
Bennett: Hello?
Recruiter: Hey! Ace! What have you been up to?
Bennett: I have been training non stop to prepare for my debut at the WFDC.
Recruiter: Good to hear! I see you were well worth my investment. Now listen, I got a favor to ask of you.
Bennett: What would that be?
Recruiter: I'm gonna need you to win your match at Reusing Old Graves. The guys up top and coming down on me real hard for signing some random guy off the streets.
Bennett: You know I will put everything into it sir.
Recruiter: Good to hear, I hope you realize that I put my neck on the chopping block just so you could get your chance. Don't blow this. It could mean both of our jobs.
Bennett: All right.
Recruiter: Well I'll let you get back to your training. Talk to ya later kid.
Bennett: Bye.
This phone call energized Bennett. He had decided he would pull our anything he possibly could to save the man who gave him his shot. Bennett went to the gym and set his own personal records in pull ups, squats, and the bench press. Bennett sprinted home and called the recruiter.
Bennett: Hey.
Recruiter: What seems to be the problem?
Bennett: I was just wondering if you thought I could win my match?
Recruiter: We will just have to see kid. We'll just have to see.
The recruiter hung up and Bennett quickly fell into a deep sleep and began to have vivid dreams about his first match.

Meh, any feedback is welcome. I could use some constructive criticism.
