That show in Philly looks incredible, and I can't emphasize how badly I'd love to be there for this card, I'll hopefully own this ahow down the road. The second show won't see a Marufuji win, unfortunately, so I'm only interested in Briscoes vs Kensuke and Nakajima, as action should be good in that, with nothing against the other matches,

Final Battle looks really good. It figures, every ROH show in NYC that I don't get tickets to usually turns out really good and the ones I do get tickets to is usually disappointing. Meh, whatever.

Both cards are shaping up to be amazing. I'm still highly disappointed that Tyler Black isn't getting another shot at McGuinness. It would be insane if he won the title on the last show of the year.

Briscoes vs. Nakajima & Sasaki looks terrible to me. I was very disappointed to see that match get announced.

I want to see Danielson/Lynn live so badly, but I can wait for the DVD. Both shows are shaping up to be excellent.

Couldn't agree more. Black has yet to have a straight up one on one match with Nigel. The first time they fought it was after Black had already wrestled in four corner survival, and his only other title shot was in a four corner survival. I have tickets to the show in the Hammerstein and I'd really want that match to happen.

Those dream matches are incredible on paper, can only imagine when they actually happen. Even though I'd love to see Marufuji have a world title run, I know it won't happen.

Sucks Nigel's most likely still going to be the ROH world champion going into 2009. Hopefully someone takes the title off of him during the Anniversary show(s) in February.

I have hopes Sasaki & Nakajima vs Briscoes will be good, but I don't know. I would rather see Sasaki in a singels match though. My first time seeing Sasaki will be very underwhelming.

Both of the Night 1 dream matches should be great.
Wish I could see 'em live.

I have an odd feeling that Marufuji's going to end up winning the title. Even if it's for a short reign, I think it's a belt that the man definitely deserves. Imagine a match between Marufuji and Black for the ROH World Championship somewhere down the line.

Imagine a match between Marufuji and Black for the ROH World Championship somewhere down the line. If Marufuji was gonna win, he would have won two years ago. ROH blew it, Marufuji isn't seen as a big deal anymore. Although, imo, he's the best guy NOAH has given ROH for seemingly regular appearances. Would Marufuji be a good ROH champion? Sure as hell would. Did ROH miss the boat for that? Sure as hell did.

Marufuji's been on most of the ROH shows that I go to in NY and when he comes it doesn't feel that special anymore. KENTA would feel special if I see him again. Sasaki & Nakajima are going to be special as well.

No way Marufuji wins the belt. Also in other news ROH wants to do some form of Strong/Sasaki again in Philly with it most likely being a tag match.
