The guys you have picked are all very talented and would perform very well in a ladder-match type environment....but we should remember that MITB is not simply a ladder match. The winner becomes the MITB Champion and may cash that in for a World Title match. I do not believe any of the men you have selected are going to be in the World Title picture anytime soon, however most of them will probably still be in the match to make it entertaining. I would have: -Evan Bourne (won't win, but will be very entertaining) -Shelton Benjamin (same, not championship material, but entertaining) -John Morrison -The Miz -The Brian Kendrick -Kofi Kingston -Mr. Kennedy (somebody relatively big has to be in it or it will seem like jobbers) -Vladimir Kozlov Vladimir Kozlov should win because he is in the main event picture already, but is not #1 contender....Kennedy should be in there as the popular face...and then the rest of the guys should be in there for entertaining high spots. But who knows....the entire title picture could change by the time WM gets here. |

Smackdown:Shelton Benjamin ,The Brian Kendrick & Carlito
ECW: Evan Bourne & Chavo
I would of picked John Morrison but if he's in another match at Mania that would make the PPV even more amazing!

Truthfully, this list makes more sense and are pretty much the guys who should be in it. I listed the guys I want to be in it basically which isn't what the thread is about. I just wouldn't want to see Kozlov win money in the bank. |

I would rather see some guys in there that deserve a shot at a world title than a bunch of guys that would put on an incredible ladder match. And much as I would like to see Bourne in the match and do some crazy things, I do not want him winning and becoming champion. Also, I do not want them to simply put one or two guys in there that deserve it and then the rest just be ladder match guys, because then we have a pretty good chance of figuring out who is going to win and it takes a lot of the fun out.
I like guys like:
Punk
Dibiase Jr.
Mysterio
Morrison
Big Show
Kozlov
Kennedy
MVP
Shelton
Umaga
Mark Henry
Matt Hardy
I could take any one of them serious as a contender for the title. If not now, definitely by the time they build to WM25, win the match, then build the fact that they are Mr. MITB for several months.

There should always be a big guy in the match because they open up new possibilities. Umaga would bring something new to it, being a super-heavyweight and not afraid of doing some crazy stuff.
Kozlov, I'd be too concerned about him screwing it up with so many bodies in the match.
I'd love to see Big Show climbing a ladder.
I don't think Evan Bourne is as far-fetched for a MITB winner as people are making out. Before he got injured, he was hanging out on Raw every week alongside Rey Mysterio and Kane. He is very popular and he's as credible a winner (ie not at all, really, but still being someone worthy of the match) as Christian, Shelton, Kane, Finlay and Matt Hardy have been when they were in the match.

If HBK/Taker doesn't happen, and the JBL/HBK feud continues to Mania I'd want HBK to win the money in the bank with the storyline of "winning the big one one last time". Other participates would be JBL, Shelton Benjamon, Rey Mysterio, Chris Jericho, Bourne, Morrison, Punk, Kendrick. I want Edge to win WWE title back from Jeff Hardy before Mania (I LOVE that Jeff Hardy won the WWE Title, but I love Edge even more, only HBK is better) and I'd want Christian/Edge to face Jeff/Matt Hardy (current ECW champ) with both WWE/ECW titles hanging about the ring, TLC Match, "winner takes all". I'd want Hardyz to break up and Christian to become new ECW champ and Edge to be WWE champ. BUT since WWE probably won't do something that cool, if Matt vs Christian, Edge vs Jeff, Edge vs Christian, Jeff vs Matt for ECW and/or ECW titles doesn't go down, any of those four guys in the money in the bank match is also good. But who is Undertaker going to fight if he doesn't fight HBK? Seems like it's Kane or Triple H now? Money in the bank is always a highlight of Mania and usually the second best thing about it. Wonder who will win?
