Let's go back when wrestlers had actually good,lengthy promos. A lil' foul language without holding back never hurt either. These short,disturbing sugar coated promos where wrestlers look humilated to say phrases like,''I'm gonna kick your tail,kick your butt'' etc etc. are just repugnant.Let's hear ''Hey Triple H,Austin 3:16 says I just kicked your ugly,lazy,non-wrestling ASS you son-of-a-bitch''!

A true ranking system... that alone would help fuel some feuds. Here's an example of how this could help a storyline they have going, MVP's losing streak if it emphasized he keeps dropping in the rankings to the point he's only fighting jobbers it would help his make sense,how do you have a losing streak and still keep fighting top talent. Also it would help with these new guys. Right now you never really have a reason why somebody fights somebody...but if you made it where #10 feuds with# 7 over ranking,#9 is pissed and feels he's overlooked etc. It would make being the #1 contender seem that much more important and seem like he really deserves it.Think AFC most are anticipating the Evans/Griffin fight solely by who they have beaten and the road they traveled theirs crazy drama over this fight without..run ins ,tag matches,100 promos etc.All because of them moving through a ranking system  |

The reason is younger fans. Plain and simple. If you go back to 1999 or so, you have 85% of the audience in the 18-35 demographic, and these days it's mostly children.

I mean, I loved early 90's to early 2000ish. But come on...

Add something to the HD Stages, to make each show individual, instead of just different logos and lighting colours.
Get rid of the Brands, and have just one Show. Create a new Super Faction within it, similar to that of the nWo that took over WCW back in the day. Guarentee you that would create more of a Brand War than the current Raw V Smackdown one.
However, if they wanted to take it to a new direction, a Ranking System would be a great Idea. I've thought of this for years. It would make it a lot more realistic too, and add depth to each of the Titles.
