Here the two where, sitting on a bed together, with a cigarette shared between them, the same way it was as they where teens. But when you look at it, not much changed, sure they are older and all that, but they are still the same. They still love each other, and the only real change is they are older, and one has a job that was a dream. The cigarette is fading out, as the flick of Jake’s finger sent a bud flying off, and landing down into a ash tray.
“So, what are we going to do?”
“About what?”
“About life, love, and careers.”
“Well I am going to quite my office job.”
“I suppose that will help, seeing that the two of us are going on the road now, and really you wanna get started wrestling, right?”
“Yeah.”
The jobs where do a like, but yet so different, on one side we have a secretary, and the other a man who puts his life on the line in the wrestling ring. What is so a like is what may be asked over a million times, the answer is having skills. Not any type of skills but people skills, the type where you put on that little smile, but the people around never think. They never think about what happens when that smile brakes, when that smile brakes, and you are stabbed with the shards it has now.
That smile that seemed so harmless, became so deadly to the office and to the corporation, there once beautiful employee, shows them a not so beautiful side. Tomorrow they will receive a phone call, and that very phone call will hold her on the phone line, where she shows what happens when that smile brakes. When she literally tells them to take there job, and simply shove it up their ass, and that she is not their ing puppet anymore. The guy who was a employer, who would slap her on the ass, each and every time she bent over, will face the hardship of being called a thousand names, after she called him separately from the other call.
Then on the other side we have the man who has just meet up with the beautiful girl known as Stacy, who will be in the same house as her tomorrow. The two are going to be placed living together, until a later date where they can afford a house for the two of them. Where some changes had been made, it turns out that the life’s remain the same. Jake will be in the ring again, after his super brawl match, and he will be ripping it up yet again.
He will most likely not be in a true battle, seeing that the challengers are Jay Mayhem and Trace Demon. One a man who he beat the hell out of in a razor blade board match, and another man who he had been beat by. His partner does not matter to him, as he watches each partner he has, simply for the fact they will snap and attack him out of no where. That is not how it should be, no it is not, he makes the rules, he will be the one to snap when you least expect it, and send a flying kick into the side of your face.
“Your last match was scary, Jake.”
“Why was that?”
“You where fighting a woman, and...”
“Yeah, you call that a woman, she was a whore who thought she was a wrestler, none the less thought she had a chance against me!”
“I...I saw a part.”
“You saw a part you never saw before! That’s because when you are in the ring, it does not matter what the challenger is, you beat the hell out of them!”
“Sorry...Calm down.”
“Well you need to know that, if they put you against a man, I want you to beat them to death.”
That was the best statement to be made, a former star made the mistake of not fighting a woman, simply as he thought it was wrong. If you are placed in a match with a woman, look at her as you would a man, as underneath that armor, is a person. Sure that person is a different form, with things that can please you, but you throw it out the window, you beat the hell out of her for cash, because when the bell rings you can not be the same man. You can not be a gentleman and let them take you down, you will have to show them why you are the best out there, and Jake had shown just that.
Now he just looks at the woman across from him, the woman who was known by him in his child hood. The same girl who’s father had abused her, and her mother had died in a car crash, and he sees it. He sees the fear that she must have had when her dad was beating her, the fear of power, and he is actually hurt by himself. His display was vulgar, and not permitted in his eyes, simply as he loved her.
“Sorry babe.”
“It’s ok...I am tired.”
Jake began groping around on the night stand beside him, as his beautiful girlfriend is laying beside him, in the dark room. He scaled over it a couple times, and then closed his fist tight when it touched the upper part, and pulled it up. He had the lighter beside it to, and then he pulled it away to, as he flicked the switch. Then sent another flick, as the beautiful orange flame shot up, and hit on the tip of his cigarette.
He eased it to his mouth, as he started inhaling the smoke and, then opened his mouth, and let the smoke roll out. Calming his nerves, this is a ritual for when he can not sleep, as he then stood up, and slowly crept away. He walked slowly, trying not to awake Stacy, and then heading out to the living room. Where he reached his hand down and then pulled up a phone from the coffee table.
The design was rectangle and not very thick, which was simply placed to be a iphone, that he had bought out of some of his cash. He walked over and sat down on a chair, and shuffled threw it, with his cigarette in his mouth, burning down. He pulled out the smoke item, and flicked it, sending the bud falling off and into a ash tray. He then turned off his iphone, as the flash of light that was in the dark disappeared.
