Well, here it is, my final house show. I must say, I’ve had quite a time, kicking ass, teaming with my bro, making a name for myself, it’s been awesome. Now I get to do it one last time for fun before I move onto to the big leagues. Reckless, looks like you’re my next victim. You’re in the National Title Tournament, so this might not be the only time we meet. It could be you and me going at the pay per view. That doesn’t matter tonight. We go head to head in the notorious Reckless Invitational. You’ve been undefeated, up until tonight, when I kick your ass all the way to the soon to be former owner of the house shows hometown if I want! Reckless, all I gotta to say is good luck my friend, it should be good bout.
Now, onto my great mentor, Yukio Blaze. Yukio, it’s been great being on the house shows, and thanks you, I’m going onto the big leagues where the big boys play. Yukes, thank you. You’ve taught me and many others moving on well, great knowing you.
I sit in the first row of the arena floor, Shawn by my side in his wheelchair. I was already in my ring gear. We look at the ring, the special stage set up for HS 50, where Yukio gives up his spot to one lucky guy.
Shawn: Man, can’t believe Yukes is giving it up. It’s a damn shame.
Flamez: Yup, thank god I’m graduating from this dump. It’s too bad you can’t do it with me.
Shawn: Yeah, it’s a shame. Who knows, maybe I’ll look into another good career when all this crap is done.
Flamez: Like what?
Shawn: Who knows. Maybe I’ll be a singer.
Flamez: Sure, good luck with that.
Suddenly, a man walked through the curtain, looking straight at us. It was the man of the hour, Yukio Blaze. He walked over and jumped the barricade, sitting next to Shawn. He seemed so calm and relaxed. I was surprised.
Flamez: What’s up my man? Nervous for the big passing of the torch?
Yukio: Not really, I’m actually excited.
Shawn: How come?
Yukio: Takes a huge wait off my shoulders. I might take a vacation for a while now with some free time on my hands.
Flamez: Good for you, you deserve it.
Shawn: In fact, I think this deserves a song.
Flamez: Oh good god no.
He got his singing voice ready, and I was terrified of his horrible voice. This is going to be, how do I put it, ummm, interesting.
Shawn: Another turning point, a fork stuck in the road. Time grabs you by the wrist, and directs you where to go.
Wow, my ears aren’t bleeding. Shocking.
Shawn: So make the best of this test and don’t ask why. It’s not a question but a test learned in time. It’s something unpredictable, but in the end it’s right. I hope you’ve had the time of your loves. So take the photographs and still frames in your mind. Hang it on a shelf and hang it in good time.
Yukio: Wow, not bad Shawn. You should go after it.
Flamez: Yeah, my ears actually aren’t bleeding.
Shawn: Tattoos of memories and dead skin on trial. For what’s it’s worth, it’s all worth the while. Sing it me!
Surprisingly, we all decided to sing together.
Everyone: It’s something unpredictable, but in the end it’s right. I hope you’ve had the time of your life. It’s something unpredictable, but in the end it’s right. Shawn: Here is to your awesome reign Yukio. You’re awesome.
Flamez: Good luck my friend.
We all just sat there, totally calm and relaxed, singing, for about an hour, until we all went our separate ways.
