Don't get me wrong, I've played both systems and enjoyed them but there is just one thing I've wondered for sometime. Why didn't Nintendo make something to give it backwards compatibility? I thought that would have been a nice feature to add to it when the systems 1st came out.

It was a different market back then. We weren't as obsessed about going back and playing older games like we are now. The later Atari models had backwards compatibility, and we all now how well those went It's also more common today, since everything is disc based instead of cartridge based.

Or could try to track down the God-like Tri-Star 64.
