Would Jose have made any difference? I think so.

He'd clearly lost the dressing room and things showed no sign of improvement. He had to go IMO.

Man Utd should get rid of Van Gaal and bring Mourinho in.

I'm depressed Woke up this morning and felt sick, literally :[ Can't believe they've let him go. Best manager Chelsea has ever had, and they've treated him like dirt. Those who forced him out should be ashamed of themselves. 8 years on and the very same could be said.

Not surprised honestly. He'd lost the dressing room and spending that kinda money/being backed financially like that.. no way should he be 16th.

For me he shouldn't have gone for two reasons:
1) I'm an Arsenal fan and after his choice of words for Wenger I wanted to see him see out the season and suffer 2) The guy is the most successful manager in their history, who are they going to hire who has a better track record than Mourinho?

Massively, massively gutted about this, hugely disappointed. At the very least, they should have seen it out until the summer, assessed the situation, and then gone from there. The Season is a write off regardless, we wont get relegated, and we wont get Top Four, so what good is it to go back to square one again now with an Interim Manager. He wont have any say on Transfers, wont be able to lay foundations for the future, and it's hard and tiring for players to buy into anything an Interim has to offer when you know in 5 months down the line somebody else long term will be coming in. I know Jose doesn't help himself at times, but a lot of this, a lot of it has been down to the squad under performing and consistently making mistakes. Hiddink might be a nice babysitter for the next few months, but he wont go through walls for his players like Jose, take fines for his men, defend them with everything. "Betrayed" was a harsh word to use, but I can understand his frustrations. He put 4 whole days preparation into making sure the squad was as aware as they could be, covering every single way Leicester scored their goals, and they once again made mistakes. What else can he do. The only positive that can come from this is that the players no longer have any excuses, all eyes are on them now.
