1. TNA dropped the ball with everyone, outside AJ Styles. And even then, they proceeded to ruin him after the fact.
2. Ironically, RAW has a better talent pool, but Smackdown has the best wrestling. RAW has the best stories. ECW is the best mixture of the two, just needs a bigger roster to pull from.
3. HBK vs Angle at WM21 was Michael's best WM match, and had a much better build up than the Iron Man Match.
4. Matt Hardy makes a much better heel then a face.
5. HHH deserves the spot he is in, regardless of his wife or father-in-law.
6. The Undertaker should go down in history as one of the most respected wrestlers ever.

2006 was an underrated year
john cena is overrated
chris jericho is a phenomenal wrestler, but is currently a boring heel.
edge is awesomeness
Matt will never be as good as Jeff
Morrison>punk
everyone>miz
Shawn Michaels is the greatest wrestler of all time
classic wrestling(before 1995) is boring
Mick Foley is underrated
and I'm glad Jeff hardy won the wwe title

- Undertaker is ONE of the best wrestlers of all time. - I still respect Benoit and believe he wouldn't of killed his wife and kids without steriods - I hate Wrestling before '95

WWF/E was at it's prime from 1998 - 2004. FACT. 2000 & 2001 were my best years of Wrestling.

3. HBK vs Angle at WM21 was Michael's best WM match, and had a much better build up than the Iron Man Match. I never thought about this really but I do agree with it. Let's see... 1. The Attitude era is incredibly overrated. Most people seem to enjoy it because that's when they started watching. Most of it was about shock value, which can only carry you so far. The in-ring product was terrible in 1998 and 1999, some of the storylines were absurd (the Greater Power, for example), and I hated the "main event" style of wrestling that Steve Austin started to use when he stopped being a technical wrestler. i.e. ref bumps, no dq matches, pretty much Over the Edge 1998 vs. Dude Love, which they tried to replicate time and time again. 2. The PG rating is not affecting the product that much, or enough to where it should be affecting your opinion on the product. People just use PG as an excuse for not enjoying it. If you really need to hear fowl language, just hang out at a high school and listen to everyday conversation. If you want mindless T&A, that's what the internet is for. If you want blood, watch some horror movies. People just cannot accept the fact that things will not be the Attitude era again, and the WWE is much better for it. 3. The fact that the Undertaker is still putting on great matches is a testament to the type of wrestler he is. When he started, he was all about the gimmick and was a terrible wrestler. As his gimmick evolved, so did his wrestling skills. I'm amazed that he's able to put on classic matches with younger, faster guys, and he keeps up with them. 4. I despise everything about Batista. I can understand why people don't like Cena's formulatic matches, but at least he doesn't botch spots like Batista does. The man is incredibly stale. 5. John Cena is much, much better than people give him credit for. Yes, his matches sometimes fall into the trap of having him defy the odds, but he still has damn fine matches and doesn't get enough credit. 6. I'm looking forward to the John Cena vs. Randy Orton Wrestlemania main event that seems imminent. They never got a proper blow off to their feud. Over the summer of 2007, Cena got injured, and then in early 2008, Cena segued into a feud with JBL while Orton feuded with Triple H. I've never been that impressed with their one-on-one matches, though, and I hope they pull out all the stops this year. 7. Shawn Michaels vs. the Undertaker has been a constant cock tease since 2007's Royal Rumble when they proved they still have amazing chemistry together. They should be facing off at this year's Wrestlemania, but I've been so impressed with the JBL vs. Shawn Michaels feud that it won't kill me if Taker/Michaels doesn't happen. I'm just hoping Michaels can pull out a good match from JBL. 8. The Royal Rumble match itself hasn't been anything over decent since 2005. I barely remember 2006, while 2007, 2008, and 2009 suffered from too many guys in the ring and dull eliminations. i.e. 2009, Mysterio and Knox eliminated each other off camera in an uneventful fashion when they could have gone out 15 minutes earlier and cleared the ring up more. All 2007 had going for it was a great finish, 2008 had Cena as a surprise entrant, and 2009 had a strong beginning and a few exciting spots. But overall, the last great Rumble match was 2005. 9. I'll never understand the fascination with vampire/gothic gimmicks. People go nuts over a Kevin Thorne or a Mordecai, but it's all about the gimmick. Thorne, for example, never had a single memorable match but people were disappointed he was let go and thought he had "potential," mainly because he had a vampire gimmick. I don't understand the desire for gothic gimmicks in wrestling. 10. Just because Hulk Hogan turned the WWF mainstream does not mean he should be allowed to return whenever he needs the cash. He is done and should stay retired. He never needs to wrestle in a WWE ring again. He has nothing to gain for it, and he has no need to go over anyone. On that same note, just because a wrestler is retiring doesn't mean they deserve a Championship to go out on. i.e. Shawn Michaels has had his time in the sun and while I'm sure they could build a good storyline out of it, does not need the WWE Championship anymore, and shouldn't get it just out of retirement.

-John Cena is exciting and entertaining, and should stay in the top tier of the WWE.
-Edge deserves his spot. As does Orton and Jeff Hardy.
-Jack Swagger kinda sucks.
-Triple H is still entertaining and relevant.
-Undertaker and Shawn Michaels might be at the end of their run, sadly.
-CM Punk is great and in my opinion carried the WHC pretty well this past summer.
-MVP should be a main eventing.
-Wrestling fans on the Internet overuse the words stale, bland, Godly and PG.

I am pleasantly surprised you guys and gals. I wanted to see if a thread like this would work on this forum and so far, other than a minor scuffle on the 3rd page, we've gone 4 pages without a hitch! Keep 'em coming

I like Michelle McCool and think she gets a bad rap for supposedly dating The Undertaker. In addition to that, I think she's fairly good in-ring.
Oh, and I'd also like to add that Triple H also gets a bad rap because he's married to Stephanie. He's incredibly good in th ring and his promos/mic work is spot on. IMO he's someone who actually deserves to be in the main event spot light.

Let's see...
1. The whole CM Punk vs Randy Orton thing on WrestlingFigs needs to stop. I don't know who started it, but it's intellectually- disabled. I love Orton, but I admit he has his faults. I'm not a huge fan of SM Punk, but I can see where people would like him. So, just stop it.
2. I hate when people make threads about WWE needing to be more "hardcore" again, and how they miss tables, chairs, and blood. Seriously, it's a wrestling show. God forbid we'd get by just watching the wrestling, right? You want chairs, tables, and blood? Watch an old school ECW show, or a CZW show.
3. No matter what anyone thinks, Christian is a great talent. Main event level? Not yet. But he's great on the mic, great in the ring, and just a well-rounded superstar. Maybe more well-rounded than Edge.
