I love United, i just wish we had a manager who looks at British youngsters aswell as foreigners, i really hoped we could get Bale, Hutton & in the future Agbonlahor but i doubt it will ever happen now. I could see Bale but not the other two, which to me is a shame as they are terrific footballers. Of course Ferguson looks at British talent. What about Rooney, Carrick, Hargreaves, Foster etc in recent years? The fact is buying British players is a lot more expensive and there's not enough good young English players coming through. United were monitoring Bale for ages by the way and probably put a bid in for him but Spurs got him in the end. We were interested in Hutton aswell if he hadn't of gone to Spurs we'd have probably gone for him in the summer. Agbonlahor for me's not United quality, yet anyway.

I know we were interested in both but we never made a real effort to take them before Spurs got them, and i knew you were going to mention those four. Foster was a find but the other three had to have a good season, a good Euro championships and a good World Cup before Fergie smelt summat. Plus Carrick & Hargreaves play similar roles in our team, i don't get why we had to have both at £20 mill each. Bale & Hutton would have been worth the punt, especially Hutton as i don't think Brown is the man to replace Neville tbh he has been good this season but watching Hutton play for the Scots against Italy and playing for Rangers, he was different class - i immediately got excited about the thought of Evra on the left and Al on the right. I just wish we were as forward with these players as we were with others.

I don't think Fergie went for Hutton because he know's Gary Neville's still got a couple of seasons in him (hopefully) and Wes is very good cover if he stays. Then there's Danny Simpson coming through. Imagine if we'd signed Hutton, Simpson wouldn't be in with a chance.

Simpson is decent it is just a case of whether or not he is able to be brilliant, a loan to a Premier League club for a season would do him the world of good or a winning/good form Championship side, he needs a good run of games before he can be judged but the flashes have been good.

Why don't you both shut up sock it to 'em. they're not over-rated, Bentley is over-rated! Bentley is quality, and he's shown it time, and time again. The fact that he's a ing wanker as a human being though is a different matter.

for Newcastle, King Kev's magic potion is not working imo and they are or could be on the verge of big trouble. Amazes me how people can critisize a manager after four ing games.

He has a lot to prove, i suppose all the hype surrounding him coming back has affected the impact he could of made without all the expectation behind him. At this moment they are six points off the relegation zone, i don't expect them to go down, that's crazy, but they need to get a win. Looking at their fixtures they have 12 very tough games ahead starting with United, it is hard to see where they will get their next win but when they get one they need to win the next and then build. Imo the game against Fulham is a must win, i can't see them picking much up in between now and that game, so they need to win it.

How the can you support two teams? Well i support Man U and then Spurs against anybody else other than us, basically. So today i as able to enjoy the 3-0 win Spurs got. And tomorrow i will be able to enjoy the 3-0 win over City. I enjoy watching Man U, Spurs & Villa. But Man United i have supported ever since i have known football existed. lmao, oh how you were wrong

City played well when they put us under pressure and we played well but just didn't have an end product to our attacks, we didn't challenge Hart enough, Benjani's goal was well taken after 3 corners in a row, really good pressure from City. Good game overall, went abit dead in the second half, City deserved the win. It appears we still need Rooney to be in the side to get goin. We need another striker imo, i'd like Ashton to come or Berbatov in the summer. Newcastle are goin to be killed when we face 'em next time out.

There wasn't one United player on that pitch I'd even consider say was 'decent'. Perhaps Carrick when he came on. Poor, poor peformance.

We did play well, Anderson & Ronaldo were pretty decent in the first half, tailed off in the second we just didn't have an end finish to our pressure. We may have had two pens in the first half, they were technically pens even if they weren't stonewall.
