If he does leave, you reckon Keane will be as effective?

dunno. to be honest, keane's been crap recently. 2 goals in 12. maybe a new partnership could spark him back in to life.

Berba will go but when he does Tottenham really need to replace him with another top-class striker. Bent hasnt been much good for Tottenham, Keanes off form and well thats it right?
Crouch maybe sine he's almost certainly leaving Liverpool?

Crouch maybe sine he's almost certainly leaving Liverpool? You can't really mention Bent seeing as he 's not had a full season of games. If Spurs give him the chance and play him consistently I'm sure he will start performing as he did at Charlton.

Doubt United will buy Berbatov, Fergie want a younger signing.

We're linked with Dani Alves again. £25m. :-|
He's worth about £15m-18m max, I reckon. Don't really know why we need him though. Suppose we'd play him as a winger. The way that he's playing at the moment, I'd choose Hutton over him at RB any day of the week.

Aye, imo that's stupid money for any full-back, a centreback maybe but £25 million on a player who plays in a position where you already have a player who (imo) does a better job, you can't play him on the wing, he's a full-back. Similar to the Bent transfer, don't buy players for positions where there isn't a problem. Their better off, as much as it buggers me to say it, signing Brown on a free, really really hope he doesn't go but unless he signs quick, Fergie will just look for someone else - Neville coming back won't replace Brown as we will need reliable cover should, as i expect, Neville not come back to good form when he is fully back in the starting team every week. Watching this Chelsea match, zzzzzzzzzzzzzz , i know they're facing Wigan but nothing is happening.

The only reason it's rumoured as £25m is because of the whole Ramos/Del Nido fallout.

Well, it would be the same price for United, Chelsea or Madrid, that's just football, clubs with money get jacked up prices, Spurs have splashed some cash in the past couple of years, not had the same success as the other "big" teams but they have come across as a "big" team in the past couple of years, alot of clubs especially abroad exploit that all too often with English clubs in particular.

What the are you on about? Sevilla know we're not nearly as big as clubs like United/Chelsea. The rumoured price wouldn't be nearly as much as £25m if it wasn't for the whole Ramos situation, that's what makes the rumour what it is. This has nothing to do with being a 'big club' or what we've spent in the past few seasons. Read up, or stay off the subject.

This has nothing to do with being a 'big club' or what we've spent in the past few seasons. Read up, or stay off the subject. I know Spurs are not as big as those two teams, English teams pay more money than anyone tho, Spurs are in my view the 5th "top" team in the league, they haven't had a good season but they are still a top team. The top teams pay more money. The Ramos thing has hindered Spurs but if they got a different manager in, say Jose for instance, prices would still be the same. Sevilla see Spurs as a threat to them, in the Uefa cup they have met before and could do again in either the Uefa cup or Champions League in the future. Dani Alves is considered to be by many, the best full back around, i don't believe that but some do, Sevilla would say that he is, they own him and want to make as much money on him as they can. If he is touted to be the best right-back around, then of course Sevilla will say we want that amount for him.

The worst thing about Vettel is that he can't see his own ignorance.
