Can't wait for such an interesting game!
Why's the score in the bottom left?

Despite Chelsea's best efforts to ruin the game it's been quite a good match. Hopefully Nani comes on for the 2nd half.

Don't understand why United put such a strong team out. I didn't know the Charity Shield meant that much to them. Still, only managed a draw against probably one of the weakest Sides we could put out.

You tried to put out you're best, but had injuries

LOL Yes we did put out a strong team but it was far from our best team, You on the other hand put out the best team available to you, Everyone else was injured and Pizarro was only fit enough to play 45 minutes. Just because it's only for the Charity shield doesn't mean we don't want to win it, Every team wants to go out there and win every game they play, why would they want to lose?

When it came down to both Teams putting out their Strongest Side, at the FA Cup Final, Chelsea won. That seems to be forgotten about already now. I'd hardly call a back four of Ben Haim, Glen Johnson, Carvalho and Diarra good enough to stop the likes of Rooney, Ronaldo, Nani, Giggs etc. Still managed a draw though.
Pens were awful. Should have a solid Side once the likes of Ballack, Drogba, Terry, Shevchenko, Robben, Ferreira come back. Big loss with no Alex, big miss that will be.

Yep you won a dire FA Cup final after we had a goal wrongly ruled out, well done but that's last season. Your back 4 was Cole, Carvalho, Ben Haim and Johnson and i'd say that 3 of those would be in your first choice back 4. You seem to forget that we were playing O'Shea, Silvestre and Brown who will be nowhere near our first team this season. Both teams but out good teams and they were very even.

Don't understand why United put such a strong team out. Perhaps because it's the only oppurtunity to test their fitness in a competitive match before the season starts. Bloody hell, what stupid comment. It'd be a bit pointless playing the youth team when your playing the first game of the season in exactly a weeks time.

Knew when it went to penos Chelsea would lose dunno what it is about penalties!!! Was impressed by Malouda and a draw was a fair result really, game obviously won't have any impact on the season though. Hopefully Alex and a right back are signed

Wasn't a bad game.
Disappointed we lost.
Malouda's goal was quality: him out-muscling Ferdinand was good to see, and the finish was great. Giggs took his goal well, too, tbh - but I think our defending let us down.
