Six Flags doesn't suprise me at all. The park in Atlanta is a ****hole. Lousiville isn't too bad but not much better.

If Krispy Kreme and Sirius go under at the same time I will go postal. If I can't get sugary donuts and commercial free music, what is the point in living?

Six Flags in Atlanta used to be a really nice park in the 70s and 80s in Atlanta. But they have terrible management, and the park is run on such a low budget, and has been since the 90s. It's dirty and filthy everywhere. Now the only people you see there are ghetto teenagers and the occassional family who doesn't know better because they remember it being nice back then. The rides are always broken, and the park is nasty and disgusting. I have fond memories of the place, but i think they deserve to go under.
Blockbuster has actually survived a lot longer than I thought they would. I work there in the 90s, and thought they didn't have much longer once DVDs came out, and exclusive rental windows for movies were gone. You guys may not remember, but you used to only be able to rent movies for the first several months after their release.
Krispy Kreme is the only thing there that would be heartbreaking.

Yeah those were the days. We really had a great thing going with the online subscription until the new CEO came in and decided that bundle packages were a bad idea. I'm not entirely sure why but I bolstered my ass and almost got fired but I was able to maintain some decency for the online program, but only for the stores in the Monterey, CA area. Every other store in CA has to follow guidelines put forth from last year but the Monterey, CA area has a special arrangement somewhat thanks to me where the members that sign up there or use their store code get special deals becaused those stores still promised them. It really does suck, but I will say that Blockbuster isn't operating in the red by any means. I do feel though that we should close more stores. I mean we have 4 stores in one part of Sac, Ca where I live where together they don't make as much as one of the major stores that I help run from time to time as a favor to the store manager since she is a friend.

..and i was planning on getting a Job at BlockBuster next year You probably have a good chance to get one this year as long as you understand that having an open schedule is better than having a closed one based on school hours.

Rite Aid, the top one to go down, scares me. My dad is a manager.
For the past 30 years.

That's a shame. Claire's is a mall staple. Six Flags will be a loss. I rent from Family Video, so I'm not too bothered by BBust.

Six Flags being on this list is a bit undeserving. The company has been having trouble for a few years now.

Family Video is a decent company I will admit but I don't see us falling out before them. Claire's days have been numbered for a while. I was a temp stock manager for them due to connections with an employee and seriously saw how sad their system was.
