I am the creator of Action News, Tony Schiovane and everyday, I'll be dropping in little bits of information. - It seems as though the IWOW will be taking in a lot of ECW alumni, looking at the state of the Extreme Championship tournament. Time will tell if these alumni will be here to stay after the tournament has ended. - Rumours have it that Edge & Christian have gained a bit of popularity among the Internet Wrestling Community. The community are now calling the former Suicide Blondes the best thing since Brock Lesnar signed. Coincidentally this was all last week. - Teddy Hart's contract is at the end of its run, it expires sometime before Christmas, will Hart extend his contract within the next four days? - Umaga injured his lower back in a match with Harry Smith at a live event last Tuesday night. He seems to be going through what Shawn Michaels went through in early 1998. This will push back the Monsters from being on Restless. - Icy Thrill is coming up, December 31st. The month after, it's time for Rush Hour. That will be held on Sunday, January 27th and is going to be headlined by a 30-man Royal Rumble. The winner will then go on and face the runner-up at Area 51 in February inside what is known as a Climax Cage match. The structure is currently in development and is expected to be an average Elimination Chamber and Hell In A Cell match combined. The man who wins that will go to Spotlight '08 in late April and if they win, they sure as hell deserve it. - It has been reported that Ride of Your Life tagged a 1.09 rating. Restless #9 brought on a 5.12. -IWOW has signed a deal with NJPW (New Japan Pro Wrestling). To coincide with this, Drive-By's name will be changed to Tokyo Terror, the show is expected to be held in the Tokyo Dome and the main event should be the IWOW Heavyweight Champion (whoever that may be) against two Japanese stars and another IWOW member in a four-corner elimination match. Restless #13 will be held in Korakuen Hall, Tokyo, Japan on January 31st. This will mainly be because of the fact IWOW will be going head-to-head with NJPW on a show on the 1st of February. - IWOW is now sponsored by Kentucky Fried Chicken. The old sponsor (Wendy's) believed that the current risk used in IWOW was over-the-top. In return, IWOW owner David Cook stated that "There is nothing wrong with today's wrestling style. People get hurt, they get hurt. The whole point of having a wrestling promotion is if the fans like the originality of it". David went on to say that: "The reason we have all of these stars is because they wanted to join but the reason why was because they liked the originality of the product". - IWOW has opened a training camp, Camp Luchadore. The trainer is Rey Mysterio Sr. and the class of 2007/2008 will graduate December 2008. - IWOW Magazine is on shelves everywhere as of today. - IWOW's current finance is just over $53 Million. - There is to be a certain major TV star debuting in the company soon. IWOW have said that he will not be another David Arquette and that he will only be around to manage a top-profile star. Time will tell who it is. - IWOW Restless is now going to be held on Spike TV from 8pm to 10pm CT. IWOW Magma is now going to be held on MTV from 7pm to 8pm CT. The reason for the change was because Sky Sports UK and USA Network only signed for a 4 month contract. The deal was signed on September 20th meaning that the deal expired yesterday and apparently USA Network forgot to re-sign whereas Sky Sports disliked the show since day one. Due to this, IWOW shoved WWE out of their time slot over to Saturdays and Mondays at 11pm for the entire 4 months. - IWOW's ratings over the last nine Restless shows have come into chart form. Here is what they look like: The US ratings seemed to be a lot more popular throughout the first few weeks, dropping a little but ending on a high note. The UK ratings were a lot more crueler. The show had a great premiere week but dropped dramatically by Restless #2. Eventually the series on Sky Sports ended on a sour note. - IWOW has began negotiating with TWC Fight! In the UK. That's all for today, see you tomorrow, Tony Schiavone.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- AOL: Wrestlingfigs.com Action News - Hot News and Rumours from IWOW! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm back, Tony Schiavone here and Action News will be on every Sunday night!
- IWOW has officially signed a sponsorship deal with Viacom Inc.
- IWOW Restless #10 attached a 6.42. IWOW Restless #11 got a 5.37 which is pretty good for a Primetime show to air on Christmas Eve. Restless #12: Icy Thrill got a high score of 8.41, extremely good for a show on Primetime on New Years Eve. And finally Restless #13 collected a 5.99. The network are extremely pleased with the ratings and IWOW have been asked to make Magma on Spike TV also. Magma will begin airing on Spike TV on Saturday mornings and will be replaying on Wednesday morning along with the one-hour edition of Restless.
- As announced, there will be four new stars debuting at Rush Hour's Royal Rumble match. Wouldn't it be great to see a new guy show up and win the Rush Hour battle royal?
- IWOW are planning a draft following Spotlight 2008. This will probably bring Magma as competition to Restless.
- The board of directors at IWOW will be unveiling their head boss on Restless #14.
- Area 51 has been dropped from the IWOW pay-per-view schedule. This leaves 8 pay-per-views left on the calendar. The IWOW Tokyo Drift will replace this on February 24th in the Tokyo Dome.
- It is expected that the IWOW Heavyweight Champion will face the IWGP World Heavyweight Champion.
- Also expected for Tokyo Drift is for Rey Mysterio to face the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion. Also booked definately is IWOW Tag Champions the Briscoe Brothers facing the IWGP Tag Champions at the time.
- No titles will be on the line at Tokyo Drift. The deal is 90% complete but the IWOW are still a little unsure whether they trust NJPW or not.
- Another thing, the IWOW vs. NJPW feud will not be shown on Restless or Magma. Instead it will be a one night only deal due to the fact they'd be having around 20 people jumping to the States from Japan and visa versa.
- Billy Kidman has re-signed his contract.
- Mike Mizanin has signed a contract.
- Elijah Burke is set to debut after Rush Hour
- Spotlight is set to have a massive card. IWOW has scheduled Spotlight to be held in the FedEx Field; Landover, Maryland. The show will contain every single IWOW star. There is a two hour edition of Magma prior to the event and the actual show is set to have 10 matches throughout the 4 hour show. Tickets go on sale January 19th and the timing has been laid out:
9am: Coach will pick premium ticket holders up from the hotel, whereas Bronze ticket holders will be brought by limousine. Average ticket holders will have to drive to the arena before 9:30.
10:00am: The arena will open.
10:30: A fan axxess like show will be held until 12:30.
1:00pm: Magma will begin.
3:00pm: Magma ends and fans have a small break.
3:30pm: Spotlight begins.
7:30pm: Spotlight ends, mini fan-axxess excluding main eventers.
8:00pm: Coachs, limousines will arrive.
It will be a spectacular day in Landover on March 30th.
- Kenta Kobashi and Kurt Angle had a heated conversation at an airport on Wednesday morning. Angle was on his way to Impact in London where Kobashi was heading to Restless in Michigan.
- Tommy Dreamer was attacked at a night club on Wednesday night. He was originally going to be Raven's opponent in the Gym Class Hell match but was hurt.
- Restless #14 is planned to be great with Hollywood Hogan facing Ric Flair, 14 years on since their WCW matches.
Good night everybody,
Tony Schiavone

BREAKING NEWS! Posted by: 'Mr. MOD' Prince Victorious today at 21:04
In breaking news, today IWOW board of director member Eric Bischoff attempted to sign HWA star JC Bailey to a written and exclusive contract. This was to mean that JC Bailey could and would not be able to wrestle in HWA again. The extremist, former CZW Tournament of Death winner replied with an offense. He trashed IWOW and praised HWA, calling IWOW too uncaring for its Extreme Championship division.
IWOW has since began to know of this independent promotion and has released a statement on their corporate site. It has since been taken down due to controversy among other things and the company has challenged the HWA to a war. It is yet to be decided if HWA will respond to the war and accept or decline. Stay posted.
