simple custom ring idea, thx to tooshort4 for the idea... 1. Buy a cheap good size board game. 2. Take the top and bottom of the box, and sit them side by side and tape them together. To make a square. 3. Take the baord game part, and put that upside down to fit ontop of the base. tape/glue/ect. it onto the base. 4. drill/cut a hole in each corner of the ring. 5. Take 4 sar/hardcore ring posts, and stick them in the holes. 6. Find a way to keep them from coming out. 7. add anything extra...such as some wood or something under the ring for extra support. 8. add the ropes and ur done. I know it's simple, but thats the piont I may actually do this

Hey, I plan on making a custom ring, the base for the ring is made of leftover wood from a Computer desk set, would this be too hard and if so will I need a certain cloth to soften it a bit?

You should pad your ring with $.50 sheets of foam at Wal-Mart (available in the arts & crafts section) and then cover that with some cloth (also available in the arts & crafts section) to act as a canvas. Your ring would then be soft enough for figs. No more loud thudding sounds when you drop them on the mat.

I posted this before but in the wrong thread so hopefully I can get help here now that this is the right thread: I believe this goes here, anways: A few years ago my dad helped me make an AMAZING titan tron out of stuff in our garage. Unfortunately, when I took a hiatus from wrestling I took it a part and threw it out because I thought I'd never use it again. The vertical part was made out of wood and had all these different panels and stuff which I know how to make again but the ramp and stage part were made out of this metal sheet that had tons of tiny holes in it and we bent it to stand up...it looked really good. Anyways, I have no clue what it was and my dad has no clue what it was exactly for or where he got it (he thinks Home Depot but isn't sure...he works on refridgeration and air conditioning so he had it from that) so I have no clue where to buy a piece like that again. So does anyone know what I am talking about or where I can find it? Also, since it was metal I had to be careful to not chip the paint of figures so does anyone know what I could do to it to make it from scratching off paint or know of something else instead of the piece of metal that would look really realistic? Found a picture on google of what it was but doesn't say what it is:

I have made a custom RSR but i for the turnbuckles, i just drilled holes in the corners and stuck the posts off the WCW Nitro ringin. Well i was thinking of redoing it and making it more like the real thing, and was going to attach thin metal post to a bas for corners. So i would like to know the distance from the top to bottom of the legs on the Jakks ring, and also the same for the actual posts (ring mat to top of corner post). And how could i stick them to corners of some wood, without the risk of the falling off. Here's a little diagram to explain more; The '?' marks are the distances i want to know, and try to be as accurate as possible. And one last thing, like nWo 4 Life said, what could be used for turnbuckle covers.
