I'm surprised Lorenzo has kept it together so far today and hasn't condemned Sabathia yet.

I'm surprised Lorenzo has kept it together so far today and hasn't condemned Sabathia yet. What am I supposed to say? It's his first start, he's obviously nervous, and based on what they are saying on YES he's probably hurt. It seems like he's got some sort of abdominal strain, so clearly from playing baseball I know any middle body discomfort makes it impossible to pitch. Top of the 5th, he's given up 3 runs, it could have been worse considering the trouble he was in in the 1st inning, but I want the Yankees to score runs. But I mean, after winning 18 out of their last 20 Spring Training Games and hitting 7 home runs in 2 days at Yankee Stadium is anybody actually surprised that they can't hit today? I was at that stadium on Saturday and as I watched all those home runs leave the park I said to myself "they will NOT score on Monday" and so far I'm right.

the reds offense is going to be the death of me. What about their defense? They were sloppy out there today, probably because of the field conditions. mcdonald made his first and probably last start and taveras may not be much but he covers good ground in the outfield. the defense with dickerson and taveras starting over hairston and mcdonald will improve, it's the offense that will struggle to score more than 2-3 runs a game.

The only abdominal strain that CC has is from breakfast this morning.

I just think CC blew a big one today. Nothing wrong with that, it's only his first start of the season.

CC looked ing awful today. Hopefully he's not hurt and this was just being nervous. Hopefully they can come back in the this game, or come back strong tomorrow. I really hope the Yankees don't completely suck the first month again, I am not sure I can watch that again. They kick ass in the spring, then choke as soon as the first pitch is thrown.

Let CC get all his jitters out now. Every start is important in its own way, but this one wont matter in a week.

Baltimore has a fantastic offense, gonna put up a TON of runs, but their pitching is going to give up just as many

Texas has a MUCH better pitching staff than Baltimore's its not even close, and that says a lot about Baltimore

Yankees are going to win this game. I knew that when it was 6-1 because the O's can never keep a lead.
EDIT: Pirates win.
Maybe I was wrong. 8-5 O's.
