Just had a game with Teh Duderino. I lost 21-12. The game was a lot closer than the score lets on though. Even he'd agree. I completely shut down his running game other than one or two runs, and he couldn't stop my passing down the middle.

Did this happen to anyone else?

I was doing franchise and during the 2010-2011 season draft there was a quarterback named 'Tim Terbow' from Florida. Did this happen to anyone else? I didn't catch that if it was in my game. Keep in mind, I just did my 2011-2012 draft last night so...yeah. Anyways...I won the Super Bowl for the 2010-2011 season. Yay! ;D Season notes (played on All-Pro): - Came into the season the defending Super Bowl champs (defeated the Carolina Panthers in Super Bowl XLIV), finishing the previous season 12-4
- With their first pick in they chose an defensive lineman due to the loss of Keisel to free agency
- Rookie QB John Davis started the first two games of the regular season due to an injury to Ben Roethlisberger, in which he had 5 TD's, no picks and was not sacked once (he finished with 6 TD's on the year after week 17)
- Ben Roethlisberger had 41 TD's and 14 picks, 3000+ yards and he was sacked 14 times all in 14 games with him not starting the first two games due to injury
- Willie Parker was named NFL Running Back of the Year for the second straight season with a total of 1400+ yards and 12 TD's
- Leading reciever was Hines Ward, with 600+ yards and 9 TD's
- Leading tackler was James Farrior (I think...it might have been Woodly or Harrison...I forget )
- Leading sacker(s) were Ike Taylor, James Harrison and Lamarr Woodly (5 each)
- Leading picker was Ryan Clark (I think)
- Finished the regular season with a league high 500 points even scored
- Finished the regular season with a league best 14-2 record (losses to the Bengals and Ravens; 1 each), with games against the AFC East, NFC South and the odd game against the San Diego Chargers and the Indinapolis Colts
- The Pittsburgh Steelers representing the franchise in the Pro-Bowl were Ben Roethlisberger, Willie Parker, Justin Hartwig and Ike Taylor
- The team MVP was Ben Roethlisberger while the team Rookie MVP was John Davis (the LEAGUE MVP was Drew Brees; 4,000+ yards, 46 TD's and 9 picks)
- Defeated the San Diego Chargers in the Divisional round and the Tennessee Titans in the Championship round en route to Super Bowl XLV (Other AFC playoff teams were the Patriots, Ravens and Texans)
- In the NFC, the Dallas Cowboys (10-6 in the regular season) defeated the Detroit Lions and the Philadelphia Eagles en route to Super Bowl XLV (Other NFC playoff teams were the Redskins, Panthers and the Rams)
- The Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the Dallas Cowboys IN Dallas to claim their 8th Super Bowl title, their 3rd straight
- Cowboys fans protested that they lost the game because Tony Romo went down in the 1st quarter with an injury that kept him out for the rest of the game, with Jon Kitna replacing him
- The Super Bowl XLV MVP was MLB Lawrence Timmons who recorded two key picks and 4 tackles during the game
- Within the first week of the off season, no key players left the squad (Batch and Carter retired, Fox left) and all others re-signed meaning that the entire team that won the title last season will be back once more to try to claim their 4th straight Super Bowl title, their 9th total
;D

I'm an MLB in superstar mode for the Dolphins. In my rookie year I'm defensive rookie of the year and lead the league in sacks, and the next year I'm Defensive MVP of the year.

I am the quarterback for the Houston Texans in my rookie year, and I have almost 2,000 yards in three games. Yes, I am playing Superstar mode on rookie difficulty. It is just way too fun! ;D

In Madden 09 for the hell of it I was rookie QB for the Bills, won MVP, Rookie of the Year, and Super Bowl MVP in my rookie year. In real life though, I'm a MLB for my varisty high school team, so I love being a LB in superstar mode, and creating myself in franchise.

When I play in real life (just with my Youth Group...but it's usually a big group), I'm usually the QB for my side when we're on offense mainly because I can't even catch a flight to Philly. I catch one pass out of every, maybe, twenty that are thrown my way. But hey, at least when I give up QB for a few plays, I get wide open just in case. On the opposite side of the ball, basically everyone plays CB, but with my size and frame, I'd consider myself more of a linebacker, honestly. (6'0, 245 lbs ) But BACK on topic, yeah. I should probably start one as a linebacker. That might be kind of fun too.

You can never win a starting job on defense when your on the Cardinals. BTW, I'm 5'5 250 and I'm still better then you.

However; yeah, luckily the guy hasn't been drafted by the Cards...I can imagine how hard it would be to earn the starting spot there.

You're jealous of the guy leading his team in tackles and sacks and 2nd on the team in INT and Defensive touchdowns. Yes, I'm a ing bester. It's not that I have trouble passing the guys on the Cards overalls, but the depth chart never updates.

Is there any way to avoid simming games in franchise mode, particularly if you select all teams? As soon as I try to play a 1:00pm game, it sims all the other 1:00pm games for the day. Any way to avoid this?

Got it for Christmas, just got done playing my first game on it.
Dallas Cowboys d. Washington Redskins 70-35. Marion Barber runs for an NFL Record 333 yards, 388 total yards. Romo was the leading receiver with 77 yards, and the only Cowboys INT was thrown by Roy Williams. Cowboys set an NFL record with 789 total yards.
You can probably tell I love the Wildcat.

I also got the game for Christmas and love it. Started my Franchise on it Saturday after playing a bunch of games to get into the game. Went 3-1 in preseason and 1-0 so far in the regular season with the Cowboys. Would have gone perfect in preseason had it not been for Kitna throwing a bunch of INTs to setup short field position for the Vikings.

I wish the Giants had the Wildcat. ;( Just switch your playbook to Miami Dolphins. Got it for Christmas and started a season with the Vikings. 1-0 so far. Beat the Browns 28-10. I would've blown them out, but since I'm playing on all-pro, I keep turning over the ball. Got it for Christmas, just got done playing my first game on it. Dallas Cowboys d. Its like impossible to score 70 points for me on all-pro.
