Yeah, but the fumble pile thing is like a mini-game. I hate that. It's interactive but doesn't fit the sim style thir trying to achieve. If they want to do simulation I think they should just simply make a attribute for it. Call it like aggression. More aggression means you can perform better like your more physical at your position but you can cause more penalties for your team. So you guys would rather have it essentially be a toss-up? I mean, I understand your point about it not being very true to the sport (depending on how it works), but I would much rather have it be a stupid mini-game where the winner is chosen by winning as opposed to what essentially boils down to a coinflip.

They might say they wanna make it a sim, but they don't really. There's a reason NFL Head Coach will never sell; total-sim football is boring as crap.

I see nobody here follows the developers' posts on Operation Sports, eh? The button-mash wasn't finalized when the news was released this past week. These changes have been made to the fumble pile-up feature: 1. Add a on/off option to the settings screens for the button masher. If it's off, the fumble is recovered through some CPU logic of which players get there first 3. Add support for the meter to disappear at a specified time based on skill level. Meaning, that on All-Pro or All-Madden, the button callout will still stay on screen to show you how to fight for the fumble, but the "meter" will disappear to give more suspense. On lower skill levels, the meter can stay up the whole time. 4. Give bonuses to make sure that the first person on the ball starts out 'winning' the meter 5. Tune all the animations to make sure that the pileup only triggers in the obvious situation where multiple people dove on it at once. If you fall on it and it looks like you have possession, then you should retain possession with no fumble pileup. --- Not yet added, and it remains to be seen if these will make it in. 2. Make the meter more minimalistic - take it off the field and integrate it into the ticker at the bottom of the screen. 6. Change the camera(s) to be much tighter and more 'broadcast'. Thats true but if your pressing buttons and you got Devin Hester fighting over the ball over Albert Haynesworth each at the bottom of the pile and you just press all the buttons correctly and Hester gets it...That's far fetched too.

I THINK, I'm not 100% sure but it's based on the player's aggression and so I mean in real life I'm pretty sure Haynesworth is more aggressive than Hester. But don't take my word on that, I read it somewhere but unsure if it's a rumour or real.

If you were to play as hester and get all the buttons correctly pressed and basically out wrestle haynesworth is very very far fetched.

But do you really think Haynesworth is going to be dicked to actually jump in on a fumble pile?

But do you really think Haynesworth is going to be dicked to actually jump in on a fumble pile? With all the money he has guaranteed in Washington, he isn't going to be dicked to do much.

But do you really think Haynesworth is going to be dicked to actually jump in on a fumble pile? Well he'd defiantly win if he say tackled him and they were at the bottom. So I defiantly think he would regardless.

Some new info;
All sounds pretty good. I'm loving that they are really focusing on the minor details now, while still makes bigger changes.

Noone like that ****ty thing. Really? I loved it. I thought it was great to have it automatically adjust the difficulty. Before 09 I was never all too good at Madden games--like I always had to keep adjusting the sliders to make things easier--but with the IQ I slowly got better and better because it kept slowly adjusting and making itself increasingly trickier. At this point either 2 or 3/4s of the bars are on All-Madden. I'm glad they're keeping it in.

It's funny, if your Passing is down, and you improve it, your run will go down, it's impossible to keep all of them where they're at unless you're the perfect Madden player. It got to the point where I found All-Pro WAY to easy, but I tried All-Madden and would get picked off in a ridiculous way by a LB or I would get sacked or lose yard on a run by a Defensive linemen magically coming off his block to get me. I think I'm a good defensive player when it comes to picking plays, I only blitz maybe 3 times a whole game, I called good plays on All-Madden and the QB would still have a perfect game. I even went as low as to blitzing alot, and he STILL had no problem completing passes or handing it off to the RB.
