@3nwpro After we talked of MFKR, I started reading up on Anders. The dude is really good. His "newer" One Pale Horse stuff he released for free was great. I got to see the video for his Paul tribute song, and it shows he has some range. I read he is in Painface now, which I remembered is an old Slipknot members OG band. Can't wait to hear some of that. I think Anders reminds me of Jamey Jasta, but with a bit of melody to his tunes, vs the harcore style. What are your thought on Anders? I know you said it was not as good with him in Slipknot vs Corey (Corey is definetely great with the emotional range and melody), but do you like him overall?
Have a good one bud.

VPV Thanks for the tag bud. I'll admit I haven't heard too much of Anders' stuff apart from the really early stuff, but yeah, I dug his style for sure. Oh, I meant purely as 'MFKR' to the self-titled made it seem like they were two different bands, much like Pantera between 'Power Metal' and 'Cowboys...' Haven't really heard much Painface, I'll admit. Have a good one too bud - thanks again for tagging me. How about you? What are you listening to mainly right now? Hell, what's everyone listening to? What are you digging? Any gigs coming up? Thanks for replying man. I am listening to so many different genres lately, but for metal, I have been listening to a bit of Mudvayne, RA, and Unloco. No gigs in my area, sadly, but there is a new Flaw album to buy, so that rules. Everday is a new album driving to work. After your talk of Pantera, I am going to have to pull out some Damageplan today....love that album. I am starting to dig into the older metal catalogues of members of bands, and all their current side bands. I like discovering some underground stuff of old that I had not heard before. Also, wanting to check out Lethal Wilson (DJ Lethal and Sid Wilson's group), sounds like a dream come true. Hope all is well. Have a good one man. VPV

@3nwpro
Motograter is cool. I own their album, and really dug them when I was younger. In the past couple of years, I kind of forgot about them. I need to dig that out and enjoy it again. Nu-metal will forever be my jam.
Pantera should have reunited. Could have brought a lot of eyes back to the genre.
Black metal was always a bit harder than I like, but makes for a real great documentary. Interesting back stories with the leading acts.
I always find different styles are great for different moods. You have killer taste.
Take it easy man.

... I'd like to say how much I appreciate everyone's tastes and posts in here. Cheers fellas! \m/ ...edit... That 80s Guy surprising me by liking the Misery video - they were perhaps the heaviest and more extreme Australian metal bands during the '90's for me...had the pleasure of seeing them several times in my teens when they toured Sydney and Canberra. -- That's pretty neat. Yeah, the flange and slight delay effect, I've always found, to be unique in certain instances. I remember listening to Misery several times growing up back then, so indeed it was a nice surprise to see/hear again (: \m/
