Today my friend and I went to see Bruno - Snipped. I had I.D on me to prove I am 15 (Almost 16 ) and he is 16, 17 in October. We both look our age almost perfectly. I showed my I.D but my friend was not allowed in due to not having I.D when he is clearly over 15. We ended up seeing Ice Age 3 - 3D (Harry Potter had already started) which was average. I really wanted to see Bruno and was dissapointed at the lack of understanding. Thoughts? And have you ever been turned away from a movie unfairly?

You'll find that when you get an ID at 17 that allows you into R films, you will never be carded.

And the people that work at my theatre are really stupid, I just sneak in to movies, never had to show I.D.

Yeah I always thought it was weird. Up until I turned 17 I was always carded. Luckily they really didnt care too much. But after I turned 17 I was never asked for my ID.

i remember back when harold and kumar 2 came out, me and my boy got in the right spirit for the movie and decided to go to it. He got his liscense a few weeks before, and I got mine like a week after it came out so I had no real ID. We get up and he buys his ticket no problem, no ID even. I get up there and promptly am asked for my ID, I have a in beard and my boys clean shaven. I tell them i don't have a formal ID, so i pull out my school ID. She's like "this isn't good enough" and I fire back with "You have to be atleast 17 to normally be a senior in HS, most people turn 18 while they're in HS, and according to the MPAA you need to be 17 to enter an R rated movie, which I am" she goes back to her broken record sh*t. and im like fine gimme a ticket to 21. I walk in and the people there are eyeing my like vultures making sure i dont go into harold and kumar. I walk to the bathroom, remove my hat and walk out and into harold and kumar. in amazing movie

I think the whole ID situtation is ridiculious. Children can see much worse things by just watching the news.

I am seventeen-years old, but the clerks wouldn't let me into Bruno because I didn't have an ID. I thought fast, bought a ticket to see Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs 3D, and snuck into the theater showing Bruno when no one was looking.

Get a in' I.D. Seriously. I've only been carded for opening night at Saw IV which was a sold out show.. oh and I also was carded for Adventureland, but only because I brought my brothers who are underage.

We thought of sneaking in but they had someone outside the door of Bruno because it was so in the spotlight that the cinema were afraid of being caught letting sneaking into it. First time I've ever seen people at the door of a 15

I remember when I was about 15(almost 16) my Uncle dropped my cousin and I off at the local 6-plex movie theater. The idea was that we were going to see the movie 'The Jackal' starring Bruce Willis that just so happened to be rated R, so my Uncle decided to go inside and purchase the tickets for us since we were legally underage. He explained to them who the tickets were for and they didn't seem to have an issue with that at all. My Uncle handed us the tickets, left the building and as we made our way over to the ticket taker the old biddy who was taking the tickets told us " You two are not old enough to see this movie, I will not allow you to enter the screen room without a guardian." her and her ing morals! We told her EVERYTHING and she still wouldn't let us past the gate. We were powerless so we had no choice but to exchange the damn tickets for that ing stupid Mr. Bean movie. We did return the next day with my dad to see the film and rubbed it right in that bitches face which was awesome!
