Judge, did you ask the seller what else he had tucked away and/or pics of his other hasbros ? Would love to know wha else he has... also maybe he could shed some light on the Orange cards if he worked for hasbro ? How amazing would it be if he had protos of the unreleased Orange cards.... I asked what else he had and he said he wasn't 100% as he was going through boxes of things bit by bit - but seemed sure there may be more to come.... apparently when he finished at Hasbro he had loads of things that he put in his basement for storage, and now he has ran out of space so is opening boxes bit by bit, listing them and selling them on ebay. Other items he listed included lots of rare boxed GI Joe items. I will ask him about the other planned Hasbro lines and see what he says, I already asked him twice if he found anymore WWF protos ;D Imagine if he pulled out the Rhythm and Blues Valentine! Thats great Judge !!! Keep us all updated, i'm sure you will anyway

THIS IS A GREAT DAY!!! This guy could bring us answers and show us things we have BEEN waiting for ALMOST 20 YEARS!!!! He used to work in the model shop, he built and painted the prototypes based upon the design department specs(im assuming those artist rendition papers, that we have seen before on this board). He doesn't remember much. He worked on soooo many things during his time. From playskool to gi joe to wwf. HE HAS TO JOIN THIS BOARD!!! i will drop him another line.

Excellent - I hope he confirms some of the figures that may have been made after the series ended...

A terrific addition to your collection! I'm curious to see if the seller does have more prototypes and who they might be. Can you say $$$$$$$ for the unreleased Shawn .

Great addition, Judge! Chances are we both know the same guy who sold this wonderful piece to you. I'd like to keep his identity private but he has assured me he has tons of more drawings and prototypes stored away. He offered them to me many years ago but I haven't been able to make it out to Rhode Island. A very nice guy and a great artist!

This is awesome. I always loved the way the figures looked in magazines, the display figures always had the flat paint look to them. I would love to see Hulk Hogan from series 5 because the figure is so pal but the display figure was so tan.

Unfortunately that particular seller doesn't have the Series 5 Hogan proto, it's in someone else's collection.

Actually I contacted the person who I thought it was and it is not the Ebay seller. He still has all of his stuff packed away, I've arranged to make a trip out to RI to attain the stuff he doesn't want. I offered him a nice amount of money for his GI Joe and WWF prototypes, production notes, & sketches. I'll update this thread when I get them.

How did you end up with a £15 customs fee ? I mean yeah you paid £130-£140ish for the figure But it was your bid that set the value... If the seller put say £10 on the customs form as the value you would of not had a fee... and i'm certain a customs officer wouldn't of thought other wise with the value... anyway... Really looking forward in seeing the pics
