October Week 1
This week on Monday Night Raw, the contract will be signed for Halloween Havoc as WWE Champion Triple H and new Number One Contender Chris Jericho ready themselves for their Final Encounter Match!
Also, The Miz will once again defend his United States Championship against the former Champion, Legacy's newest member, Carlito!
Raw's newest Superstar will make his debut this week as we see what Sheamus O'Shaunessy can do inside the ring!
Lastly, a new Number One Contender for the United States Championship will be crowned for Halloween Havoc as several Raw Superstars step into the ring for an over-the-top-rope Battle Royal. Participants will include: Matt Hardy, Goldust, Chavo Guerrero, Kofi Kingston, Evan Bourne, Cryme Time, and more!
On the cusps of what's sure to be a history making No Mercy, the SmackDown! roster will be on hand to give us a big preview of what may happen on Sunday!
With No Mercy's main event on the line, GM Teddy Long has made a match where Edge will put his Number One Contendership on the line against the main who knocked him out in the Masterlock last week, the Intercontinental Champion, Chris Masters!
Also, the Tag Team Champions MVP & Shelton Benjamin will be in non-title action, taking on the Hart Dynasty. Cody Rhodes and Ted Dibiase from Raw will be on hand for the show, will they have any impact on the Champions' performance?
And, Kane will go one-on-one with Elijah Burke as the ECW Champion John Morrison watches from ringside as the two Number One Contenders do battle in a preview for Sunday!
Tune in for all this and much more from WWE this week!

WWE has come to terms on the release of Curt Hawkins. We wish him the best in his future endeavors.
Other notes:
FCW Wrestler Miguel De La Cruz has been continuously impressing agents and fans alike. Word is he will be called up soon. Having wrestled along side and against SmackDown!'s JP Deadly many times in the past, there is a huge chance he will go to SmackDown!
Processed by Vince McMahon, himself, this past month, a big secret return is expected to happen. This will be a straight-to-TV return, and will be someone who has opted out of a contract for Eric Bischoff's PTW. This is all we know and could be any of 20+ former WWE Superstars.
Donald Trump is expected to announce a 'Gimmick Battle Royal' for Halloween Havoc in the coming weeks on Raw. Names expected to compete are... Chainsaw Charlie, Doink The Clown, Demolition, Eugene, Typhoon, Vader, IRS, and more. Should be interesting.

From WWE.COM:
GC: Gordy Cricket here for WWE, and I am joined by former WWE, World Heavyweight, ECW, Intercontinental, Tag Team, Television, and United States Champion, as well as a past Royal Rumble winner, John Cena! John how are you, what are you working on?
Cena: Great to be here, I'm doing great, and I've been working on a lot. The Marine 3 came out this past week over in Europe. I also have been filming Rocky VII: Mixin' it up where I am Rocky Balboa's next big challenger! I've been so excited to work with Sly, it's been a true honor!
GC: Any chance we'll see you back in the ring, other than in the new Rocky movie that is...
Cena: Well, I miss the fans and the WWE Universe immensely and I can't wait to come back. Hopefully I will be back sooner than later, but, if nothing else, I promise I'll make an appearance at 'Mania.
GC: Well that sounds fantastic, so I guess it's not you behind the coded messages that have been haunting World Champion Edge as of late?
Cena: Haha, no, I wish. I'd love to take that Title from him of all people!
GC: If you could come back right now, who'd be the first person you'd get in the ring with?
Cena: Oh man... I don't know, Morrison's looking pretty good lately, same with Jericho over on Raw. I think Punk will win the WWE Title at Survivor Series, so maybe him...
GC: What about Morrison, you think he'll win?
Cena: Could go either way, he definitely has what it takes though, I can't wait to tune in for that whole pay per view, that's for sure.
GC: Great! Well John, thanks so much for taking the time and hopefully we'll see you sometime soon.
Cena: Thanks and you will!

Update from WWE.COM:
Donald Trump met with the WWE News team today and had this to say:
"As an extra motivator for those Superstars from Raw competing in the Survivor Series matches, the survivors will compete in a match the following night on Monday Night Raw to determine who will face the WWE Champion---either CM Punk or Triple H at Christmas Bash: A Tribute to the Troops in Iraq coming up in December. Therefore, those eligible to compete in the No.1 Contenders match will be the winner or winners of Jericho's team and Team Legacy's match, and the survivor or survivors of Team Raw, should we beat SmackDown! in the 'Bragging Rights' match at Survivor Series. Should there somehow be only one survivor, they will be the new No.1 Contender. And, due to this ruling, Chris Jericho will have a chance to face Triple H again if that's the way things turn out, same goes for Randy Orton and CM Punk. Thank you and tune into Monday Night Raw for more details."

From WWE.COM:
"WWE is saddened to learn of the passing of former Superstar Eddie "Umaga" Fatu. Umaga was a past Royal Rumble Winner, WrestleMania Main Eventer, WWE Champion, Intercontinental Champion, and X-Division Champion.
Umaga was one of the few people in history to go into a 6+ month World Title reign undefeated, and hold the Title for over 6 months, defeating everyone(including multiple opponents in one night) until he lost the Championship at SummerSlam that year to Triple H.
Our condolences go out to Fatu's family, friends, and fans.
Rest in Peace Eddie."

Insider Info:
Rob Van Dam is officially the newest SmackDown! Superstar. One can assume his contract was the one being kept under-wraps by Mr. McMahon as no one was informed of his signing. He has reportedly signed to a multi-year deal and will likely be in the main event picture for the coming months with Edge.
The ECW Championship will likely be 100% vacated since the unification has taken place. The Title should remain as the 'World Heavyweight Championship' at this point.
Triple H will defend the WWE Championship in a Bootcamp Match at Christmas Bash: A Tribute to the Troops this month. He will face either Kofi Kingston or Chris Jericho after their win at Survivor Series. There is currently talks of CM Punk being the guest referee in the match.
WWE is excited to announce they have recently signed Frankie Kazarian to a multi-year deal. He will likely debut on TV as Suicide. No word on when or where yet...
Ken Anderson(Mr Kennedy) recently met with some WWE officials. Though, he has remained friends with many people since his release, so this may not be an indication of anything but a small social event.
John Cena has told friends that he may appear in this year's Royal Rumble. It doesn't sound like he is ready to return full-time just yet, so he may just come in for a one-night deal.
SmackDown! Superstar JP Deadly and new signee Suicide have been chosen to represent the WWE in the Wrestlympics this coming February.
Jeff Hardy's injuries have been healing quite nicely, but, do to his highrisk in-ring style, he has been advised to take extra time off. He could return now if he worked very light matches, but a safe bet for a return date would be April-May, sometime after WrestleMania.
Stayed tuned to WWE.COM for more.

Two giants will collide in non-title action as the X-Division Champion, The Great Khali takes on Sheamus!
And, after their miscommunication led to Team Raw losing the Bragging Rights match at Survivor Series, Christian will take on United States Champion The Miz, in non-title action! If Christian gets the win, the two will meet at Christmas Bash:A Tribute to the Troops for the United States Championship!
Friday Night SmackDown!
Originally scheduled would be the celebration of the new Unified World Heavyweight Champion Edge, but it seems an event that took place at Survivor Series has trumped the crowning of the Unified Champ... The return of Rob Van Dam! Therefore, SmackDown! officially welcomes back the extreme Superstar!
After their team won at Survivor Series, the Hart Dynasty will get one more shot at the Tag Team Championships against Shelton Benjamin and MVP!
The Intercontinental Champion Frankie Degennaro will take on the man that screwed him over at Survivor Series, Jack Swagger, in non-title action!

The following is courtesy of Ken-Kennedy.com's blog:
"This is long overdue. Those of you Internet Wrestling Community members probably all know about what happened in DC a few weeks ago. I came to a deal with WWE officials and re-signed with the company. Then, they decided to bring me back at a house show and work off some RING RUST. I teamed with Jericho, who, by the way, thinks I was working fine. We took on Randy and Carlito. The match seemed to go fine until I did the oh-so-terrible (DUN DUN DUN) suplex to Randy-the-pansy... He landed a little hard, I'll give you that Randy, you took a bump. BUT, he refused immediately to continue the match... Left it to Carlito, took himself to the hospital, and, guess what......NOTHING was wrong with him.
I'll admit Randy, it wasn't a well-executed suplex... And, for that, I apologize. But, it is wrestling, it is a sport, a dangerous sport. Has Randy ever screwed up a suplex? I'd be willing to bet... Yes. What this all comes down to is... Randy you're a baby, your going to get me fired, knowing I was 'working off ring rust.' I will be back Randy, and if Jericho hasn't done it by then, I will hurt you."
-Ken Anderson.
