I cringe any time somebody picks up one of my figs and just starts slamming it around recklessly. Nobody plays with my figs... not even me. My figs are for posing and admiring. Noting more, nothing less. I would have freaked if that had happened to me.

Yea, it's pure stupidity. Just leave the damn things alone. If they come to life you can't touch them in my place lol.

I'm so sorry to those that have had that happen...Really, as a collector going on 15 years, I know how precious collections are! Thankfully nothing's happened to my figures, apart from the odd one breaking here and there due to my inquisitive nephew, but that doesn't happen anymore, as he's now 9 years old, and knows not to destroy other's property...

If the kid is seriously 9 years old, then that's just crap and the kid is spoiled and or intellectually- disabled, my Nephew who is 8 know better then to touch my Wrestling figures with out permission and has since he was 6 and when I do let him play with them, he knows to do light play, not to smash them.

That's cool that the kid respects your collection. Good for you guys. I wish to say the same

I remember my moms friends kid would just walk into my room, tip over a box of wrestlers, take one, set it down and then walk out.
I hate kids like this.

Oh yeah, I just remembered a story. It was about 2 years ago. I had just recieved my Rare WWE East Boxset in the post. One of my mum's friends came over and brought one of her nephews, who was around my age. I invited him into my room where I kept my wrestlers. He said he liked playing with them, so I said pick your favourite person and then when I come back from the toilet, we can have a Royal Rumble . So I went to the toilet and when I came back out I saw my collection all over the floor, a few in pieces and my MOC WWE East set had been torn open & Akio was missing a leg, Funaki a Head and Sadoku (?) hs arms. He said it was an accident but I had a bad temper back in the day and I jumped on him and beat the crap out of him. I have never replaced that set.

For me, I've never had any instances of kiddies touching my figures. My gf runs a home daycare with a couple of "lil ones"...but I've told her I have no problem severly hurting a child if I find any of my figures out of place or even touched. Its a serious crime to disrupt one's figure display, a crime who's punishment knows no age limits.
Fortunately there have been no incidents and I'm convinced there never will be. Not to mention the fact I'm going to install a futuristic laser system that vaporizes anyone that attempts to go near my shelves (besides me of course)

Damn that sucks man, I would have flipped out. lol
Well, before I was collecting Figures. I loved Die-Cast cars. I had a Blue, Cadilac Escalade. It was in perfect condition, then my lil sister got it. She was beeing rough with it, so I tried to get it. Then my freaking B*TCH ASS step mom said, ''oh just leave her alone, shes not gonna break it'' and as she was saying that, I noticed that my sis was ripping the mirrors off of the car. I'm getting pretty mad, then Try to get it again. The B*tch yells at me, and my sis throws the car. All of the windows cracked and everything... I was pissed...
