Juggernaut is so fun to play as. Right now I'm using the Juggernaut/Storm/Gambit/Wolverine X-Men combo to get the stamina boost, plus they have some really good fusions together.

I just got the email from Microsoft saying that my xbox 360 is being shipped back to me so I am really excited for it to finally come so I can play this game!
I was wondering does anyon else have the guidebook like me?

I used to buy Guide books but I found they took a lot of the fun out of the game learning how to do everything yourself. And besides if I get stuck there is always the option of looking to the free guidebooks on GameFAQs. So nah I didn't buy the Guide book.

Buying a strategy guide, which are usually 20 bucks, is pretty ridiculous if you have a computer.
As for the game, the more I play it, the more I dislike it. Poor voice acting, poor cut scenes, the horrible fact that when you choose your dialogue there is no voice acting -- you just stand there like a cardboard cut out, juvenile catchphrases/random statements by your team during fights, repetitive gameplay, only one unlockable costume per character, etc. As soon as I beat it, it's going back to gamestop.

Well that is sad that you dislike the game.. I could easily see the guide online but I like to actually hold the book and read it so I bought it. I really liked the original so I know that I will really like this game. And when this one gets old I will have SD vs Raw 2010 to play and then I can play this one later on.

Just beat the game and I have one thing to say. WTF happened to the story at the end? I mean the whole idea of Pro vs Anti Reg went to crap near the end and the Fold being lead by Fury? WTF! I could think of at least a dozen different ways to make the end seem better.
Also not showing Captain getting assassinated was lame.

I'm totally psyched to play this game. I get to fire it up when I get home. I've got the PSP version so I'm pissed that Iron Fist is not in it. He's my favorite lame ass hero of all time. I have no idea why, but I always thought he was cool as a kid. But, I do get Cyclops and he kicks ass no matter what game.
Anyway, I'm not familiar at all with the Civil War/Registration act beyond the basic premise. I know the government decided to make super heros register and some agreed and some disagreed. Beyond that I know nothing. Will this take away from the game at all? Also, I'm a born button masher. Is this game something that button mashers can succeed in? Also, does it have unique character dialogue like the old one had extra dialogue when Captain America confronted the Winter Soldier?
My team in the old game was Iron Man, Thor, Wolverine and a rotating member depending on the scenario.

You don't really need to know much about the Civil War/Registration act to enjoy the game. The game is kinda a button masher but you don't have that great to get through it. And yes. There are special conversations. Although there is no voice for you character. There personality are present in dialogs.

I got really excited since I saw the UPS guy right by my house [he has my X Box 360 because it broke] so I thought I was going to get it today to play the game, since I already got the game. But no the damn UPS guy was at a different house! I guess I have to wait a day or two longer. . .
