The pricing.
If you had TNA Series 1 in WallMart right now, would you honestly see yourself paying the same amount for say, a Hernandez, for the same amount of what Jakks made you pay for the WWE RA line?
I personally think they should maybe knock off the pricing when they get the TNA series released, would you pay the same amount as what you did for a WWE figure? I mean TNA is growing, but it's still a big gap from WWE, and most of their midcarders are pretty unrecognizable to the younger generation.

Probably get endless Kurt Angles, Scott Steiners and Stings for the first few waves, splattered with Booker T, Kevin Nash and... AJ Styles, maybe. Possibly a Samoa Joe... There's plenty of characters and repaint opportunities to carry the first few waves. You know how Jakks roll!

Well since Jakks and now Mattel's staple price is $10 atleast for one figure, looks like we are going to have to fork over big money for these fgures. Jakks is going to eat SH*T since most of the TNA figures won't sell. Who wants a Bashir and Kiyoshi figure?
They better put the best of the best in these sets if they want to sell. I am looking forward to the belts alot. The TNA title made like a Jakks belt looks awesome I assume.

... I want a Kiyoshi.
Assuming of course we get some in RA style. If the TNA figures are ALL in DA style I'm just gonna buy a Sting to put the head on an RA body, and probably not get anyone else unless I need em for fix-up parts

I doubt they will but I'm not sure the TNA line is directed toward younger fans.

paying 9 or 10 for a figure isnt too bad, but for the most part Ill probly wait a few months to get the majority, so I can buy them loose

I suspect most toy prices will go up next year. So while the WWE/Mattel prices look high now, they will be in line with other manufactures when Q1 2010 comes around.

I think it could be a concern but then again, the collectors are going to want figures of Hernandez, Eric Young, Kiyoshi to fit in with their collection. I certainly do.

Easy solution.
Series 1: MEM Series 2: Tara, Pope, Lashley, Holliday, Taz, Foley Series 3: Christy, Rhino, Kip James, Team 3D, Bashir
That should stall for time until more people start watching the product.

I don't know, Jakks current prices right now won't entice someone unfamiliar to TNA to pick up the product, And that's a problem, I sure am not, And I love RA's, If they are DA then I assume the same, If not worse. I feel TNA is them just hanging on to the wrestling market that they lost.

If the attires have better design then what has been coming out lately then I would. If the attires look good then people will buy them. Make a cool AJ in the first single series along with Angle and Sting, mix in a couple other guys and then in the two packs do the guns and do them well and you could add team 3D and beer money and that would get the sets off to a great start. If they put time into the attires atleast early on and the figures are RA it will help the sales.

As long as the TNA figures are RA format, I'll be buying everyone I don't have, and probably a few good repaints.
If the TNA figs are DA.. I'll pick up Sting, Daniels, Joe, and Styles, and that's all.

I think the bottom line is that Jakks will have a lot less success and a lot less figure releases. The market just isn't there for TNA products the way it is for WWE.
I'm not saying there won't be buyers, I just can't see it being sustained.
