and I think it came off looking good. I'd like opinions! I'm really thinking about getting out more acrylic paint and painting up some other belts. I don't really collect that much anymore, I'm basically sticking to just buying CM Punk's, but this little "hobby" might get me back into buying. Until seeing it in person, I never new how much better a painted title looks... and just for the hell of it, here's the WWE Title on CM Punk's shoulder. EDIT: I'd really like to say thanks to MrFantasy, as I used his painted belts post as reference of what to paint. Thanks for looking! Update(7/17/07): I decided to give the Winged Eagle title a go, I don't have any blue, but I'll go buy some tomorrow, I only have the black done thus far... let me know what you think? NOTE: The strap, in case anyone forgot, came with that Warrior, I just didn't any anyone under the impression I did that too.

Well, you can either:
A.) paint the title ALL black, and gently wipe off the top with a power towel or kleenex, leaving the top edges gold, and the cavities black, or...
B.)Paint the title all black, then get a brush with gold paint, and paint most of it onto a piece of paper, then lightly brush the paint on the belt, covering only the top areas.

i use the method of paint the belt black the licking my thumb and rubbing the top off. That way the grooves stay black but the rest go back to being gold. Its MUCH quicker. I did like 25 belts in 2 nights

Really nice for a first timer. I really like the darker gold on the painted belts. Jakks' belts are such a light gold.

Hell that's so simple I may even try it if I can find some black paint. In theory that should also work for coloring in the ECW title right?
