BMX XXX was pretty terrible from what I remember. Mat Hoffman was pretty fun, just Tony Hawk with bikes. I dunno about Dave Mirra but it used the same engine as BMX XXX.

BMX XXX is one of my favourite games ever. It tends to get alot of poop from people which I don't understand, I think it's cozy and I like it. I never played Dave Mirra 2, I'd love to some day. These two games have the same engine btw.
Mat Hoffman 2 is a pretty good game. It is like Tony Hawk just with a BMX, I would recommend it. The Dave Mirra games use a different, very innovative engine however that lets you customize moves more. Personally, I'd get every one of those games.
Where will you be getting them btw? I would love to have Mat Hoffman 2 again and Dave Mirra 2.

Ah I understand. Man, if you only could get games like that in stores nowadays. I haven't seen Dave Mirra 2 for sale anywhere, I have to get it off Ebay if I want it. Heh. I have BMX XXX ripped tho. And I consider myself to be lucky even for that.

I really preferred Dave Mirra 2 over the rest, with the whole free-roaming style to it and massive levels to explore. The gameplay takes a while to get used to, but there's so much variety you can pull off once you've mastered it, definately an underrated game in my opinion.
Matt Hoffmans 2 just felt like a Tony Hawk clone but in BMX form but they did change around things compared to the first one, but this was during a point where Activision were pumping out variety's of sports games using the Tony Hawk gameplay engine which majority just didn't work well with tbh.
