I have to be honest, the obsession that a lot of people here have over what a wrestler's hair or clothes look like has always kind of creeped me out slightly. Especially the ability for a discussion about it to cause massive fights.

Especially the ability for a discussion about it to cause massive fights. It's all about the look dude. Every wrestler who's ever ment anything has had a distinct look about them. A look that either been liked or disliked. Even if it was a guy like Steve Austin who wore traditional attire. People thought that Goldberg got his look from Austin. Not sure why people liking different wreslters' attires would creep you out. As if to say you'd be okay if every wreslter on the roster showed up wearing plain black trunks and wrestling shoes. But hey, it's your opinion so....

I think people need to learn that everybody has a different opinion, and as well need to learn to "agree to disagree". On topic, I always did like those white boots.. Hope he wears them again some day. Couldn't agree more, and we did sort everything out until the weird dude brought everything back up again. Staying on topic, I completely forgot about his white boots originally, I doubt he'll wear them again though, simply because I don't think he actually liked them. I don't know, but in my opinion, he just never seemed comfortable in them. I can't remember him even winning while wearing the white boots. I remember him wearing them at WM 20...he lost. And at Backlash that year...he lost again. I don't blame him, I'd quit wearing them to.

1999-2000 Triple H was the best. Chain mail = badass.

To a point I understand what you are saying, but I have always thought it was more about the stories the wrestlers tell more than what their attire or entrance looks like. To be honest, I would be perfectly fine if everyone came out in black trunks and plain boots. Jericho's hairstyle doesn't impact his ability to wrestle, or his mic skills, or even alter his character in one way or another. To me anyway. I can see people having a preference, but the degree that people freak out over a slight change and act like their world is ending is what disturbs me.

Lou Thez, Buddy Rogers, Killer Kowalski(sp), ect certainly didn't have to change kickpads every three month to keep their fans happy. But having to have an important look in order to make it in the biz is just a sign of the times. A sign that I for one don't have a problem with.

I disagree with the lemmy chops, I think it made him look badass. Agreed. I always thought jacket HHH looked off for me.
