Very sad. I would say that I enjoyed him the best in 2007 when he was IC champ twice and had his best WM moment even though he lost. . His matches against Jeff were really good imo so that is what I will remember about him the most.

It's a shame people let drugs abuse themselves like that. your a ing idiot way to judge people and jump to conclusions, hundreds of thousands of young people die every year without drug related causes, brain aneurysms, strokes, heart attacks, blood clots, enlarged hearts etc doesn't necessarily mean its drugs anyways RIP if its confirmed, I loved 3 minute warning and despised the idea of him returning not in 3MW but I grew to love umaga (the wrestler not so much the character) he was fast and a good wrestler. Sad as it is to say I might jump on a DA umaga on ebay, I always wanted it and if hes passed scalpers are gonna jack him up to 100 bucks in the next few weeks as usual, is the DA a good fig or should I just scoop an RA one.

The first reports regarding this stated that they believe it was prescription drug related. He has just as much right to "go off of that information" as everyone else does to go off of the few snipits of info we've been given regarding this situation. Unless someone on here lives in Houston, and have some sort of inside info, we are all learning the same possibly incorrect info at the same time.

He's not dead. That website says link not found and I know it can be updated by anyone but the WIKI site doesn't have him dead.

Interesting how we talk so much good things about a guy only after he's dead. I didn't see one single post about Umaga last week.

Let the Umaga signatures roll in...
The man was a good worker ( for his size ), yes. However, he wasn't a future Hall of Famer or Legend in the wrestling industry.
It is sad to see another wrestler pass away, but it's gonna happen a lot. These guys kill their bodies with not only the wrestling, but also the drugs most take.

Why would there be a need for an Umaga thread, considering he's no longer in the WWE. The guy had fans, I know he did. And I was one of them. Just 'cause we didn't talk about him last weeks doesn't mean people didn't like him.

Awesome match vs Jeff Hardy. Really stands out to me. Rip I had a friend die of a drug overdose 2 years ago. He was found the same way, not breathing with blood coming out of his nose and mouth. So sad. Its easy to say how F'ed up someone is for abusing drugs, but its so hard to understand how drugs can easily take over ones life. This doesnt by any means mean that these people are bad people, just made a bad choice one day that ended up becoming a life long problem. Its wicked hard for people who do drugs or even use prescription drugs to get off of them, and in some cases its fatal. Before everyone jumps all over mr fatu, they should realize that there is a greater force that had a hold on him, one that maybe help at rehab just couldnt stop. I have always been drug free, but knowing someone that has done them, and eventualy died from it, I have a whole new respect for the force behind them. Its tough, but we all here should show a little more respect then all out bashing. It really doesnt matter if anyone talked about him last week or not, the man died. We all watched him at some point or another in the wwe

What I will remember Umaga for is his matches against John Cena and Jeff Hardy. Like I said before in a previous thread, he was never going to be THE guy but he took a shiity rehash of a 1980's Samoan Savage gimmick and made it work. Umaga was a good worker and great talent and he was a good addition to anyone's promotion. R.I.P. Eddie.

This kind of stuff happens whenever anyone dies, it's no surprise.
