You lose almost all the articulation of the elbow joints and most of the legs.Use a less rigid rubber or cloth pads.You cant even hardly remove them if you wanted to.I had to cut off Edge's elbow pads. Who looks at this board from Mattel? The customer service is weird with them, not personable at all.

Again sorry guys but I just don't see the problem with the pads. I can bend everyone of my figures knees & elbows easy enough. And they all hold the pose once bent so I don't see the problem.

the Toybiz TNA figure elbow pads work very well...they are the same size and more elastic...i swapped from an aj style for my elite edge...works great

For the people who want to change the kneepads...just heat the top of the boot with a hairdryer for a minute and you can then pop the boots off their stem.
