What happened to the Headbangers, Mosh and Thrasher. I used to really like those guys as a tag team. but yea what happened to them? Where they fired? Did they quit? Do they still wrestle? I would love to know.

Yeah, I used to like them alot as well. They were a great team and were definitely over with the crowd. How do I sum this up? Thrasher got injured pretty badly and was on the sidelines for a very long time. Long enough that it left Mosh with nothing to do. So, WWF repackaged Mosh as Harry "Beaver" Cleavage. That didn't pan out, so he ditched the gimmick and became Chaz. Just a kid from Jersey, or so the gimmick went. And again, that didn't pan out either. They then paired Chaz with D'Lo Brown and they became Lo Down and they were really great I thought. That was until Tiger Ali Singh came around and they paired them up with him. Their outfits were beyond ridiculous. After that, they just kinda broke up and Chaz was released. From what I've read about, they were going to repackage Thrasher under some evil clown gimmick. Not like Doink was though. I believe something similar to famous murderer John Wayne Gacy's Pogo the Clown. That didn't pan out either, so they eventually released Thrasher. I have no idea where they are today, but they can't be that hard to find. They WERE signed to have WWE Classic figures, but they ended up getting cancelled.

They came, they sucked and they left. I hated them and was glad when they were gone, I just wish they did not keep repackaging the worthless Chaz.

They came, they sucked and they left. Hey man, if they sucked, then they wouldn't have won both the WWF Tag-Team titles and NWA North American Tag-Team titles as well. A sucky team would be Jacob & Eli Blu or Well Dunn. Now THOSE teams sucked. The Headbangers were great and are still missed by many fans to this day. If the tag-team scene in the WWE didn't suck as bad as it does now, I would love to see them come back. Why they still have a set of tag belts makes me wonder, that's for sure. And why they ever started up two sets of tag belts makes me wonder even more. I mean, there weren't even enough decent tag teams to start one credible division back then, let alone two!! What they were thinking is beyond me. They weren't thinking clearly, that's for sure.

Not that this adds anything to the conversation, but I hated them. They were entertaining and worked well as a team. Thats more then can be said for most tag teams in WWE today.

What they were thinking is beyond me. They weren't thinking clearly, that's for sure. I know they were Tag Champs, but the Tag Titles during their days in the WWE were not exactly what they once were. I mean the champs before them were the thrown together combo of Austin & Dude Love and they did not even beat that combination to become champs, they won it in a 4-way. The tag division had already become an after thought once they won the belts and did nothing to bring prestige to the titles and dropped them within a month to a pair of hog farmers. The then feuded with The Truth Commision, Quebecers, the charismatic combo of Furnas & Lafon, & the lame version of the Blackjacks. I know they have their fans, but I'm not in the minority when I say they suck, the WWE does too. They were listed as the tag team that most overstayed their welcome in the WWE and one of the worst World Tag Team combination's. As for the NWA Tag Titles they won, those were paper titles that held no prestige, they won the belts from a washed up R&R Express and lost them to the extremely lame New Midnight Express.

They were ok. I just hated those fuzzy boobs that they'd wear to the ring.

According to Wikipedia, Mosh is now an office machine salesman in Florida I'd believe it. I've lived in South Florida for about 10 years now, and he's been a fairly regular indy worker down here for that entire time (usually under the name Chaz, his actual first name). Most guys working indies have some kind of "real" job, since the indies pay crap. In fact, he just recently worked an indy show about three blocks from my house, but I was out of town at the time so I couldn't go.

Thrasher now lives in Calvert County, MD with his wife and child and works as a district manager for Domino's Pizza.

I liked The Headbangers but I did grow tired of their gimmick. I too was really disappointed when Jakks cancelled their figures.

As a gimmick, yeah, they were okay, but seemed more like punks to me (as a metalhead, I know what WWE was trying to accomplish though)
The cancelled CS figures was a shame, as I wanted to see what they could've done with them...oh well...

I thought the team as heels were a good idea. I HATED seeing them as faces. I thought has heels they could of been straight-up punks.
I too was pissed upon hearing their CS figures were canceled. I would hope they get new figures in the NWA line, but it wouldn't be as the Headbangers.
