Thoughts?

Not really surprised TBH but what are they going to do with it all i wonder? Wasn't something said about Jakks being able to ship til May and they would be emptying their warehouse.

Good I hate Jakks. I sold my Jakks collection on ebay to make room for Mattel in my closet. Go Mattel!!

I thought it said ALL Jakks merch and started to lol before I realized Jakks makes UFC. So then I got mad. But then I had an orange popsicle, reread the post, listened to some Journey and now I'm happy again.

I'm sure you'll still see Jakks at TRU until the end of their grace period. But the Targets in my area have already done their store season resets. All Jakks have been put on clearance And Mattel has their spots on the new planograms.

Thoughts? I posted this happening at my TRU quite some time ago. They went fro one whole side of an aisle to 3 pegs.

That is pretty good but there is a lot of stuff they did not sell. What are they going to do with it because they might as well put everything left on clearance if they can get more for it then they would sending it back. .
And what's going to happen when TNA figs come out? Are they going to just be right next to the mattel stuff?

They will also need shelf space for the Mattel Barbie and Tiger Woods playset.

They aren't pulling any product. The Jakks stuff will dwindle as it gets clearanced, but it will still share shelfspace with the Mattel WWE product. Just like Toy Biz TNA was shelved with Jakks.
And when Jakks TNA comes out it will sit next to the Mattel stuff.
What would TRU do with all the extra Jakks stuff? Possibly sell it off to clearance stores like TJ Maxx or Marshalls, but that won't happen for awhile.
For the time being, I don't see the Jakks stuff disappearing or getting pulled. Not yet anyway...

Store that still have it in their inventory (TRU) will keep it on the pegs until the end like they did with Hasbro's Batman items when Mattel got the license. Then the final week that they can sell it they'll have some huge sale (again like TRU did with the hasbro Batman toys) And then the mom & pop stores that sell jakks will keep them on the pegs until they sell.

target already cleared most of them out and marked all ra's to 2.99 here That's because after the holidays and after summer the stores do their department resets and put everything on clearence to make room for the new product.
