Not elbow pads, of course. I was more-so thinking about putting the "new" style Jakks knee pads on my Elite Punk figure, but Punk's pads are so tight I'm almost positive the only way to remove them is by cutting them off.
Just wanted to see if anyone's thought of this yet, and if so, how do they look?

I put them on my Flair custom. You don't have to cut them off just heat the top of the boot athe the articulation cut for a minute with a hairdryer and you can pop the boot off the lower leg stem.

I'm thinking of doing the same thing, I have a DA Punk that's going his ass in a box, and staying there, so he won't be needing his knee pads. Just gotta remember to make the switch when I have time. Be nice to see some pics first, though, just in case I don't like the look.

Ah, now the pics are up. Thanks for posting those, they saved me a few minutes of heating & switching. Looks like the large pads are just too big. Oh, well.

I have the Elite Punk and cut his knee pads off and replaced them with the newer RA knee pads. It looks pretty good and I'm happy I can now do the GTS on my Jakks figs and send them to the heavens.

Why are you guys cutting the knee pads? I have taken a number of them off by simply pulling above the boot. I haven't even heated them. Just pulled. Thumbs down on the Jakks' pads. They just don't look good.

It would appear the jakks ones are farr too big. Shame but it rather stick to all mattel if possible. Thanks again for sacrificing cablev.

Raven's TNA pads also work really well, I used them for my Elite Edge.
