Something about Escobar's brief tenure with WWE leaves a bad taste in my mouth lol.
Not because I thought he was anything special or mistreated in any way, but to me it just seems like everything he ever did on SmackDown was a waste of time.
Aligning him with Vickie Guerrero and having them split so soon in an attempt to turn him face is some of the worst character building I've seen from WWE creative in a while.

I figured this one was inevitable, He was with the company for a few years and spent it in dark matches and in development and he was supposed to be called up when ECW was formed but he got injured and after that I didn't hear anymore good things about him and apparently in FCW he was a real headcase so that along with his run on Smackdown probably was the buildup to his release and he might have had a bad attitude backstage as well but I'm not 100% sure on that,He had potential but with McIntyre being supported by HBK and Triple H there was no real future for him because they all shifted their focus towards McIntyre so he was lost in the shuffle basically .Ever seen one of those? I am in a total WHAT THE mood right now how did you do that Cam I mean seriously I wanna know how to do it I've been waiting forever for someone to show me how and nobody has ever stepped up to the plate can you show me please mate

I guess Escobar's drunken rant in Philly about getting fired was true.

He had potential but that Vickie storyline was the end of his run with WWE Unfortunately for Escobar, the end and the biginning were in the exact same place.

not surprised at all. in fact i was more surprised to just see him mentioned anywhere. i totally forgot about this guy. he was starting to have a few decent matches and i was kinda starting to like him but essentially he was a cheap knock off razor ramon. hopefully he will go somewhere where he can improve and come back in a few years.

His only job in life was to get Vickie back on TV.

They totally dropped the ball on this guy. Why did they ever break him and Vicky up in the first place? Oh well...gotta be honest it isn't a great loss.

I guess Escobar's drunken rant in Philly about getting fired was true. Explain. Escobar was drunk and discussing in the hotel lobby about how he has major heat with Vickie Guerrero and some others and that he was gonna be fired soon. After that is when we saw Vickie get promoted to a consultant on Smackdown and Escobar slowly fazed out.
