While I haven't seen any version of H2 yet, I think they should leave Zombie's two movies as a stand alone vision. That being said, they can't go back to the original either, because the whole series is beyond ed up! I'd love to see them pick up the Thorn story again, but that will never happen. So, here's what I'd like to see: Every new Halloween movie is a stand alone film. We all know the original back story, so play off of that, and each film maker can have Michael do his own thing. Really, as long as there's a good atmosphere, he's in a jumpsuit and wearing the mask...and not talking! I'm happy. Just have him killing babysitters again and I'll watch any movie in series.

"There are bits and images in this film that would ensure praise from the horror-fan crowd if they weren't in a Halloween movie directed by Rob Zombie." - Rob Gonsalves eFilmCritic.com
That sums it up pretty nicely. People can't accept anything new, as someone said before "DR. LOOMIS SHOULD NEVER SAY MICHAEL IS DEAD IN A HALLOWEEN MOVIE!".

I think it should have ended at H20. It had the perfect ending. Laurie tried to get away by changing her name but Michael eventually found her 20 years later. Fed up with running away, she has that last showdown with her brother and is the only one who can finish him off. I thought it was awesome, and Resurrection completely ed it in the ass.

I disagree that H20 had the perfect ending. If Resurrection had ended after Michael kills Laurie, then that would have been the perfect ending to the series.

It should be! Or in the winter...Haddonfield could have a freak blizzard on Halloween night!
