I've seen loads of people comment on the look of the figures, but I haven't heard much about their playability Compared to the playability of Jakks, which I loved (especially DA), how good are they playability-wise? Karma will be given for the most helpful responses

The legs are more proportional and have a better movement motion front and back.

Playability is amazing. At first, they felt a little different than Jakks, but I just picked up the Colons today and have been playing around with them and noticed, they really are fantastic. playability is as good, if not better than Jakks.

If the pads were softer they'd be perfect. The figures aren't flawless but they're very well done. I have enjoyed them much more than I did with my Jakks figures the last few months.
Also add the fact that Elite and Basic can work together... and that's another thing that tops Jakks compared to RA/DA play.

Elite's are basically Deluxe Aggression,in terms of playability and articulation....
Basic's,PPV,and 2-packs are basicaly comparable to RA except they have an extra swivel joint in the legs disguised at where the top of the boots are...
also,Hornswaggle and Beth Phoenix have extra articulation in the hips, whereas the rest just have up-and-down joints there...
Flex Force have less, usually missing knee and ankle joints, and some even missing elbow joints, depending on what the action feature is...

The only Mattel figures I have with the large kneepads are Basic Kofi and Elite Punk. The pads don't prohibit Kofi's movement at all but it's very difficult to bend Punk's knees, which makes it pretty much impossible to do a satisfying GTS or knee in the corner with it.

So here is a goofy question. Anyone got an easy way to remove Edge's jacket? I cut a little slit at the shoulder area of the jacket for both Edge and Taker and it's eaiser to get off.

I actually youtube'd a review for the figure hoping there would be some info on the jacket. Sure enough, there was! Worked like a charm too!
I LOVE this Edge figure, despite the jacket giving me a little headache, it's phenomenal!

Two steps forward and one step back. They're as good as RA, perhaps slightly better due to the greater range of the hip joints, but you run into a lot of the same problems: legs aren't far enough apart for a power bomb, pile driver, hurricanrana, walls of jericho, etc.

Depsite not playing with them, the hands being able to connect is a great improvement. The legs being able to turn 90 degrees isn't that much of a big deal to me, plus the boots can rotate at the top but they can look wrong when turned certain ways.
