I am expecting to get a very bias answer, but I'll ask it anyway. But anyways, I was a heavy Jakks collector, and I really hated the look of Mattel figures. But I saw them in stores and I am very much leaning on getting some. But I don't want to have to start an all new collection, but I'm wanting to give it a shot. Should I? Even though I have a good size Jakks collection? Why not? If you don't want to put them with your jakks because of the smaller size then display them on another shelf. And if you'r a MOC collector it really shouldn't matter.

I would recommend them but only get the figs that you like. Don't try to get them all even if you dislike Mark Henry for example..
Just a ? but are you going to continue buying Jakks products when they release their TNA figs?

I really have been impressed for the most part with Mattel. Some of their scans are outstanding while others fall a little short. But once you get one, you'll want to get more. So if you can afford it and you still get that "high" from collecting then go for it.

from 2004 - current i didn't pick up ANY Jakks "modern" figures...i got quite a few Classic Superstars during that time, but i didn't like the way Jakks made EVERY superstar ripped on 'roid rage, even if they shouldn't be...plus,everyone having the same scale, plus lack of some detailing turned me off... on January 1st,i saw the Mattel stuff, and planned on only getting a few...Elite 'Taker , Entrance Greats....just some stuff to enhance my collection... as of right now, my "enhancing" of my collection stands at 29 figures... for the most part, these blow Jakks away, with more accurate bod styles,WAY more accurate scales, superior detailing, and a lot of articulation....like cobraviper said, once you start, you can't stop !

There's about 5 or so figures I want, but still waiting for better distribution in the UK cause I don't like buying stuff on line

I've only purchased one so far and prefer them to Jakks. I don't really have the money any more to throw around on figures so I only really buy a figure if I don't already have that guy.

I think they work just fine with RAs, so I'd say just buy the ones you want and use them with your RA collection.
