Kinda wish Kane didnt win the battle royal, I would have liked to see a darkhorse like R-Truth have won it. I just enjoy the days of wrestling where it would a random midcarder challenging for the belt each ppv lol.
Well hopefully Jericho wins the belt. But you are writing really good shows DTP, keep it up!

Interesting with the battle royal & Morrison/Jericho match. Wonder what will come of it. Ziggler over J is predictable and a lackluster opener. Digging the Ziggler promo about Morrison being the only loser and such. Very nice job there. McMahon telling Long what to do is great. Punk coming in to complain like usual. Wow....surprised here. Truth over Punk makes my dick soft plain and simple. Kane winning is pretty different and hopefully he faces 'Taker. But, like the GTS afterward and Hardy/Punk feud? Seems like a very emo promo from Rey, but I like it. Bethman winning the costume contest was a nice touch. Jericho/Kane will be intriguing and heres to Jericho winning so we can get some Jericho/Taker action! Nice SD Danny!

WRESTLING NEWS AND RUMORS![/size] WRESTLING101.ORG[/i] Posted by Daniel Peterson Monday 26th October 2009 - Sunday 1st November 2009
-- In shocking news, Hulk Hogan has apparently signed with TNA. Hogan, probably Vince McMahon's greatest creation of the 1980s, and possibly the biggest icon in professional wrestling has worked for World Championship Wrestling and of course, the WWE in the past. This comes as quite a surprise. TNAWrestlingNews.com[/color]
-- Controversy struck WWE this past Sunday at Bragging Rights when John Cena was busted open hardway in the sixty minute Ironman match for the WWE Championship. The match was stopped after Cena bled after suffering a blow from the steel steps, and paramedics attending to and fixing Cena's wound was to boos from the hostile crowd. Though the crowd hated this, the WWE were on an awkward spot; as Linda McMahon continues her party to become Senator, she cannot take any risk. And it is possible we may not see blood on television in the company for years. WWInsider.net[/color]
-- This week's edition of RAW, guest hosted by NASCAR drivers, Kyle Busch and Joey Lagano received a 3.7 Cable rating. PWPaparazzi.com
-- Former WWE superstar, Colin Delaney was seen backstage at the ECW/SmackDown tapings this past Tuesday at Rochester, New York. Delaney previously worked for the company in late 2007 and 2008, competing on its ECW brand, but was let go in August 2008. Delaney was reportedly just catching up with some old friends. WeLoveWrasslin.co.uk
-- After Jim Ross signed out of the WWE after receiving another bad case of Bell's Palsy, it has been revealed that Byrone Saxton (real name, Bryan Kelly) will replace Matt Striker on the ECW brand with Josh Mathews. Meanwhile, Matt Striker will be filling J.R.'s position on the SmackDown announce team with Todd Grisham. Byrone has previously worked in FCW as an announcer. TotalNonStopSpoilers.org
-- Shawn Michaels, who was previously rumored to be retiring in 2010 has denied such gossip, speaking out and informing that he still has two or three more years left in him, and he plans to retire at WrestleMania, whether it be WrestleMania XXVII or WrestleMania XXVIII. Right now, Shawn does not work house shows and is quite comfortable competing on weekly televised events. WrestleSnack.com[/color]
-- WWE Hall of Famer, 'Rowdy' Roddy Piper has spoken out to us, and expressed interest of guest hosting a future edition of WWE RAW. Piper was apparently not too happy with his involvement in WrestleMania XXV, where he was teamed with Jimmy 'Superfly' Snuka and Ricky 'The Dragon' Steamboat to take on Chris Jericho in a losing effort; and wants to have a match with Vince McMahon. Piper believes that it would be a draw for the audience and would be a great sendoff for Piper's career in the ring. Kingofpain.net[/color]

WWE RAW Monday 2nd November 2009 Worcester, Massachusetts | DCU Center |
[/color] Live on USA Network[/center] WWE Superstars Match:[/color] Melina defeated Alicia Fox to retain the WWE Womens Championship (4:41) WWE Superstars Match:[/color] Chris Jericho defeated Matt Hardy (13:08)[/size] We kick off this edition of Monday Night RAW with 'Crazy Train' booming into the arena as Ozzy Osbourne's sadistic laugh was heard, Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne both sat on a throne in the ring, as Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler introduce us to RAW, three weeks away from Survivor Series, live on pay-per-view. Ozzy is introduced to RAW, as Sharon has the microphone, hyping up Ozzy as being one of the biggest rock icons in the history of music! Ozzy welcomes everybody to the Osbournes' RAW, and that this isn't exactly the first time he's been here. We are taken to graphics on the HD set showing his past appearances at WrestleMania 2 with the British Bulldogs and performing on the May 18th 2007 edition of SmackDown!. Sharon asked Ozzy if he recalls his hairstyle at WrestleMania 2, Ozzy asking Sharon what she was talking about. Moments later, the theme of Chris Jericho hitting the arena to boos. Jericho came out wearing a suit, the WWE Tag Team Championship on one shoulder; World Tag Team Championship on the other. Jericho asked Ozzy if he ever made a wrestling event before. Jericho tells the Osbournes that Ozzy may have inspired him and inspired Fozzy, but they do not know what they're doing with Monday Night RAW! Jericho mentions that he has sold out arenas and he's not even got anything planned for him. Jericho tells them that he is disgusted, but Sharon asks Jericho who he thinks he is being here, Ozzy telling Chris that he has a lot of fans, too, irrelevent to the situation. Jericho tells the couple that he wants to face John Cena in a non-title match tonight! Ozzy tells Jericho that that sounds good, but he's got a better idea; that Chris Jericho and Big Show defend the WWE Unified Tag Team Championships against MVP and Mark Henry! To follow up, Sharon decides that Cena will be in action tonight, as will DX, because in a six man tag team main event, it will be DX and Kofi Kingston facing Legacy! Ozzy tells Jericho to enjoy the show.
Commercial Break
An advertisement aired, promoting WrestleMania XXVI tickets going on sale this Saturday, to 'Welcome to the World' by Kevin Rudolf.
Tag Team Match The Miz and Jack Swagger vs Evan Bourne and Primo [/color] Not so bad a match to get things going, as the conbustable elements, The Miz and Jack Swagger seemed to compete for the fans' attention and respect; they got booed anyway. Primo and Evan Bourne both made a prescense here, as Primo took out Swagger as Miz fought with Bourne. The two teams tussled well as Primo eventually was given the Skull-Crushing Finale by Miz, only Jack Swagger got in the WWE United States Champion's face; the two arguing before Evan Bourne jumped out of nowhere, knocking both Miz and Swagger down. Miz got rolled up by Primo for the win! Winners: Evan Bourne and Primo (5:33)[/color] **1/4Primo rolls out of the ring quickly as Evan Bourne celebrates with him, the two aerial fanatics celebrating on the rampway to cheers. The Miz got to his feet as he seemed outraged after being defeated by the likes of Primo. Suddenly, he turned around to get directly hit in the face by the WWE United States Championship belt! Swagger stood over Miz, as the crowd gave him a mixed reaction, Swagger leaving to his theme. A 'Do Not Try This At Home' advertisement aired. Commercial BreakA 'Did You Know?' graphic appeared, informing us that last week's edition of RAW was seen by more male viewers than any program on NBC, The CW and Fox. We go to Josh Mathews in the backstage area as he is conducting an interview with WWE Champion, John Cena! Cena is questioned about who he seems to find a beneficial opponent for Survivor Series yet, as Cena responds by saying that he believes that ONE of DX could be a great rival for him going into Survivor Series, and that he'd be so honorable if one of them could face him...But nobody knows right now who he is talking about...And they won't know until later tonight! Going to the live arena, we see Sheamus in the ring, as he has a microphone in hand, stolen from Justin Roberts. Sheamus talks about how last week he made a statement debuting on RAW and demolishing Jamie Noble, but he isn't one-hundred percent satisfied. Sheamus informs everybody that there is other laughing stocks to be taken out; then, everybody will know that he is a serious man, and a serious threat to championship gold! Singles Match Sheamus vs Santino Marella[/color] Santino Marella tried to be masculine, but he failed hard. The big ginger Irishman just picked him up and slammed him repeatedly, easily just tossing him around the ring like a rag doll; shocking since Santino weighed merely forty pounds less than the brute. Sheamus threw him around like he did Jamie Noble last week, in actual fact, and he ended it with the bicycle kick to the face, followed up with the elevated powerbomb for the win. Winner: Sheamus (3:18)[/color] *1/2Sheamus celebrates his victory as Santino Marella rolls out of the ring, the crowd booing. An advertisement airs, promoting the release of Ozzy Osbourne's autobiography, available in all bookstores from January 25th, 2010. We go to the backstage area as Triple H stepped into the DX locker room, calling Shawn Michaels' name, as the crowd roared. He called numerous times, as he wondered where Shawn was, and he walked into the main dressing room area to find Shawn down and out on the floor! Suddenly, Big Show came from the side of a locker on the other side of the screen, Show grabbing Triple H and sending him head first into the lockers! Show left both of DX lying unconscious, roaring. Commercial Break[/color][/b] Singles Match Chris Masters vs John Cena[/color] John Cena was in no time to mess with tonight, but Chris Masters still stood up to his old rival from 2005, John Cena; the WWE Champion continued to fire blows at Masters' direction, 'The Masterpiece' however using his power to actually confront Cena, and it worked with precision. Cena however, his momentum and fanbase just seemed too much for Masters. Cena took out Masters as he set up for the Masterlock, reversing a Full-Nelson slam into a hiptoss, then following up with the Attitude Adjustment for three! Winner: John Cena (6:12)[/color] **1/2John Cena didn't celebrate his victory as the official handed him his WWE Championship belt. Cena put the belt on his shoulder and then told the fans that tonight, he was in a good mood, and he was about to announce who was going to face him at Survivor Series, but somebody 'big' came up. Cena references Big Show assaulting his top two contenders, Shawn Michaels and Triple H of DX, as he calls out Big Show! Big Show's theme hit, the man himself coming to the ring and glaring down at his old rival, Cena. Cena tells Show that he seems to like sticking his nose in other peoples' business obviously. Show tells Cena that all he wants is to be in the WWE Championship match at Survivor Series. Otherwise, he will indeed choke the life out of Cena the way he promised but forgot to do this past spring. Cena tells Show that he's up for that. Cena throws down the belt, as the crowd popped, but Ozzy Osbourne walked out! Osbourne told the two that he has a better way of doing things; he's informed Legacy and Kofi Kingston about this, and it is a better idea for tonight, if Triple H and Shawn Michaels of DX face Big Show and John Cena, and whichever member of DX takes the pinfall victory, they will be in for Survivor Series! But if they pin Cena and not Show, then Show will also qualify to that match! But if Cena and Show win, then it will be Show against Cena! The crowd popped, as Ozzy left. Commercial Break[/color][/b] We go to the arena as we are live for 'RAW's Got Talent'! The master of ceremony is Jerry Lawler, as Ozzy Osbourne, Sharon Osbourne and special guests, Great Khali and Runjin Singh are the judges for the competition. Ozzy introduces out the first participant as it was the undisputable Mae Young dancing to 'Bark at the Moon'! She tried to take her shirt off, as Ozzy called security, and she was escorted! Up next, Sharon invited out the second participant, as this time it was Hornswoggle 'singing' 'Crazy Train'. This got a good reaction, but he ended up miming out of synch, exposing that he was lip-synching. Ozzy loved it, though. Chavo Guerrero and Jillian Hall were up last, as Jillian attempted to sing 'Close My Eyes Forever' with Chavo, just for Ozzy to tell them he regrets creating that song for times like these. This sets off the duet, as Jillian gets in Sharon's face, Sharon slapping Jillian! Chavo tells Ozzy to control his woman, Great Khali responding with a chop to the head! Khali, Singh, Ozzy, Sharon and Hornswoggle danced in the ring to 'Crazy Train'. A graphic appeared, and next week, at RAW in the United Kingdom, it will be X Factor judge, Simon Cowell guest hosting RAW! This actually got some boos. Tag Team Match Ted Dibiase and Cody Rhodes vs MVP and Mark Henry[/color] Not so great the example of a good match here, as MVP and Mark Henry competed pretty well against the short-term substitutes from Jeri-Show for the WWE Unified Tag Team Championships to Legacy. Ted Dibiase defeated MVP last week, and here, MVP seemed more motivated. Cody Rhodes had trouble beating Mark Henry on Superstars, too, and this led to Mark Henry dominating tonight. In fact, Henry tried the World's Strongest Slam, but Randy Orton hit the ring, delivering an RKO to Henry! Winners by disqualification: MVP and Mark Henry (4:27)[/color] **1/4Randy Orton traded blows with MVP as Ted Dibiase then applied the Million Dollar Dream, Orton and Cody Rhodes taking abdominal shots to MVP! Cody then nailed him with Cross-Rhodes, Orton getting a microphone and warning Kofi Kingston to meet him in the ring next week, because he dares him to show up in England to face him one-on-one! Orton dropped the microphone, Legacy leaving. A graphic appeared, hyping up tomorrow night's main event on ECW on SyFy; Christian going one-on-one with Vladimir Kozlov in non-title action! Commercial Break[/i][/color] A segment aired, reminding us of the situation on SmackDown that was incredibly intense; Batista having demolished Rey Mysterio last week at Bragging Rights, and Mysterio's promo on SmackDown. Batista should be appearing this Friday night. Contention Turmoil Tag Team Match Big Show and John Cena vs DX[/color] An incredibly bizarre situation for this main event bout, as Shawn Michaels and Triple H both seemed confident, and were stalked out by Hornswoggle for some reason, John Cena was actually multi-tasking after previously competing tonight, but here he didn't do as much, understandably. Big Show and John Cena didn't work well as a team, in fact Cena wouldn't assist as Show was in a pinfall losing situation. Triple H managed to pound at Big Show, Shawn Michaels trying to take him down repeatedly with Sweet Chin Music. Show headbutted them away though, but he especially shocked people by knocking Cena out, sending him off the apron yet tagging him in! Show fought off Triple H and Shawn Michaels as Show left the ring and just delivered a Chokeslam through the table! Show left as Triple H and Shawn Michaels looked confused! Winners by count-out: DX (9:16)[/color] **1/4Triple H stood on his feet and asked the official what was going on, the referee whispering to Justin Roberts and raising Shawn Michaels' hand in victory! Roberts announced that at Survivor Series, Shawn would be facing John Cena as well as Big Show in a triple threat match for the WWE Championship! Triple H shook his head, but then helped his partner to his feet and the two hugged, Hornswoggle dancing in the ring as well! DX celebrated as John Cena remained unconscious at ringside; RAW going off the air![/font][/center][/td][/tr][/table] [/color][/font][/td][/tr] [tr][td] Match[/color][/font][/td][td] Result[/color][/font][/td][td] Notes[/color][/font][/td][/tr] [tr][td] 05[/td][td] DX defeated Big Show and John Cena[/td][td] Contention Turmoil Tag Team Match[/td][/tr] [tr][td] 04[/td][td] MVP and Mark Henry defeated Ted Dibiase and Cody Rhodes by disqualification[/td][td] Tag Team Match[/td][/tr] [tr][td] 03[/td][td] John Cena defeated Chris Masters[/td][td] Non-Title Match[/td][/tr] [tr][td] 02[/td][td] Sheamus defeated Santino Marella[/td][td] Singles Match[/td][/tr] [tr][td] 01[/td][td] Primo and Evan Bourne defeated The Miz and Jack Swagger[/td][td] Tag Team Match[/td][/tr][/table][/center]

Raw, nice Main Events. Shocked to see Primo and Bourne go over here, but it makes sense with the conflict between Miz and Swagger. Good win for Sheamus, keep him destroying jobbers for now. Big Show taking out DX? Interesting. Glad to see John Cena over Chris Masters. Wow, slightly confusing turn of events here, so if Cena wins he faces Hornswoggle for the Womens Title? Haha, just kidding. Ah, the classic Raw's Got Talent segment, priceless. Good win for MVP and Henry as it's via DQ and doesn't hurt Legacy. Interesting Main Event, made sense for DX to win here. Good ending also. Overall, good Raw.

- Decent two matches announced by Ozzy. I would have actually preferred to see Jericho/Cena. - Eh, Primo is really just a jobber to me and I don’t think he should be used in any way more than that. - Good squash win for Sheamus. I hope you are able to make me care about the guy. - I don’t think Cena/Masters is really all that interesting. Cena beating him is predictable, at least with Jericho I could have maybe doubted the outcome. - Honestly, I was confused about the main event and didn’t really feel like sorting throught that mess to figure it out. - HBK/Show/Cena at Survivor Series is interesting.

ECW on SyFy Tuesday 3rd November 2009 Providence, Rhode Island | Dunkin Donuts Arena |
[/color] Aired on SyFy Network[/center] Dark Match: Tommy Dreamer defeated Charlie Haas (5:47) WWE Superstars Match:[/color] The Hurricane defeated William Regal (6:28)[/size] We kick off ECW on SyFy as the crowd cheered, 'Close Your Eyes' playing into the arena as Christian came out to the arena with the ECW Championship on his shoulder. Christian walked to the ring as he mentioned he had a tough battle with Yoshi Tatsu last week on ECW, and it was uneventfully ruined by the prescense of Vladimir Kozlov. Christian talks about how the Ruthless Roundtable has been a thorn in his side for so long, and he's not about to let Yoshi Tatsu's career get tarnished too. Christian calls out William Regal, as his theme hits, Regal followed by Vladimir Kozlov and Ezekiel Jackson. Regal talks about how the only reason Christian is where he is today, is because he wasn't allowed in on the contention for the ECW Championship around the time that he won the belt. And he's never stopped wanting to take that belt away from Christian. Christian tells Regal that he wants Regal at Survivor Series, and if he wants, the ECW Championship will be on the line! The crowd popped, as Regal tells Christian he'll have to think about that! Regal decides that tonight, it'd be best if Kozlov and Zeke took on Christian and Yoshi Tatsu! Christia accepted.
Commercial Break
An advertisement aired, counting down the days until WrestleMania XXVI tickets are on sale, this Saturday. This was played to the sound of 'Welcome to the World' by Kevin Rudolf.
Singles Match Goldust vs Zack Ryder with Rosa Mendes [/color] A decent match in actual fact, to kick the show off. Zack Ryder and Goldust fought back and forth as Goldust seemed especially motivated against Ryder. Ryder was accompanied by Rosa Mendes tonight, not quite sure why, but Ryder just pounded at Goldust and fought fire with fire. Goldust managed to get Ryder up for the Curtain Call, but Ryder kneed Goldust in the head and the Zack Attack gave Ryder the win. Winner: Zack Ryder (5:51)[/color] **1/2Zack Ryder celebrated his win by hugging Rosa Mendes, the two leaving together; Goldust didn't seem too happy, as Mendes seemed to be all over Ryder; Ryder didn't quite know how to act, but he still celebrated with her. We go to the backstage area as Tiffany was standing with a sling on her arm, as a new wrestler came in, Tiffany telling him it is great to see him here. Vance Archer was announced as his name, as Archer tells Tiffany that is Vance Archer, and tonight, he will make a statement! Archer left, as he seemed to glare at her broken arm briefly. Commercial Break[/color][/b] A 'Did You Know?' segment aired, informing us that more than 100 million pictures on WWE.com had been downloaded in the past month. Singles Match Shelton Benjamin vs Paul Burchill[/color] Actually a good match here, as Paul Burchill and Shelton Benjamin seemed to express signs of chemistry. Burchill fought well against Benjamin, but Benjamin was set out for victory tonight, Benjamin going straight for kicks and even attempting the Paydirt early on, just for Burchill to give Benjamin a spinebuster. Burchill worked the back of Shelton with a backbreaker, soon setting up for the Dangerous Buster, but The Hurricane flew from above, just dangling above the ring! This distracted Burchill, and Benjamin nailed the Paydirt for the win! Winner: Shelton Benjamin (11:20)[/color] **3/4Shelton Benjamin celebrates his victory as the crowd cheered, but then The Hurricane landed in the ring and traded blows with Paul Burchill! Hurricane bounced off the ropes, but walked straight into the Dangerous Buster! Katie Lea Burchill came out to the rampway, a microphone in hand as she announced that she's been persuading Tiffany, and it's official; next week on ECW, it will be Burchill against Hurricane and the loser must leave ECW! Burchill grinned and left. We go to the backstage area as Abraham Washington was sat with Tony Atlas, as Washington talked to Atlas about a recent offer he had gotten. Atlas seemed confused as to what he meant, Washington throwing a Rubicks cube at Atlas. Atlas questioned why, Abe said it was for being stupid. Classic villain-sidekick relationship. An advertisement aired, promoting the release of 'Batista: I Walk Alone' on DVD. Commercial Break[/color][/b] Singles Match Tyler Reks vs Vance Archer[/color] A pretty decent match here, between two big men, but this match was certainly not the greatest of the night. Tyler Reks has previously lost momentum, but him and Vance Archer fought pretty back and forth. Archer showed a nice prescense, though, even suplexing Reks with stalling addition. Reks tried a flying forearm but Archer just straight-up caught him, and nailed a fallaway slam on Reks! Archer continued the attack as he ended things with the TKO. Winner: Vance Archer (5:10)[/color] **1/4Vance Archer celebrated his victory, in his debut on ECW! Commercial Break[/color][/b] Tag Team Match Christian and Yoshi Tatsu vs Ezekiel Jackson and Vladimir Kozlov[/color] A solid main event here, as the ECW Champion, Christian took on Ezekiel Jackson as the match began, Zeke and Christian battling well with Christian dodging whatever Jackson threw at him, Christian and Yoshi Tatsu teaming up to weaken the arm of big Zeke. Kozlov soon got the tag though, and he just struck Tatsu in the heart with the headbutt. Kozlov and Zeke demoralized and isolated Tatsu, tearing apart at the Asian sensation of ECW. Kozlov went for the Uranage, but Christian managed to swipe the tag, taking both Kozlov and Zeke down, William Regal trying to get involved. Regal climbed into the ring, but Yoshi took him down with a missile dropkick, Christian ducking a clothesline from Zeke and rolling him up for three! Winner: Christian and Yoshi Tatsu (11:02)[/color] **3/4Christian nailed the Killswitch on William Regal, but Vladimir Kozlov made Christian drop it. Christian took Kozlov down, Ezekiel Jackson being taken down by a dropkick from Yoshi Tatsu. The Ruthless Roundtable backed up the rampway as the ECW Champion and Yoshi stood tall! ECW went off the air.[/font][/center][/td][/tr][/table] [/color][/font][/td][/tr] [tr][td] Match[/color][/td][td] Result[/color][/td][td] Notes[/color][/td][/tr] [tr][td] 04[/td][td] Christian and Yoshi Tatsu defeated Vladimir Kozlov and Ezekiel Jackson[/td][td] Tag Team Match[/td][/tr] [tr][td] 03[/td][td] Vance Archer defeated Tyler Reks[/td][td] Singles Match[/td][/tr] [tr][td] 02[/td][td] Shelton Benjamin defeated Paul Burchill[/td][td] Singles Match[/td][/tr] [tr][td] 01[/td][td] Zack Ryder defeated Goldust[/td][td] Singles Match[/td][/tr][/table][/center]

First off, love the format. That's a good ECW logo. You might want to modify that and put ECW up or something so we know it's up. Anyways, as usual fantastic show. Good main event announcement. It looks like that's going to be a good main event. I am so glad you continue to push Ryder! Man that guy is awesome. Goldust is too but Ryder is the future! Not to many diaries even notice Paul Burchill. Though he lost, he usually doesn't fight a good 11 minutes. He's getting squashed by Hurricane now. Anyways, Burchill and Benjamin two great future stars. Always makes for a great match like Punk vs. Morrison or something. Vance Archer is cool too. I respect the kid and he's an amazing superstar. Seems you think he's good too lol. Good win for the faces. Sure to give the momentum to Christian and Regal was probably so furious that he'll want his title match.
Great show Dan. Keep up this diary. I remember that diary you, DTP, and Jord did. My all time favorite. It was called DTP, Hammers, and Jord Present WWE 2008. You also had that WWE: A New Rise 2008 diary that was phenomenal as well. Both diaries resembles it and both are awesome

ECW, good opening and a good Main Event. Glad to see Ryder of Goldust here, hopefully you push Ryder. Love the Benjamin victory with the Hurricane interference. I see you're going down the Loser Leaves ECW route. Hopefully, whoever loses gets something else. Good debut for Archer here, I don't like Reks. The TKO is a perfect move for the poor-mans Test. Shocked to see the faces go over, but pleased at the same time as it built the feud between Chrisian and the Roundtable. Good ECW, Dan.

WWE Superstars Thursday 5th October 2009 Worcester, Massachusetts | ISU Arena Providence, Rhode Island | Dunkin Donuts Arena Aired on WGN America
"Invincible" by Adelita's Way kicks off Superstars, as the opening video package airs, followed up by pyrotechnics, the crowd cheering for Superstars on WGN America this Thursday evening! Byron Saxton and Todd Grisham introduce us to this show, before we cut to the arena for our opening contest from the ECW brand!
Singles Match The Hurricane vs William Regal |
[/color] A decent opening contest to kick things off from the ECW brand, as The Hurricane seems to be on route for ECW on SyFy from Sheffield, England next week, where he will be going up against Paul Burchill in a loser leaves ECW match. William Regal tried to prevent this from occuring, though, and it seemed to work for the main part, as Regal eroded and worked away at the well-documented neck of the superhero in green. Hurricane seemed in a bad way as Regal applied the Regal Stretch, but 'Just Close Your Eyes' hit the arena, and Regal rushed to his feet, anticipating the arrival of Christian! Hurricane took advantage, cradling Regal for three! Winner: The Hurricane (6:28)[/color] **[/color] The Huricane celebrated his victory by darting out of the ring, his arm being raised in victory as William Regal had a temper tantrum in the ring, kicking the ropes and the turnbuckles, Regal irate! Commercial BreakAn edition of 'Ask the Divas' aired, as Rosa Mendes, Eve, Maria, Natalya, Katie Lea Burchill and Jillian all gave their two cents on advice about breaking up with a girlfriend. Alicia Fox, Gail Kim and the Bella Twins talked about speaking in front of a crowd. WWE Divas Championship Melina (c) vs Alicia Fox[/color] Not too bad a match here, to be frank, and really featured some nice exchanges of moves, some of which we do not normally expect from somebody of Alicia Fox's shape. Fox usually drags lacklustre matches, but she fit in well with the WWE Divas Champion, Melina. Melina seemed eager to get the match over with, but Fox wouldn't allow it. Eventually though, Fox tried the scissors kick, Melina dodged it and Melina hit the Extreme Makeover for three! Winner: Melina (c) (4:41)[/color] **Melina celebrated her defense as the WWE Divas Champion as she left the ring, Alicia Fox seemed unsatisfied, laid out in the ring. An advertisement for SmackDown vs RAW 2010 aired. Commercial BreakA 'Did You Know' graphic appeared, informing us that John Cena has granted 140 wishes to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, more than any superstars in WWE, NBA or NFL history. Singles Match Eric Escobar with Vickie Guerrero vs JTG with Shad[/color] Eric Escobar, the 'Puerto-Rican Nightmare' was accompanied by Vickie Guerrero tonight, as he seemed as lovey-dovey as ever, but tonight he had to take on one-half of Cryme Tyme, JTG. Shad accompanied his partner to the ring, as JTG tried to chop down the larger Escobar, Escobar simply taking him down with a clothesline and working away at abdomen of JTG but JTG soon retalliated. However, Vickie attempted to grab the foot of JTG, and JTG grabbed her by the hair; Escobar grabbed JTG and nailed the Latino Temper (full-nelson slam) for the win! Winner: Eric Escobar (5:51)[/color] **1/4Eric Escobar left the ring just in time, as Shad entered, Shad attending to Cryme Tyme partner, JTG. Escobar raised Vickie Guerrero's hand, then kissing her on the cheek to the audience's disgust and boos. A graphic appeared, promoting our main event; Matt Hardy against Chris Jericho to be up next! Commercial BreakAn advertisement aired, promoting WrestleMania XXVI tickets going on sale this Saturday, playing to the sound of 'Welcome to the World' by Kevin Rudolf. Singles Match Matt Hardy vs Chris Jericho[/color] Well, Chris Jericho needed some preparation for the match this Friday against Kane, as the winner of that match will face The Undertaker at Survivor Series for the World Heavyweight Championship, but tonight he found himself stuck with Matt Hardy. The former ECW Champion fought well with Jericho, a fellow veteran to the company. Hardy used some technical moves to catch Jericho off-guard and it seemed as though Jericho just wasn't focused; and that could even effect his chances on SmackDown. Hardy soon attempted the Twist of Fate, but Jericho turned it around and he flipped Hardy up, applying the Walls of Jericho and Hardy tapped! Winner: Chris Jericho (13:08)[/color] **3/4Chris Jericho celebrated to boos, but will the WWE Unified Tag Team Champion be able to gain contention to the World Heavyweight Championship and beat Kane tomorrow night? WWE Superstars goes off the air.[/center][/td][/tr][/table] [/color][/td][/tr] [tr][td] Match[/font][/td][td] Result[/font][/td][td] Notes[/font][/td][/tr] [tr][td] 04[/td][td] Chris Jericho defeated Matt Hardy[/td][td] SmackDown Singles Match[/td][/tr] [tr][td] 03[/td][td] Eric Escobar defeated JTG[/td][td] SmackDown Singles Match[/td][/tr] [tr][td] 02[/td][td] Melina defeated Alicia Fox[/td][td] RAW WWE Divas Chmpionship Match[/td][/tr] [tr][td] 01[/td][td] The Hurricane defeated William Regal[/td][td] ECW Singles Match[/td][/tr][/table][/font][/center]

- The Hurricane over William Regal: Awesome. Wouldn't of minded seeing Regal win, actually expected him to but yay. - Melina retaining, at least on Superstars, is quite fairly obvious. - Eric Escobar defeated JTG is alright. Not much a fan of either of them TBH. But, I guess Escobar is more valuable at this point. - A great main event for Superstars, having Jericho vs Matt. Glad Jericho one, not only would it be good momentum for the contenders match the next night, but it'd also be good overall because it was against a good mid-carder in Matt.
Good Superstars.

-Hurricane going over William Regal is fine, wouldn't mind who beat who in that match
-Melina retaining is cool, didn't expect her to lose her title on Superstars
-Would of perfered JTG going over Escobar, but its fine. Hopefully you push Escobar right
-Great main event. Glad Jericho won, gives him more momentum to the contender's match on SmackDown. Hopefully Matt can get an IC title reign in the future.
Good show overall man.

WWE SmackDown Friday 6th November 2009 Providence, Rhode Island | Dunkin Donuts Arena |
[/color] Aired on MyNetworkTV[/center] Dark Match: Tommy Dreamer defeated Charlie Haas (5:45) WWE Superstars Match:[/color] Eric Escobar defeated JTG (5:51)[/size] An omenous gong hit the arena to kick off SmackDown this week, as the crowd popped immensely awaiting the arrival of the World Heavyweight Champion, The Undertaker. He reared his head among the darkness, soon slowly walking down to the ring as the crowd popped for him. 'Taker got into the ring eventually, a microphone in hand as Undertaker talked about how nineteen years ago, he had started his journey into the valley of darkness, and since the 1990 Survivor Series, many have fallen, in particular seventeen at WrestleMania. He has taken anybody down, Giant Gonzalez, Yokozuna, King Kong Bundy, Kane, Diesel, Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair, Triple H, Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock; the list goes on and on, as more contenders seem to attempt to put the Phenom through hell. And tonight, Chris Jericho or Kane will contend to his title at Survivor Series. 'Taker mentions Kane as his brother, but 'Break the Walls Down' hit, the crowd booing as the WWE Unified Tag Team Champion wandered out in ring attire, the belts on his shoulder and the microphone in hand, as he talks about if 'Taker really still has it. Jericho calls 'Taker biased for mentioning his brother, Kane. Jericho mentions that 'Taker deep down is scared of him because he's never fought him in one-on-one competition. Jericho tells 'Taker that he is not scared of him, but suddenly, 'Taker tells him that he should be, and he will tonight. 'Taker dropped the mic and raised his hands as the pyrotechnics of Kane went off beside Jericho! Jericho dropped to the rampway, then getting up, picking up his belts and leaving! 'Taker grinned evily.
An advertisement aired, set to 'Welcome to the World' by Kevin Rudolf, and tickets for WrestleMania XXVI will be released tomorrow!
Commercial Break
A 'Did You Know?' graphic appeared, informing us that more people visit WWEUniverse.com than MySpace, Twitter or Facebook.
Extreme Rules Match Finlay vs Drew McIntyre [/color] Drew McIntyre and Finlay have recently been involved in quite some lethal exchanges, as both men have exchanged their fair share of beatdowns, and it was to come to an end tonight on SmackDown, as the 'Fighting Irishman' fought McIntyre well, using a singapore cane against the Scotsman handpicked by Vince McMahon, though it wouldn't last, as more weapons such as trash cans and a stop sign appeared, and Finlay's attempt at a Celtic Cross on the stop sign was reversed as McIntyre slid out and then nailed the Scot Drop through a trash can for the win! Winner: Drew McIntyre (7:29)[/color] **1/2Drew McIntyre began to celebrate his victory as the crowd booed, McIntyre with his arms raised over Finlay's unconscious body. McIntyre was handed a microphone at his own request by Tony Chimel, as McIntyre told the SmackDown fans that this was only the beginning, and that on 'his' brand, this was only the beginning. Drew said that the party was over for Finlay, and the party was soon to be over for SmackDown! A graphic aired, reminding us that Batista and Rey Mysterio will meet in the ring, tonight! Commercial BreakTag Team Match The Hart Dynasty with Natalya vs Slam Master J and Jimmy Wang Yang[/color] Not a bad match by any standard in this one, as Slam Master J and Jimmy Wang Yang really seemed to be on decent terms, and treated equally with the Hart Dynasty, Tyson Kidd and Jimmy Wang Yang starting off as Wang Yang gained momentum and Slam Master J and Wang Yang started double-teaming him, but this all turned around as David Hart Smith got into the ring, and he began to work over Slam Master J, Wang Yang soon getting the tag, but as he was tossed out of the ring by Smith, Natalya got involved, scoop slamming Wang Yang! Wang Yang wouldn't recover, as he was given the Hart Attack, which ended the match. Winner: The Hart Dynasty (7:14)[/color] **3/4The Hart Dynasty celebrated their victory as Tyson Kidd and David Hart Smith both helped Natalya, their valet onto their shouders. Suddenly, though, Slam Master J came from behind, as he dropkicked Hart Dynasty! Natalya fell down as Tyson Kidd fell out of the ring, Jimmy Wang Yang then getting up and the two dropkicked David Hart Smith, Hart Dynasty being removed from the ring! Rey Mysterio was shown in the backstage area, and he is heading for the ring; he meets his old friend, Batista momentarily! Commercial BreakA replay of Bragging Rights was shown, two weeks ago on pay-per-view as it was CM Punk, Rey Mysterio and Batista all contending for The Undertaker's World Heavyweight Championship in a fatal-four-way match, and Batista almost pinned 'Taker, but Mysterio, his own friend broke it up. In the end, Undertaker retained the belt, and Batista was visibly upset; and he proceeded to demolish his friend, Rey Mysterio. 'Booyaka 619' hit the arena to cheers as Rey Mysterio walked out in a black shirt and black jeans; a dark colored mask to suit,, and Mysterio made a slow walk to the ring, high-fiving fans on the way, as he took the microphone upon entry to the ring, mentioning that he thanks everybody for the support, and he is still hurt both physically and emotionally by what his own friend, Batista did to him at Bragging Rights. Mysterio mentions that they were like brothers, but now, he just doesn't know who Batista is. Suddenly, 'I Walk Alone' played as the crowd booed, Batista walking out in a light suit and shades as Batista stood in front of Mysterio, Mysterio being brave and talking to Batista and telling him what happened, and that they both discussed this before the actual fatal-four-way match at Bragging Rights that the better man must win and if it were to come between them, then it would have to be survival of the fittest; the best prevail. Batista slowly removed his shades and stepped forward, Mysterio intrigued as Batista looked down at him and gently took the microphone, then telling Rey that he was sorry. The crowd were confused, as were Matt Striker and Todd Grisham, but Mysterio seemed happy yet surprised. Mysterio went to hug 'The Animal', but Batista held his palm out, and told him that he was sorry for what he was going to do. Rey looked confused as Batista clotheslined Mysterio! Batista then picked up Mysterio again by the throat and yelled that it didn't have to be this way, but Rey had to be selfish. Batista then picked up Mysterio and delivered him a Batista Bomb [without the sitout part], Batista leaving to his theme as Mysterio was rendered unconscious in the ring. Commercial Break[/color][/i] A replay of what just occured with Batista attacking Rey Mysterio aired. We cut to the ring as John Morrison, the WWE Intercontinental Champion was in the ring, and he picked up a microphone and reminded everybody of Survivor Series being in two weeks time, and he mentions that he has been assigned as SmackDown's team captain in one of the Survivor Series tag team matches against The Miz from RAW, his former WWE Tag Team Champion partner. Morrison mentioned that maybe he was unsuccessful at Bragging Rights against the WWE United States Champion, but he's confident about Survivor Series! Tag Team Match John Morrison and R-Truth vs Dolph Ziggler and CM Punk[/color] A solid match here, as the 'Straight-Edge Superstar' CM Punk was motivated to take out R-Truth after eating defeat from the rapper last Friday night on SmackDown. John Morrison meanwhile had unfinished business with the very brash and arrogant Dolph Ziggler, and Ziggler seemed to dominate R-Truth as the match begin; Ziggler and Punk literally working with perfection in double-team action with R-Truth. Morrison soon got the tag at long last, and he took down Ziggler and Punk repeatedly, R-Truth and Punk both falling into a brawl outside of the ring. Morrison attempted the Moonlight Drive, but Ziggler flapjacked Morrison onto the top rope, and Ziggler nailed the Zigzag for the shocking win! Winner: Dolph Ziggler and CM Punk (8:46)[/color] ***Dolph Ziggler celebrated his victory with his arms raised. Ziggler had just defeated the WWE Intercontinental Champion, John Morrison, as R-Truth meanwhile slid into the ring in disbelief. CM Punk backed up the rampway in celebration as well. An advertisement for SmackDown vs RAW 2010 airs. Commercial BreakAn advertisement for Survivor Series airs, live on pay-per-view on Sunday, November 22nd at the Verizon Center in Washington DC. We go to the backstage area as Matt Hardy was shown, and he spoke about how last night, Chris Jericho and him competed in a hard-fought battle on WWE Superstars, but he thought he heard something pop in his head, and it made him wake up and realize that he's not showing as much heart and soul as he used to. And that is why, as of next week, he plans to put more effort into his work, show more enthusiasm, and most importantly make him believe in himself as a wrestler again! Suddenly, Eric Escobar appeared with Vickie Guerrero as Guerrero giggled with Escobar, the two rolling their eyes and walking away. Hardy looked angry. Singles Match Beth Phoenix vs Maria[/color] Nothing too special a match here, in fact Beth Phoenix pretty much womanhandled Maria to no end. Maria seemed happy to be here, but she did not make too much of a positive impact on the match itself, showing some heart by standing up with lefts and rights to Beth Phoenix, but the 'Glamazon' just kept throwing her around and gave her a gorilla press slam as well as a full nelson slam, just easily beating up Maria, and soon putting her down with the Glam Slam. Winner: Beth Phoenix (4:05)[/color] *1/2Beth Phoenix celebrated her win as Layla and Michelle McCool walked out to the rampway, Michelle whispering to Layla, the WWE Womens Championship on her shoulder as Layla and Michelle chatted; Beth glared them down. Commercial Break[/color][/b] Matt Striker and Todd Grisham hyped up next week's SmackDown, as it announced that on Sunday night at 5PM Eastern time, the teams for the Survivor Series matches, captained by John Morrison and The Miz; Randy Orton and Kofi Kingston and RAW vs SmackDown divas will be announced. As for next week on SmackDown, they hyped Matt Hardy facing Eric Escobar, plus John Morrison will defend the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Dolph Ziggler; all in Sheffield, England! #1 Contenders Match Chris Jericho vs Kane[/color] A solid main event here as this one seemingly could have gone either way. Chris Jericho has fought the 'Big Red Monster' countless times, and every time he has suffered when it came to chopping down the larger Kane. Here, Kane seemingly dominated Jericho in the early goings, proceeding to just wear the WWE Unified Tag Team Champion down. Jericho soon found a weak spot though, as Kane was dropkicked out of the ring, and it appeared as though he banged his knee on the way out; Jericho picking at the knee. Jericho soon found himself in trouble though, as diving off of the top rope got him into the Chokeslam, and Jericho ever-so barely got his foot on the rope! Kane soon went for another Chokeslam, but Jericho kicked him right in the knee and Kane shoved him into the official! Jericho was in trouble as Kane grabbed him by the throat once again, but Big Show came to ringside and gave Kane a knockout punch! Jericho rolled up Kane as the official was revived; Jericho getting the win! Winner: Chris Jericho (12:19)[/color] ***Chris Jericho celebrated his victory to boos as Big Show got into the ring, the WWE Unified Tag Team Champions standing tall! Suddenly, a gong hit the arena as Kane sat up, Jerishow fleeing the ring! The Undertaker then appeared on the rampway as Jericho will now have to deal with the Phenom at Survivor Series! SmackDown goes off the air.[/center] Dark Match:[/color] The Undertaker defeated CM Punk (10:15)[/font][/size][/td][/tr][/table] [/color][/font][/td][/tr] [tr][td] Match[/color][/font][/td][td] Result[/color][/font][/td][td] Notes[/color][/font][/td][/tr] [tr][td] DARK[/td][td] The Undertaker defeated CM Punk[/td][td] World Heavyweight Championship[/td][/tr] [tr][td] 05[/td][td] Chris Jericho defeated Kane[/td][td] #1 Contenders Match[/td][/tr] [tr][td] 04[/td][td] Beth Phoenix defeated Maria[/td][td] Singles Match[/td][/tr] [tr][td] 03[/td][td] Dolph Ziggler and CM Punk defeated John Morrison and R-Truth[/td][td] Tag Team Match[/td][/tr] [tr][td] 02[/td][td] The Hart Dynasty defeated Slam Master J and Jimmy Wang Yang[/td][td] Tag Team Match[/td][/tr] [tr][td] 01[/td][td] Drew McIntyre defeated Finlay[/td][td] Extreme Rules Match[/td][/tr][/table][/center]

SmackDown, good opening segment, looking forward to the Main Event. Great opener here, and I'm glad that McIntyre got the victory, I hope he receives a decent push. Very happy that the Hart Dynasty wins here, but I love the aftermath, you could actually make SlamWang a credible tag team. Interesting Batista/Mysterio segment, I look forward to see what you do with this. Hopefully you don't end it as quickly as WWE did. Surprised to see Ziggler and Punk go over Morrison and Truth. Phoenix over Maria is obvious. Finally, Jericho over Kane was predictable, Jericho/Undertaker should be good for Survivor Series. Good SmackDOwn.

- there is something about Undertaker coming up and talking for awhile that I just don’t like. Taker doesn’t have the gimmick where he would just come out and talk. He is more of a come out of nowhere, scare you, and then choke slam. - Drew going over makes sense. A solid opener choice as well. - Solid win for the Hart Dynasty, I guess. - Good segment with Batista and Rey. Seems like that is something either did or could have done. - Very good tag team match, I thought. Loved seeing Ziggler pinning Morrison. - A apparent Hardy/Escobar feud doesn’t look great on paper, but we’ll see what happens. - Pretty Obvious that Jericho would be winning. But, a decent main event anyway.
