It already looks like they're going to go with something similar to the Vince V Donald Trump Match at Wrestlemania 23, with a man in each corner. The Logical choice would be to have John Cena V Batista, with Bret in Cena's and Vince in Batista's.
I suppose it makes sense in the way that both John Cena and Batista can have a Match that means something now, but it's a shame that Vince and Bret couldn't just have the Street Fight.
Just looks like this is the way it's going to go now.

im personally glad Bret isn't lacing them back up, hasn't been at it in forever and I'd imagine his move set/bumps he could take would be really limited. Cena vs Batista isn't the most exciting match up ever though.

What about a tag match, Bret & Cena vs. Batista & Vince, with Vince, Batista, & Cena doing all of the bumping? If it was a tag team street fight Bret wouldn't even need to throw on the singlet...just get a few shows on Vince, nail him with a few chairs, and maybe at some point lock on the sharpshooter, if he still can.

It's all happening twelve years too late! Brett's in no shape to wrestle; crazy Vince is getting a bit too old to continue acting nuts in the ring. All I know is come Wrestlemania, I'll be holding my breath, hoping both of them (Vince & Brett) leave the ring in good shape. Let Batista and Cena do most of the work; let Vince and Brett get the accolade because they deserve it.

batista and cena cant wrestle anyways . . . . they are totally screwing this up . . . . i would rather see Bret Hart vs Vince in a street fight than Cena vs Batista

ummm where is it said that this is going to happen? We are still well over a month and half before Mania. Give it time and see where it's going. A tag match would be stupid and having Bret and McMahon in the corners are stupid too.
Even the "E" knows that a one on one between Hart and McMahon would sell.

They should just go through with a Street Fight. Vince is a terrible wrestler, so there's no need for any heavy spots. They should just have a typical, bloody Street Fight.

I'm sure the WWE would LOVE to do a Street Fight match with Vince and Bret, but most likely, Bret is in no condition to take any bumps. This is probably the best that they can come up with with what they are able to do. Hopefully, at the end of the match Bret can lock in a sharpshooter on Vince to end the rivalry (after Cena wins of course)

Exactly all Bret has to do is throw punches and kicks, and the occasional chair shot to Vince, then Sharpshooter.....I'd book the match to go like 7 minutes with Vince getting NO offense at all.

As much as I would love to see Bret versus Vince at Mania, I'm just not sure it's going to happen. Bret isn't in the best of shape after his stroke & Vince is in his mid 60's. So it might not be the best idea for either of them to "risk it". Having them involved with Cena & Batista will help the storyline progress without risking either of their health. So this way is okay, as far as I'm concerned.

Anybody who ever thought Bret Hart was going to face Vince McMahon is just a total idiot. Simple as that.

But I bet we still will see Bret get a few shots in at Vince, and probably the sharpshooter!

I don't really care for any of the combinations in the direction they're headed. Bret and Vince are obviously strong enough to stand on their own, but i understand if Bret doesn't want to/can't get in the ring.
As for Cena/Batista, it's a feud that can stand on it's own two legs without the use of Bret and Vince. I don't want this to turn into another Mania '23 when Lashley and Umaga had absolutely no reason to be facing each other, other than being Trump and McMahon's picks. There's history between Batista and Cena already, and the end of the Rumble laid the groundwork for a continuation of the feud. I just feel like WWE is going to get lazy and let the Bret/Vince feud tell the story of Cena vs. Batista, and I don't like that.

I would like to see Bret Hart vs. Vince McMahon but I am now worried about Bret Hart's well-being now. Did anyone else notice how bad he seemed to be struggling when he was being attacked by Batista, I even think he was going to go for the Batista Bomb but Bret just couldn't do it.
But comparing Cena (with Hart) and Batista (with McMahon) to McMahon vs. Trump is harsh. That match put hair on the line, and the representatives were Umaga and Lashley (two superstars that seemed drawn out of a hat). Cena and Batista are top faces of the company, and Vince and Bret are true legends.

Look, I don't think Bret would have chosen to come back - if not for epic proportions. He didn't come back to have John Cena hog his spotlight. I have faith that Bret will face Vince 1 on 1 at Mania. People are saying Bret didn't fight back because he couldn't. NO - he didn't fight back, as part of the angle. I actually thought Bret looked better since seeing him on 1/4. He got a haircut - fixing up some of those gray hairs & I thought he lost maybe 10-15 lbs. Bret vs. Vince will happen at Mania.....

I honestly thought they should have HBK vs Batista. Batista eliminated him from the Rumble and what better way to do a historic Wrestlemania moment than have HBK align himself with Bret.

Yeah, but did you see Bret on Raw? He was having trouble throwing and taking punches. And I love Bret Hart, but I don't want to see him solidly kick the crap out of Vince McMahon for 7 minutes. There needs to be some drama to it. As I recall, most people liked Cena vs. Batista from Wrestlemania. And this is a fresh match up, and a big draw for Wrestlemania. I'm perfectly okay with this.

Why the hell are people saying bret was having trouble throwing punches??? WTF did you all see?? His punches were fine, better then most people to tell you the truth. It only looked awkard at first because it was hard to get McMahons suit over his head.
Also Batista was not going for the Batista Bomb! Nooo waaay, the same thing happen only reason that looked weird is cuz he struggled to get brets jacket over his face.

He was just hockey fighting Vince, nothing wrong with that. He is Canadian after all, it's natural.
