Must not be. What doesn't work about it? People don't do their assignments?

I am getting sick of never having penalties called. I cant tell y'all how many times Ive been held, or ive been a victim of pass interference and it is NEVER EVER called. Cheap ass game. I am getting sick of madden and its little annoyances. At its core it is a great game, but there are just so many little things that add up to make me not like it. Maybe instead of adding stupid useless crap like gameflow, they should fix the problems the actual game has.

Just started the second year of my Ravens franchise. Scratched and clawed all the way to a win over the Minnesota Vikings in Super Bowl XLV.
- After the season ended and the last of the confetti fell, veteran WR Derrick Mason decided it was time to hang it up, and retired. With Mason now gone, Baltimore scrambled to extend the contract of WR T.J. Houshmandzadeh, signed WR Malcolm Floyd, and took two WRs in the NFL draft.
- Backup QB Marc Bulger also parted ways with the Baltimore franchise. To fill the gaps, the Ravens signed veteran QB Kerry Collins and traded a 3rd round draft pick for Panther's QB Jimmy Clausen. RB Jalen Parmele left the team, and the spot was quickly filled by Free Agent RB Laurence Maroney. Offensive Linemen Chris Chester and Jared Gaither also left the team.
- Many moves were made during the off-season. Baltimore lost many of it's defensive players, including Safeties Haruki Nakamura and Tom Zbikowski and Cornerback Chris Carr. But, a returning Dominique Foxworth and newly signed Dwight Lowery and Jordan Babineaux filled the gaps.
- There were also shifts at the Linebacker position. Tavares Gooden left the team, leaving the door open for the Ravens to sign A.J. Hawk to a 5-year deal. Paul Kruger was moved to Defensive End with the departure of Trevor Pryce and the return of Sergio Kindle.
The defending NFL champions look to replicate the magic of last season, starting off on a Monday night against bitter rivals, the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Oh, and Brett Favre retired... again.

Anyone have any tips to keep Superstar mode from being so easy? I'm a QB with the Oakland Raiders and a 75 overall. There's no reason why I should be throwing for 230+ yards and 3 TDs seemingly every game.

I just got the 5th patch on Madden 11. I think the game is much improved. The defense is much better now. What do you think of patch 5?

Anybody have any idea when demo's and the like will surface for 2012? I just don't want to buy this game if it has like 3 months till it's out of date is all.

Is there a "happy medium" on this game?? I set it one way and cant move the ball out of my own 20 and set it another way and I scored 120+ points......This blows.

I will admit after playing it for a long time, the game sucks, yet I'm still addicted.
Problems: -I can never get the person I want to control at the right time. -Rarely does the game call a penalty except for holding on the user, not the computer -All pro is too easy, all madden is too hard

I got the game for Christmas, I think its really good. I put it on All-Pro then adjusted some of the CPU sliders and Penalty sliders as well. I had a great game in exhibition against the Eagles as the Cowboys. Back and forth game that ended in the final seconds of overtime by a field goal from Buehler(yes he actually made it lol). Started my season and played through the preseason. Now I'm ready for game 1 which is Skins vs Boys.. Has anyone returned a kickoff yet? Not even close and I'm bad at returning punts too.

Returning is easy if you have blocks in front of you

It's been easy for me, honestly. Each time I've done it has more or less been a line drive down the sideline.

(PS3)Is it supposed to be like this? The commentary is louder on the right side of my TV speaker than the left. It's not my TV because the crowd volume is balanced between both speakers. I'm just curious if anyone else's game does this?

Has anyone returned a kickoff yet? My buddy returned 4 KOs on me for TDs, one was called back for clipping. No matter what kick i did it got returned, down the middle, directed in one place, squib. As for punts it seems once you get past the 2 gunners head one direction and then cut back and go the other and none of the guys ever catch you

^Cool, thanks for the tips everybody. I know I'll get plenty of practice at it since I've started my Franchise mode. I beat the Skins 35-7 in the first game. They had 3 turnovers(2 interceptions, 1 fumble). I didn't have that good of a day on offense but my D did a good job all game. Miles Austin ended up with 116 yards receiving and 2 TDs.. Going to be a tougher game in week 2 against the Bears..
