According to the Superstars taping tonight Shelton Benjamin faces Kane in what looks to be a match with their MITB spots on the line. Kane beats Benjamin, now tell me in all honesty what the hell is the point of trimming up the MITB spots so close to WrestleMania? Wouldn't that make the previous qualifier matches completely pointless? If this is true its ing bullcrap, I like Kane and all, but leaving your all around best athlete for him, really?

A. They're taping Superstars on a Wednesday? B. Dropping Shelton in favor of Kane? Really?

No point in you saying "(Spoilers)" when your title already spoiled it.

No point in you saying "(Spoilers)" when your title already spoiled it. Haha. I can see them doing this with with any other person, but Shelton has been in 4 of the 5 MITB matches, so why mess around with his numbers?

That is bullsh*t if this is true.
I hope it was just a regular match but if true I am mad since Benjamin is a lot better than Kane especially in ladder matches.

The Superstars Preview at WWE.com does not mention anything about MITB spot being on the line. Its just a regular match

Charlie Haas keeps talking about how Shelton's contract is up soon and he's trying to talk him out of staying. This news makes me wonder.

if this is true then WWE. Seriously, Benjamin makes the match more interesting and I know he might not win it but still should be in.

Shelton MAKES THAT MATCH EVER YEAR! he's the most under rated guy in the WWE and deserves a push or needs to make the jump to TNA..where he blongs with the best Yup the Nasty Boyz sure are the best... Anyways I'm pretty sure this is incorrect so I'll wait until after Superstars to make a full decision on the situation.

I hope to god this is not true. Benjamin has some of the best spots every year! We all know Kane is just there as a big guy to make it look like the others stand less of a chance. Don't get me wrong i like Kane but Benj needs to be in there.

wow, what great news we have today, the greatest athlete in the wwe gets booted off of his only meaningful performance a year @ WM, and Shawn Michaels is hanging up his boots, is this a curse?

Where are you getting that the match is for one MITB spot? It doesn't say that anywhere on WWE.com.

This better not be true. Put Kane and Drew in a pre-show match instead. Shelton deserves better.
I hope this has nothing to do with a wellness violation.
Update: Just checked WWE.com and nothing was said about their spot being on the line. Neither did the spoilers I read.
